I'd known Sofitel through its great rooftop bar/restaurant but had never stayed here. It met my expectations as one of the top hotels in the city. The rooms are large and tastefully deocracted with the latest tech, the staff/service excellent, the pool area roomy with great afternoon sun. The hotel is also conveniently located within walking distance of the BTS, MRT and Terminal 21, a nice mall (with a direct entrance to the elevated walkway when its raining).

For families with children the area around the hotel may not be appropriate as it's in the middle between two of the city's red light districts. That said its safe, relatively clean and there are lots of nice restaurants and bars nearby. The pool area is nice but the pool itself needs renovation soon. The bathroom is well appointed except for the decision to put the toilet area itself into a tiny cubicle. The hotel is also not cheap and for a bit more one could stay at one of Bangkok's most exclusive hotels

Location was great! They provided a flyover to connect to the BTS station. An ipad is provided at the room to control everything, which was quite convenience for the people who likes the high-tech devices. Breakfast buffet was as good as before.

We have stayed at this hotel before 2019 about 3-4 times. We came again to this hotel since 2019. We found the hotel has been "Renovated". The size of the room, beds, toilet, bathtub were all became smalller. Pillows were too soft for us. I need to use two pillows. The size of the toilet was too too too small. The flash button of the toilet was too sharped, everytime when I pushed the button I need to take more caution on it!

Exceptional location and the hotel I choose to stay nearly every trip to BKK. The staff are always great and super friendly.

The hotel was at capacity (first time I’d stay there when this has happened) and you could tell it was at peak. Both days my room still hadnt been cleaned/made up until after 3pm and the breakfast was absolute chaos ! The staff handled it was well as possible but you could certainly feel their pressure and stress. Saying they the stay as always, was perfect !

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sofitel hotel and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism welcomed by beautiful MIRA she went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were incredibly spacious and beautifully designed. The bed was extremely comfortable, making it hard to leave in the morning. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a well-equipped gym and a fantastic onsite restaurant. I highly recommend the Sofitel if you're looking for a truly luxurious experience.

reception does not have international card machine My Mauritius credit card did not work in your card machine and thus i had to remove money daily on the ATM to pay hotel in cash. My Daily limit of cash removal was 20,000 only. For each withdrawal i was charged a fees on the cash machine.

Gym equipment and staff great, always enjoy to come back here for exercize.👍🏻 Spa also 5*, interiour design and staff are excellent, though the prices are a little bit to high, but will come back again for sure. Lounge on 31' floor so nice, enjoyed working there evrry day while zipping on a yummy mocktail, enjoying yummy Thai and international food. Staff 100% professional, well trained, charming and funny too. Happy to see you again khun GIFT 😊

Dear Sirs, may I suggest, when your staff bring 'welcome fruit platter' to my room, please bring some Thai fruit like watermelon, pineapple, mango (Durian - aroi mak, but not hom 555). When foreign guest come to Thailand, they are happy to enjoy local food and fruit. If you bring apple, banana, pear...this is boring, everybody know from home country. 😃 So please change and share delicious Thai fruit when welcoming your guests. Khob khun krub.

The breakfast was amazing although a little hectic, the staff were very attentive.

The surrounding area where the hotel is located is a busy place, typical night life of Sukumvit rd. the beggars (children) and the night workers aplenty disturbed a bit. although this is a normal night scene you can expect from Bangkok.

The hotel rooms are clean, bright and comfortable. The space is reasonable and sufficient and well furnished. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, very supportive and professional to the extent that they go extra mile to make your stay enjoyable and unforgettable

Amazing hotel and service provided from start to end. Upon check in, Mira, gave some suggestions on where to visit, what to eat and where to sight see around Bangkok and the hotel. She then showed me to my room and explained everything in the room. Thank you Mira for the great suggestions and hospitality. The room is great with the most comfortable bed and extra pillows that you can order from the menu. Their turndown service is amazing as well, with a flower on the pillow and complimentary tea. Entertainment services are vast - Netflix, Bluetooth, YouTube, Prime which can be connected via the iPad in the room. The services provided in the hotel are amazing, the concierge team are always helpful and go above and beyond to help you out! From helping you with your luggage to flagging a cab for you. They always greet you which I find to be extremely welcoming and hospitable. Special thanks to Trai, Tony, Tui, Tee, Toto, Boy, Natty, Kiki and Kevin for the amazing service! 10/10 would recommend this hotel stay for anyone!

Need to have some coffee outside if there is, Ihope you will pay attention to the coffee shop, especially since the place is suitable to be an outdoor coffee shop with lights and music that will attract residents and tourists on the way.
