Our recent stay at Union Hotel Port was elevated to unparalleled heights by the exceptional staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and professionalism, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience. The team went above and beyond to cater to our every need, ensuring that every moment of our stay was nothing short of perfect. Their hospitality was the highlight of our visit and will undoubtedly be the reason for our return.

Hotel stuff was always very polite and helped us with the luggage. Their service is available 24h in case you need anything in the middle of the night. Whenever we came back to the hotel from the city they offered us a cup of tea or coffee and even brought it to our room. Sam also gave us his own Istanbul city card to use for trains and his umbrella because it was raining. We have often exchanged money at the reception and the exchange rate was correct. When my partner had a sudden health problem and had to go to the emergency, they helped us, recommended the hospital, called a taxi for us and offered to assist us through the process as we don't speak Turkish. They can all speak English very well, and one older staff member even spoke German. This hotel is definitely worth your money and we can most sincerely recommend it. Sam we love you ♡

The location is amazing! Able to easily access the tram, ferry and metro. Very walkable location. The staff and the hospitality is outstanding. I’ve never felt better taken care of. They genuinely want you to have a great experience and will help you with whatever you need! From translating to making sure your not getting ripped off, and providing great recommendations the staff, location, and cleanliness of the hotel makes this an amazing value. Will be back for sure! Obviously not within their control but there is construction in the area. Personally but not that bothered by it.

This hotel has a perfect location because of the tram, which is 1 min to walk to. Taksim, Galataport and Tophane are also a few walking minutes away. If you want to see the asian side, there is also Kabatas Port 1 station with the tram, to take the ferry from there. The housekeeping was very good, very clean rooms. The hotel also offers free tea and coffee service. Our highlight was the hotel staff. Especially ATI & SAM were very caring. They are very talkative, helpful and you can always ask them for suggestions during your stay. Sam offered us literally evertime coffee and tea when he saw us in the lobby, which is also very cosy.

Our 10/10 comes from the very nice hospitality of the owner and staff of the hotel. We would especially thank Sam for the warm welcoming and care he showed us from the moment we arrived and throughout our stay in general. The service was great and you can expect a hotel where the hygiene is a high priority which is a must when traveling. The hotel has a good location with a two min. walk to the station and 10 min. walk to Galata Tower. We would definitely look forward to come back to Istanbul with Union Port Hotel in our minds and recommend our family and friends to stay here when visiting. Best regards, Zeliha & Sabah

The staff is very friendly and professional. They were welcoming and chatty. They often offered me Tea or Coffee every time I left the hotel in the morning, and even at night when I came back. They even gave me a nice small souvenir when I checked out. There are some constructions around the hotel so you might not get the best view, but the location itself is GREAT. It's only a few minutes walk from Kabataş station where you can take a direct tram to Taksim, or the T1 tram which takes you west to popular tourist attractions such as Sultanahmet, Hagia Sophia, and Grand Bazaar. The snack bar is relatively cheap compared to the other hotels I've been to.

Everything was the best . I experienced a warm and friendly welcoming at the first sight , they said: welcome to your new home and it was really like home till the rest of our stay. That was the reason that we add nights for 2 another weeks. Apart from good stay experience, the location of the hotel was perfect 🤩 you can easily access to train ,ferries and bus station. If you dont like to stay in hotels with a crowded nights life in taksim sq ,union hotel will be best for you ; it has a calm location and just 10 minutes walk to taksim sq or get in funicular which is a better way to go there. Every person who works there try to help and do they best for guest to solve the problems and good staying. they were lovely and really nice 😍. I wont forget their help during that stressful momments i had for my exam . Fantastic hotel with great value for money in close proximity to Taksim Square. The room exceeded my expectations and was exceptionally clean. The friendly reception topped off this great experience. Highly recommended!

so for the hotel early breakfast lovers - note, they don’t have breakfasts here , but they will order for you from outside.BUT as long as u r in Taksim, always better to go out and enjoy ur meal in Istiklal )for business people I think it’s a big point
