Breakfast was excellent traditional Turkish breakfast and some items were varied over the 6 days . It was a good change from the same old same old English or Continental Breakfast . Had a bit of everything and freshly prepared each morning . Felt and tasted homely and not commercial . As we came off an early morning Cruise they allowed an early check EARLY as at 11H00 as the room was ready . As our Flight out ISTANBULL was at midnight they allowed us to use the same room to check out at 21H00 at a reasonable extra charge

Nothing in particular absolutely nothing to complain about .Staff very friendly and accommodating , made our vacation memorable . Will go back anytime should the occasion present itself in the future again . Have stayed in other hotels in Istanbul on previous occasion - did not bother to go back

Splendid location, exactly 10 minutes of walking distance from "Fatih" Square and Hagia Sophia. Hospitable staff and helpful when asked for some guidance. Clean and shiny room with some tiny exceptions.

Breakfast was far from being diverse and "satiating". Anyhow, in Istanbul there is no use to pay for a hotel breakfast, better to go out and visit the magnificent cafes and bakeries in the downtown. The shower cabin, as well as the room furniture, need some refurbishment work. The view from the window was oriented towards the backyard and the other nearby buildings, not very pleasing to the eyes. Try to choose a window with a street view.

My wife and I were there between the 20th to the 24th of this August and I booked through Booking as I do every time. Mahmoud gave us a spacious and quiet room The hotel is clean and has all the facilities and everything a tourist needs. The breakfast was varied and included a lot of vegetables, fruits, healthy food, and more There is air conditioning and free Wi-Fi Very close to every place in the center area, Sultan Ahmed. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to enjoy their trip in Türkiye We thank all the hotel staff, especially Mahmoud and Rashid.

I travel to Istanbul a lot, and oftentimes it is hard to find great property to stay. This time we went for Spring Break vacations with family and friends, and our stay at Sultans Royal was great: -- All our requirements re beds configurations (pairs, families, etc) were met to the point! Many thanks! -- Great rooms. Also, hotel upgraded all of our rooms based on availability. No problem with early chekc-in! -- Hotel Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. All recommendations for restaurants, etc were excellent, no upsale - just great local value! They went above and beyond with all requests! -- Hotel Staff organized all airport transfers for us: we saved us a lot of time and hustle by arranging a bus for us instead of taxis. -- The location is very central, few minutes walk to all attractions (Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Palace, Basilica Cistern, etc.) -- Generous, tasty breakfast. Unlike many other places, I was offered excellent Turkish coffee free of charge.

A Touch of Class! A Touch of Elegance! Beautiful remodeled Dining Room with food prepared by Nurcan was exceptional, the best healthy delicious food in the 23 countries we have visited. Rasit helped us locate a Dr/Clinic and booked a tour for us. His brother Mahmut helped with booking our flight and secured a ride to the airport with a very good safe driver. Both men were very kind and professional and went out of their way to help us. We ended us extending our stay 4 extra days. The multipurpose staff, like Housekeeping also helped in the kitchen/dining room. The hotel had an Elevator and our comfortable room had a Kettle and a Refrigerator. We absolutely loved our stay at Sultans Royal Hotel. The location was fabulous since it was within walking distance/very near the major historical sites and a couple small grocery stores and restaurants.

Bottom/1st Step at the entrance was a little uneven. Sidewalks in the area are very narrow.

This hotel is just in the perfect location when visiting Turkey.Close to many restaurants Mosque Sulton Ahmed Aya Sofia trams.The reception and cleaning staff are super welcoming and friendly!Room is nice clean.Breakfast every morning is something to look forward to.Quality food with a wide variation!

The hotel has and ideal location as evry thing close by walking. The hotel reception staff very friendly,helpful and attentive.

Great location, nice tiny room, clean linen and towels, regular cleaning, small fridge in the room. Nice breakfast, friendly staff.

It was a little bit noisy at night - sometimes motorcycles, sometimes people talking, dogs barking etc (though the hotel is located on a small rather quiet street). I can't refer it to hotel problems, but we couldn't keep the windows open. Though it is not necessary, the room has conditioning.

Location was great, walking distance to major landmarks and restaurants. Staff was very helpful and hospitable; we were upgraded to suite due to availability. Loved the breakfast and coziness of the small boutique style hotel. Hotel arranged the pickup and drop off to Airport for a reasonable price.

Hotel is rather small, and street was always congested, so don’t expect big lobby or any extravagant amenities, given its location, but more of a house like setting. Some of the furniture/mattress and room might need upgrades. AC is only in the rooms OnDemand, no central air throughout the building, very common though, so be ready in the summer days. Smoking is common in Turkey thus, expect inhaling of second hand smoke.

Staff were phenomenal, and they genuinely wanted us to have a great time int the city.

We didn't like that breakfast started at 8, would have preferred it to start earlier.

Great position of the hotel located in very beautiful and quiet neighborhood, yet in historical center, with all the historical sights very near/short walking distance from the hotel and also very close to the tram line which connects it to other parts of city. Excellent wi-fi. Special thanks to very kind, professional and helpful receptionists, who helped us with their accurate and clear explanations and recommendations about anything we asked, given that it was our first visit to Istanbul.

Breakfast is ok but more less basic, it could be a bit more varied. The rooms are small, so if you have a lot of baggage, you will have a problem to place it and then move around. Advice, don't bring big suitcases. But it is more than good value for money and I would certainly come again!
