Me and my family had the most incredible 10-night stay at the Metropolitan hotel, and it was an experience we’ll never forget! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. We checked it earlier than we expected the staff Yuki and Meena made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm hospitality and quick check-in process. They went out of their way to assist us and got us a room as quick as they can. The room was clean, comfortable, and very well-maintained. I would like to say a huge thanks to Yuki she really made us feel at home and her service was excellent and she was super welcoming. Me, my husband and my kids especially my daughter were very fond of her service and she went above and beyond to assist us. She really made my daughter’s birthday special and I don’t think she’ll ever forget that experience. Thanks to her if we visit Dubai again we will be coming to stay at Metropolitan hotel and recommending the hotel to all our friends and family. I would also like to give thanks to Manager: Mr Anir and Captain: Jijith and all the other staff Anju, Rahma, Rumene, Joanna, Christian, Caroline, Erika and Honey for their outstanding customer service. Whenever I came to eat with my family for breakfast they were exceptional — so polite, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The staff were very attentive and friendly, ensuring a warm welcome and great hospitality. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options suitable for adults and kids. There were times during my stay when I had to order room service or required assistance. Caroline was very prompt with her service and went out of her way to help us and she’s incredibly welcoming and always ready to help. I would also like to mention I had an amazing time using the courtyard downstairs. Whenever I felt like going for a quick break and indulging in a hot drink and enjoying Sheesha.

Everything was superb

I rarely stay in a 4-star hotel so this was a real treat; you realise it is not just the superior decor and fittings and dining areas and the pool that make it an outstanding experience - it is also the calibre of the staff. From the moment I entered the lobby I was attended to by first class concierges and porters to a friendly reception attendant and then shown my room where even the cleaning staff give a cheery hello in the corridor. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it to anyone visiting Dubai

The shuttle bus to the beach and city is not often enough and because the train station is 1km walk away it needs a frequent shuttle bus for that even.

I am usually very fussy about the hotels and never leave reviews but to my surprise this was but a great place. The positives were: 1) All staff were very polite and helpful especially osama and waqar from reception and michael from concierge. 2) The place was very clean 3) There was a great variety of foods in breakfast buffet 4) It was a very family friendly hotel e.g. the food options, swimming pool, Tv channels 5) The location was awesome- only minutes away from local amenities and places such dubai mall, jumairah beach etc 6) The price was affordable and worth the money

The staff were extremely helpful. Kamal guided us very well and gave us good dates. The concierge services were extremely efficient and all the staff attended to all our needs in timely manner.

Considering the hotel only has two floors the windows should be cleaned.

The room was nothing special, but good enough. I had better for better price when previously in Dubai though.

The cleaning was not to standards, there were hairs in the shower walls, inside furnitures, carpet was not clean, had stains and dirt near the furniture. Staff in general were not very helpful, when I needed information or when I couldn't find my room. Also housekeeper disposed food that was not supposed to be thrown. And the receptionist called me rushing me 1 minute past 12pm for check-out, not nice. Need to improve on the guest treatment.

They were gracious to allow me work undisturbed with a 10hrs WIFI accommodation at the lobby Cafe till i was close to my departure hour. That allowed me avoid hussle & unconfortable stay at the airport.

The scent that gets blown out of a gadget in the corridors between the rooms. I get headache out of that if smell gets intensive. That is everywhere in hotels in the middle east, not a unique condition here. Scent can also be adictive & dangerous depending on the ingredients that are blown. I think i have to live with that till the message is everywhere that scent is not necessarily what people think of it.

If I book again in this hotel, it is all because of Mr. Kamal ( reservation ) because of his good manners and his way of speaking. He has a beautiful skill in dealing and describing what is related to the hotel. His welcome was very nice to me and my family. I recommend everyone to book and deal with him. The rooms are very beautiful and clean.

Nothing i didnt like everything i like

It was really wonderful from all aspects. I enjoyed my room that was overlooking Burj El Arab and has everything I needed. Was exceptionally clean and quiet. The staff were all very devoted for my comfort and happiness. Smiling and helpful all the time. Food was varied and really tasty and of high quality. Also the location was great and easy to reach. All in all I had a wonderful time in Metropolitan Hotel 👍🏻. It’s highly recommended 👍🏻

Otherwise, the hotel is great for any recommendation

We have never in our life experienced that we have to book a bed for 2 adults and 2 children aged 17 and 14, to come and in the end they give you a room with a large double bed, where they ask you separately for extra payment for the children for the beds. Why then do they ask for the age of the children? when there is no logic for children of the mentioned age to sleep with you of course.

The quality of the accommodation totally exceeded our expectations. The staff were attentive and gave excellent service throughput the hotel. The standards of cleanliness were impeccable and the daily room cleaning and bed make up were beyond reproach. Although the hotel is located right next to a six lane highway this did not impact on our room with regards to noise due to the excellent sound insulation. The location of the hotel is very convenient for all areas of the city. The staff in all areas of the hotel were exceptional and they all gave us a warm welcome and exceptional service. We rented car during our stay and the hotel offered valet parking the cost of which was included in the room price.

There was nothing to dislike.
