I booked a golf course room, the view was absolutely stunning. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, though it would be nice to see some more variety in the buffet. The staff was exceptional, truly helpful and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of the stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I appreciated the hotel’s central location, which provided convenient access to all major roads.

I wish the room had been a bit more spacious. The closet was quite small, even for one person, and I didn’t like its dual access design, with one side opening to the bathroom. This allowed steam, moisture, and odors to enter, affecting the clothes inside.

We’ve been regular visitors to Dubai for 20 years but only discovered the Vida two years ago. The golf view suites are absolutely superb for us as a family with one young son - huge, well equipped and quiet, not to mention exceptional value. The pool is great, breakfast is lovely - special mention to Irene who greeted us with a beautiful smile every morning on our recent stay. This is a fantastic boutique style hotel which is also in a great location for easy access to the marina, the Palm and Jumeirah Beach, but at a far more competitive price than most of the hotels.

Perfect location for us - near friends and family and also golf courses. Good freshly cooked breakfast offering. Rooms a decent size and comfortable with both bath and shower. We had a corner room with a small balcony which we liked although it is a bit close to the road.

The pool is largely in shade for most of the day except either one end or the other. Service around the pool and on the terrace is very slow to non-existent. You can sit for ages and no one comes, then it takes an age to serve two drinks!

Excellent business facilities because I had to work while here. Really large and spacious. Smaller meeting rooms can be booked but are chargeable. Lovely gym although I didn't get to use it. The gym has saune and steam room which you are allowed to use too. The pool is really good but does get shaded that side of the building after about 3pm. I was fasting and my breakfast was replaced with a very good suhoor meal. Fantastic location, 15 min walk to metro, taxis always readily available. Because Vida also has 4 residence buildings attached there's a good geant supermarket, beauty salon. Try and get golf view rooms, it is worth it for the extra, lovely open views and large rooms very comfy bed. . We were in a suite and still surprised by how large it was. The Internet facilities are great. Check in was smooth, staff very friendly and welcoming and always tried to go above and beyond.

Room wasn't cleaned as well as it should have been and we had to ask every couple of days for basic hoovering to be done! Pillows were a little puffy for me, but that's a personal thing obviously.

Nothing to complain about

I couldn't have asked for a better stay in Dubai. I was there for work on a big deadline and ended up staying 21 nights instead of just 12 nights. It felt like a home away from home. The service was exceptional, be it from the room service personelle, the pool, or the staff at the door or reception. The hotel smells fabulous, is super clean, provides a delicious breakfast, has great meals for kids (with funny names attached to them), doormen are extremely friendly and courteous and a special shoutout to Smith who always greeted me with a big smile and helpd me. The room itself had a gorgeous view of the beautiful infinity pool with my desk facing that view while I worked. It was super quiet and everytime housekeeping cleaned it, it would smell heavenly. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Dubai. Receptionists were extremely helpful and accommodating while I extended my stay three times. They made sure I was always taken care of. Doormen made sure I had a ride to the airport and that I didn't forget anything in the room before leaving. Thank you for making me feel like I'm home and for providing exceptional service at a decent price. A true gem in the heart of Dubai.

Absolutely nothing. I loved everything about this hotel. I stay in a lot of hotels around the world and this was truly a stay I'll never forget.

It was our third stay at this hotel and we still rate the staff highly. Tariro at the reception, Ni and Sakthi in the restaurant, but also everyone else, were very pleasant and professional. After the room was cleaned, the supervisor came to ask if everything was okay. Good breakfast with the option of choosing from the buffet and/or a la carte. Nice pool, it was heated in January. While during our last stay the complimentary drinking water to the rooms was delivered in plastic bottles, now it was already in reusable glass bottles that were sealed with a sticker with the filling date. "That's one small step for the hotel, one giant leap for ecology".

My negative comments do not mean dissatisfaction. They serve as feedback to improve services... Even on our third visit, the hotel required full payment at check-in and also a deposit for possible consumption in the restaurant. I am not used to such distrustful hotel policy in a hotel of this category. We have already discovered minor technical deficiencies in the room (the lamp on the table was not lit, the shower holder was loose, the hinged door on the cabinet could not be closed...) The terrace of the restaurant has a roof made of wooden slats, on which birds sit and several times they hit us and other guests with their excrement.

We had many requests on our booking and all were happily met, Checkin process was smooth and respectful considering our booking was cancelled in the system and a good clean room was given. A special thanks to the front desk agent Tamir and Sourach for assisting with a later checkout time, considering we didn’t get enough time in the room. We look forward to seeing the team again!

Room service took extremely long; I waited almost an hour just for a bucket of ice and two classes, had to call back to check in the request. Food could be way more flavourful, and midnight options could be better; unfortunate that there is no club sandwich.

My husband and I came to Vida in emirates hills with our kitten (Toasty) to celebrate his birthday. I cannot tell you how accommodating the property is to pets it’s just a perfect place to have your furry ones with you. The in-room dining was excellent and had variety to pick and choose from - this isn’t the case with many hotels nowadays. We ended up losing our kittens bandana in the hotel and they managed to find it and contact us! Thank you to the reception team, housekeeping and in room dining (chefs and service team) for making my husbands 31st birthday a special one !

One comment that could be improved is the crows by the pool area !! The pool facility is great but slightly overrun by crows… I can imagine that’s a point that the service team struggle with on a daily bases especially since there is bites/ food by the pool which attract them even more so.

The hotel is modern, neat and very clean. Exudes a very upmarket vibe. The rooms are quite spacious with an updated feel and cleanliness. One of the better TV’s provided (vs other hotels), connects easily with all major apps and access. We were given a room upgrade as this was the first time staying in the hotel - nice touch! Staff friendly and welcoming.

Restaurant menu is lacking options. A long wait for check in as only one staff member was at the counter.
