The hotel is in a very nice location, with a variety of breakfast and the respect of the staff, everything was very nice.

If you want to stay in the old city, the location is unbeatable. A few minute's walk from everything in the old city or the bus and ferry hub which will take you anywhere else you want to go in Istanbul. (Don't miss the Ottoman station litterally around the corner from the hotel - we almost did and discovered it by chance.) Staff was very friendly and responsive.

The aircon did not consitently work. The carpets although clean looks like they needed replacement 10 years ago. The pool/spa area felt a bit seedy. The hotel feels like it is in need of a revamp.

Great location, just next to public transport and main attractions as Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque and Haghia Sophia. The Grand Bazaar is just 15 minutes walking distance from the hotel and the area is full of caffes, street food, restaurants, bars and lovely people! I travelled with my 2 teenage daughters and I felt very safe wherever we went. Breakfast was good and good choice of options. The room was clean and even quiet as we were at the 4th floor facing the street. Personnel is very friendly and willing to help at any time. Izeet and Cadir from the reception went up and above in order to keep us informed about entertainments, transport, best places for shopping or other activities. We highly recommend this hotel.

There was nothing I didn't like

I've seen some bad opinions before comming there and after my one week stay I can say that they're unreasonably biased. Rooms are cleaned every day and scent is just normal. I haven't had even one unpleasant suprise. Personel was nice, breakfasts are comparable to other hotels (they're more/less the same every day but this is how it looks like even in international hotels). Room looked identical as it's presented on the pictures, location is great for sightseeing. In my opinion they have good value for money ratio. If I'll visit Istambul ever again, I'll come back here.

I believe it could be noisy if you have a window facing the street. There could be one more restaurant employee during peak hours.

Excellent location, near a lot of stores and restaurants, all kinds of public transportation are in 5 minutes walk, sights in the area is very much in any direction you go, 10 minutes and is already worth finding, Egyptian bazaar, large mosques and cathedral. From the staff would like to highlight Izzet and Recep, very kind and responsive guys who quickly solve all problems and help with organizational issues, it is best to always address them with requests.

Breakfast is very simple and there is very little choice, but just having a snack is enough

we booked that hotel on booking.com for 252€ (270$ booking exchange rate) and select the option pay at the property. they tried to charge my credit card without letting me know. when we came for check in it was a guy, told me that we have to pay 280$ instead of 270$ (10$ extra). is not a big deal but I showed that on booking is 270$, he blamed “my system” I kindly explained that my system is actually booking and I selected that hotel based on the rates from booking. he tried to squeeze 10$ from us from very beginning, wasn’t really nice from his side and definitely not a good welcome.

Everything was very nice, for the price the premises were matching expectations and location is great!! Staff is great, either hotel workers either restaurant staff.. everyone friendly and helpful, cozy place with lot of fun, joy and care

Nothing to point in general, maybe suggestion is to improve a bit the breakfast and make the spa service more available, but what exists was fine for us
