I went to Istanbul for a family wedding at the very nearby Pera Palace. So the location was perfect. I was staying with my adult son, so having two bedrooms was important and both were doubles and equally comfortable, and as one was ensuite we didn't need to share a bathroom. As others have mentioned, the view from the good sized living room is spectacular in the daytime and more so at night. Definitely a room with a view, including of the Pera Palace, Golden Horn river and across the other side with mosques. The air con worked well. Has a good size fridge, kettle and toasted sandwich maker as well as microwave. The hob, which we didn't use has two electric rings. There is a switch by the door to put on green, if you want your room cleaned / laundry changed etc. The apartment was quite moden with real wood floors. It was clean and my bed was comfortable. It was also very quiet. The price was very reasonable, compared to many of the local hotels, so a lot more for less. The communication with owner via booking.com was very good. I've included some photos of the view.

Very little English is spoken, although when we arrived at 10pm the coffee shop knew we were arriving so gave us the swipes. If you come back late at night when the coffee shop is shut, then you ring a bell and you're let in, so this wasn't a problem (and this was used successfully several times including one night about 3am). The windows could have been cleaner on the outside.

It was a great, safe location for activities and walking around late at night as a solo female. The apartment was above an Expresso-lab cafe which offered a discount for residents. There was a large living area, 2 bathrooms and 2 separate bedrooms with queen size beds. This made sharing the space very relaxed.

Transport was not close. It was a hot and not enjoyable walk to and from the bus stop or metro stations. It was unclear how to get into the property after the coffee shop closed. There was a night club quite close that was noisy until late at night. The apartment was well insulated but that relied on closing the windows and using the A/C.

The location was terrific. I loved the vibe of the room, venue, and area. The views were terrific. We stayed in the penthouse (seventh floor), which required stairs from the elevator on the sixth floor. That room's balcony was a terrific place to enjoy the views. The penthouse bed was more decorative than utilitarian, but it was a comfortable place to chill or sleep as was the quiet, separate bedroom. This trip was part of a family reunion; other family stayed on the third floor, accessible via elevator. The ground floor coffee shop (EspressoLab) was a nice start to the day if one wanted, or you could brew some provided coffee or tea in your room or go somewhere else. Booking this venue for the reunion and for tourism in Istanbul worked out perfectly. I feel the amount I paid was a perfect sweet spot between amenities, location, and affordability. The view, cleanliness, and location would bring me back. Strong recommend.

My only complaint was that I didn't really know where to get help upon arrival: The check-in area was not staffed the Sunday afternoon we arrived. I approached a barista at the ground-floor EspressoLab coffee shop and at first, that person didn't seem to know what was going on. But, that was reconciled very quickly with a communication to the proprietor. While I was frazzled after ~27 hours of travel, getting the parts connected fortunately didn't take much extra effort.

This place exceeded my expectations. I booked this location for a family reunion and general tourism in Istanbul. We booked the penthouse (7th floor), that required steps from the sixth floor (the last floor accessible via elevator). I also booked my family's room on the 3rd floor (accessible via elevator). My family cooked many of their own meals, which the kitchenette accommodations easily afforded. This made for a wonderfully convenient location for this family reunion and for traveling to tourist, shopping, and historic sites across Istanbul. My family loved the accommodations. This was a terrific location, a great value, had good amenities, and I would easily book this location again.

The check-in process was the only challenge. I listed that in a separate review for my family, (When I arrived, it wasn't super clear where to check-in, but a quick communication resolved that issue.) Once I was checked-in, the proprietors were so helpful and accommodating.

Vera checked us in - she was very helpful and polite. I did not have to reach out to her again except for the AC not cooling for us - but she did respond quickly. Location is amazing. 30 seconds and you are on Istikhal Street. Nice upity builidng, made well w heavy steel and on top a coffee shop that was open pretty late. Next door to a cleaners / laundry as well. Restaurants galore. Photos are accurate of the view. There is no bad view from any floor of the Stay Labs.

Can be a bit noisy in the AM if you are a light sleeper. It was cold, but when we wanted cold air, could not get the AC's to blow cold. One night they did some demolition to open up the staircase - that was a noisy evening. Dont worry too much on the negatives. Its a nice place.

The location was great, 1 min walk from Istiqlal street. The room view was amazing😍and the place was pretty comfortable. Mr. Mehmet was welcoming and friendly. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

The apartment wasn’t suitable to accommodate 4 adults and 2 children as booked. It would comfortably accommodate 4 adults max. Although they handed us the keys to check in, the room wasn’t ready and we had to check in after 3 pm. We came back to the hotel to find the room service cleaning the room before check out time without any notice and all our belongings were still there.

Location, location, location. The apartments are newly renovated and furnished. Everything you might need in a city break like Istanbul, and great for small families, as the kids get to have an "apartment" feeling instead of a small cramped hotel room.

The Apartment entrance is through a coffee shop. Even though the staff tried their best to be helpful, but the fact is, if someone is waiting for their coffee they take priority over you. Also some basic english would be good, things like "Extra Pillow", "Cleaning", "Wifi connection" Should be standard procedure and easy to communicate.

Great views and location. Staff at coffee shop downstairs were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend 👌

Could have been cleaned up a bit better before arrival as they only did a quick surface clean. Especially in bathrooms.
