Location is great. AC working great.

Not very soundproof unfortunately. You can hear people walking around outside your room and talking from neighbouring rooms.

The supply of hot teas and instant coffee in the lobby was very thoughtful. Location was beautiful, small balcony with a great view. Very close but uphill to tram station. Very clean facilities, good water pressure and bathroom.

There was no breakfast which would have been a good add, but didn't take away from the experience of the stay.

Had a great stay at the Zem hotel, the staff were amazing and super kind; they even came to my room with a birthday cake with candles which was so unexpected but a lovely gesture that was appreciated. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family that want something clean, comfortable and efficient for discovering the city of Istanbul!

Walls were thin so I could hear everything from the rooms next door.

It's a relatively small hotel compared to the big chains, but I thought it was perfect. Its location is in a sort of tangle of small, twisty streets, but very close to the main historical sights like the Hagia Sophia and cisterns. I thought it was a great location, and you can't get lost with Google maps. - Also, the Wi-Fi was dependable in the shower was really nice. And though I didn't need it, the hotel is next to a laundromat. And the staff was friendly. Fancy shmancy? No. Good price and quality? Yes. I liked it.

Nothing significant. The rail that the shower door glides on was a bit loose. But that's more of an observation, not a complaint.

Im not good with names but all the crew was great i only remember ali the receptionist and another guy who checked us is they all where so polite and helpfull any question i had they answer me it was a good experiance i would deffinetly do it again .

I would like to add a small point about the walls between the rooms are thin everything can be heard from the other rooms this is tho only bad thing i had from the hotel all the rest was outstanding .

Great location. Little hard for transport drivers as road in this area are tight. They got us there and to the airport fine. Staff was wonderful and very helpful

As a digital nomad I faced difficulties to work from the room as there was only a small chair and you cannot work from the lobby, so if you are planning to mix city explore and working, you better check on working spaces nearby.

The staff at Zem Hotel are the nicest of any hotel I have ever stayed in. Making coffee for guests, booking airport taxis, they even brought me a pastry from the bakery on my first visit in December. I felt very comfortable as a solo traveller and booked another stay as a result. The location is very good, close to tourist sites in Sultanahmet. Rooms are clean, comfortable and some have lovely views of the sea. I can't fault this place.

This is a newly renovated hotel. It's off the main tourist strip, but close enough to walk to all the action. The bed and bathroom and nice. Strong AC. Good Wi-Fi. Don't skip the Sokollu Mehmet Pasha Mosque which is just a 3 minute walk away. It rivals some of Istanbul's big imperial mosques with its interior tile work and beauty!
