Location in sultanahmet, the hotel is just 6 min walking from T1 Cemberlitas that connects you to all the touristic places and the airport (IST) with the new metro line (M11 to Gayrettepe, M2 to Vezneciler and T1 to Cemberlitas). Walking distance to Hagia Sophia and Blue mosque. The street is quiet despite being near the main turistic area. Room was really comfy and clean. Good breakfast, we stayed 5 nights and we had different things every morning Nice staff. They had sim cards available in reception.

All together, we are 90% satisfied! It is so clean, and they clean the rooms perfectly. They have 4-star hotel-level bathroom accessories. A very good breakfast with a tasty black tee. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The room space is not like the pictures, it's a bit narrow, and the second room in the family suite does not have a closet. The family suite is located on the street-level floor. The location is not bad, but the accessibility is a bummer, be careful if you have knee or foot problems. Don't book a hotel in an area like the Sultanahmet (there are too many top and down hills)

need to walk a bit to get a taxi

Stayed in the family room with 4 adults, 1 infant and a baby, accommodation had 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, small hallway and one of the bedrooms had access to terrace area which was nice, location of hotel is okay, whilst it is walking distance to blue masjid there is a steep hill to climb, hotel breakfast was okey, I would say the hotel is more of a 3 star then 4 star, still decent as I got a good deal so was defiantly good value for money and would stay here again. Staff were always helpful.

Minor issues really, Road outside is narrow no where for taxi to park directly outside the hotel, hotel entrance has steps which is difficult if you have a wheelchair or stroller, baby pushchair and large suitcases, no ramp access. Alot of derelict old buildings around the hotel some with building works going on. Our room was on street level, not an issue for me but some may dislike. Breakfast more of a 3 start hotel could have better selection for breakfast items.

The property is in great condition very clean and modern. It is located in very good central very close to all the big sites like Blue mosque, haggia Sofia and all others. Very little walk to these attractions. Breakfast is 10/10, very modern and different varieties. Kitchen and Reception staffs are very helpful always ready to help you. Overall it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Kare Hotel. 10/10, I highly recommend Kare Hotel.

If you have young kids, then be mindful the roads are quite uphill around the hotel. So lots of walking up and down the hilly roads. We had 4 year old and 9 months old with us, pushing pram was a bit of an exercise 😅, but don’t let this put you off, it’s an amazing hotel, easily much better than some 5* hotel. ✅

The hotel was very close to the key attractions of Sultanahmet (some uphill to get there, but for us it was ok). Despite that, it was relatively quiet, we didn't have any problem sleeping. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and the shower also good. The breakfast was also very good, although it would be great if it started a little earlier (it's not different than all the other places we stayed in Turkey though). And there's an elevator (not always the case). The street is narrow but you can be dropped and picked up just in front of the hotel.

The only complaint we have is about the pillows. Each person had 2 pillows, one that was way too high and stiff, and another that was way too low and soft. Every morning we woke up with our necks a little sore because of that. Not a killer issue though, we would stay here again.

Very clean and modern hotel at a great location close to the major sites. The hotel I nterior is clearly newly renovated or built, love the marble floor and walls adding a feeling of luxury. The room is slightly small but enough for my partner and I. The sound isolation is amazing. Despite being in the room right next to the elevator on the first floor, we dont hear a single sound all night. Lastly the free breakfast is great! A lot of variety serving local Turkish breakfast, or hot food catering to the western taste, also traditional Turkey bread commonly found in traditional household. Every time we stepped out, there’s someone at the reception, making it super convenient whenever we need something like an iron or to book a taxi back to the airport.

Location is very close to Sultanahmet mosque, and to the tram stop. Rooms are clean, good choices of food for breakfast, nice staff, they helped us with ordering a taxi back to airport and helped with luggage.

The living room with sofa looked bigger on the photo, we were three adults in a two-rooms family suit. Bedroom size is good, but the "living room" size is almost twice less than the bedroom size. Only the extended sofa itself fits the living room and nothing else. Other than that, everything else was good. The hotel looks new, fast elevator, high quality toiletries, good shower equipment in the bathroom.

The location is great, it's close to a lot of attractions like Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, The Bazar etc. You have multiple transport options nearby and the Hotel does provide private parking but reservation is usually needed before arriving, in order to avoid moving other cars just to squeeze in the parking place. Nevertheless, the staff was very polite and helpful (it helped with the parking, with nearby attractions and with transport advice). The room was quite ok, cozy and clean. And the sound insulation was really good.

Some weird water dripping noises were coming from the walls from time to time, but nothing too loud. The card reader in the room malfunctioned sometimes and left us in complete darkness, but removing and reinserting the card did the trick. The ceiling had one corner a bit affected but nothing to worry about. Another thing, the room was a bit cold at times, and the heating unit was not working properly (only fan was working, not the whole AC, and there was no heat coming from it, only a gushes of "norma" wind. But overall we managed to sleep very well.

The property is great with all the places with in range of 10-20 mins of walk…! Rooms are decent, not very big but not very small either. The staff is great but I’d particularly like to mention that Engin took good care of us.. he helped us with our queries around sight seeing and whatever we asked for..!

The only negative aspect is highlighted by everyone that you have to walk a lot and the area is very steep. We had our 1 year old son and used baby carrier and stroller while going out.. it was a bit difficult to manage but since everything was nearby.. it was worth it..!
