Friendly staff. Huge rooms with loads of space, comfortable bed. Facilities like gym, hamam

The hinge of the bathroom door in my room was very creaky and the dustbin was not working well. Some days, the room was not tidied up properly. To go into the indoor pool, you need to have a hat or you will be made to buy one- maybe this should have been put somewhere so that guests will bring one along. In room dining - the food we ordered was the saltiest I have tasted so far in Istanbul, not great at all.

Food at sky fire was good, staff was nice, room was clean and the location was very good.

Room is very dark! Not enough light, so it’s not great when doing make-up. Check in is way too slow. Expect Atleast 30mins of waiting time, pillows for bed weren’t good atall and bed was uncomfortable

Very comfortable spacious boutique hotel centrally located. Close to waterfront and restaurants. Our room was very comfortable, clean and a good size. Bathroom had a lovely rain shower and was quite spacious. Staff were attentive - particularly in the sky restaurant which was a lovely place to go for a nightcap after dinner or even for dinner. The views were good and it was airy and guests tables were nicely spaced. On our departure day our flight didnt leave until late in the day, they kindly allowed us to stay in the club lounge until our departure.

Great location and the rooms are clean and well insulated

The staf in general are all pleasantly helpful; I was amazed by the professionalism of the reception personnel’s great attitude and manner specially Mrs PELIN who made feel like members of the hotel community . Demla whom joyed us with her smile, Kutay who did all he could to make us informative about the hotel and services, Berkin educated us about the old city and surrounding. Thanks to all

The hotel is well placed, lots of places to eat in walking distance, also the bazar, if needed. The rooms are nice, have space, toilet and shower are separated, really nice, the shower is big, enough for two. Internet is fast enough for work, the breakfast is not cheap, but excellent, you have juice, coffee, cereal, warm food, veggies, fruits, and its on the top floor, nice to sit outside and enjoy the morning. the gym is well equipped, can't handle too many people, but nice for some workout session.

Hotel prices are going up, also here, its not cheap, breakfast is expensive, make it count. room cleaning came for me at 6pm, which is a bit tricky, good news is, they came back later when you can leave for dinner.

The room was very spacious. The bathroom was designed like a hamam (Turkish Bath) which was amazing. Location was 5-15min walk to all attractions. Staff was super helpful on everything. Mert I believe his name was the gentleman checked us in had a smiley face and answered all our questions kindly.

We booked 2 adults and a 6-year-old child and again my son's bed was not done as we arrived. I called and they came to make the bed immediately, but this should be a standard practice for arriving families with kids.

My experience at Renaissance Hotel Izmir was wonderful! The check-in process was seamless, and the reception team's welcome made me feel right at home. The rooms and bathrooms were impeccably clean, and I appreciated the attention to detail in maintaining such high standards. One thing to note is that some bathrooms have glass screens. If you're traveling with children, it's a good idea to let the reception know your preference to avoid such room arrangements. However, this minor consideration was overshadowed by the top-class breakfast and the incredibly efficient breakfast team. The hotel's proximity to the main attractions was a major plus. One will enjoy the scenic ferry ride from Passaport, just a 5-minute walk from the hotel, to explore the other side of Izmir. The abundance of nearby restaurants and cafes added to the convenience and charm of the location. Of course, it's wise to check reviews of these dining options beforehand. All in all, my stay at Renaissance Hotel Izmir was nothing short of a 5-star experience. The combination of excellent service, thoughtful amenities, and a prime location truly made it a memorable stay.

Really good hotel with many facilities, such as pool, spa and fitness. The staff was really nice and accommodating. You were greeted with a smile every time. The breakfast was good with different food and good service. Their employee named Ilgin was very service minded and always made sure we didn’t lack anything. 10 stars for him!

The location of the property is very convinient. It is very clean and modern. Breakfast has a lot of choices.

The bathroom facilities in the room are not very convinient. It's half open, so if you switch the light there in the night, it wakes up another person. Also the shampoo has not ben refilled and after we mentioned it, it has been replaced with a second bottle of conditioner.

Everything was excellent, we came based on the recommendations of our friends and the hotel was amazing. Clean, tidy, helpful cheerful staff!

We were on our honeymoon and we were hoping for any special treats or discounts during our stay, other than that everyone was super!
