The rooms view was on a lot of cigarettes on the gravel roof. Not the best. Gym is bit small and machines are close together. Almost no floorspace...but...nice there is a gym anyway. Only after checking in I found out about the sauna opening times starting from 16:00. And there is a seperate ladies and gentlemen sauna. The reason I booked the hotel was the plan to sport and go in sauna in the morning.

The room for wheelchair-users was very spacious and well thought-out, the bed was comfortable and the right height for transfer. The bathroom had grab rails, lowered basin, and the cleanliness was very good. I found the reception staff very friendly, especially the guy who checked me in, and the breakfast staff were very helpful. Hotel is in a nice area, next to a square and some lovely little parks, also a small shopping mall with a supermarket.

A non-slip rubber mat in the bathroom would be very useful for wheelchair-users or the elderly as the floor was quite slippery.

I have to say that the best from that hotel is the location, as it is in the center of Malmo and at 10 min walking to the Central Station (very comfortable if you travel with train and airplane, like we did), but this is not unique. The unique and really surprising was the breakfast - it was really good and was extended to 11h. We were very happy we can rest a bit more in the morning, after whole day walking. Also the staff is friendly and they have a luggage room which we used both on arrival and departure.

Breakfast was awesome. So many varieties. Simply superb.

One problem faced was - they didn't accept payment in cash. I had to face lots of trouble to organise SEK currency in India so that I can pay in cash at the hotel. It was mentioned in booking.com confirmation that so much SEK has to be paid at the property. It wasn't mentioned that cash won't be accepted and all payments have to be made through Credit Card. I think it's important that this information is clearly mentioned in booking confirmation which would save lots of inconvenience of customer.

Breakfast was awesome. Over weekend, there was a line for coffee which was a little annoying and can simply be fixed by adding more coffee machines. The location is the best. The staff are super friendly and accommodating and do their best to make you feel like being at home.

The room is okay. I was expecting a small mini-fridge like you see in most hotels in the U.S. But there was none and it was a little annoying to go down to the lobby to get ice couple times a day to keep your food/beverages cold.

-The breakfast was amazing! They have so many options. Do yourself a favor and try their meatballs! -The location was perfect. It is close to the main attractions and station since it is in the center of the city. -Staff was very friendly.

The room was way smaller than what we saw in the pictures. For this time of the year, it was very very hot in there and we had to sleep with the windows open and they don’t even open half way. It took us by surprise how strict they were about the check out time, but I guess that’s how it is.

Lovely hotel and staff. Brilliant location right in the centre of Malmo. Rooms spacious, very quiet and good view of a central square. Breakfast superb and set us up for the day.

That we didn’t stay long enough. There was nothing I didn’t like and I will be looking to stay in Scandic hotels going forward (we are already staying in a Scandic in Gothenburg and also Olso if I can book it).

The staff were pleasant, the location was great.

You have to book for breakfast. We arrived quite late and didn’t realise that by the early morning all of the slots had been booked, which was a bit frustrating on that first day. But the rest of the week went well.

Hotel is nice, breakfast is good. The rooms were cold and chilly. When hotel is crowded better to use the stairs and elevators take forever. The hotel is very nice and centrally located and perfect for visiting Malmo. They just need NEW reception staff and everything should be OK.

Reception and key handling and check-in and check-out was a DISASTER. Never Scanic again just because of this lady at reception. She was horrible, we're there one night for New Years and she makes my best friends wait 2 hours in the lobby for room.

Breakfast was great, lovely selection of bread and cold cuts, staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. The disabled room was perfect with plenty of space and a very comfortable bed. Situation in Malmo was also very good, with many eating places nearby and green spaces.

I was happy with everything.
