Best place we've stayed in for a long time. Room was spotless & immaculate, really comfy bed, perfect temperature in the room, beautiful bathroom with a shower to die for, in fact I'd go back there just to use the shower!! Huge coffee cups, they're usually tiny, and packs of Border Biscuits, nothing but the best!! I had a mix up with an appointment in the afternoon so emailed Saturday morning asking if there was any chance we could check in early, it wasn't a problem to them, got a message at 1.25 saying our room was ready, excellent service!! And of course so very central, everything is on your doorstep.

Nothing!!!

The location was excellent - very handy for the centre of the city. Our room was beautifully quiet, facing the back. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Very nice bathroom. The heating worked well and was controllable and the window opened for fresh air. The only staff member we saw was a cleaner - she was friendly and pleasant.

The room was rather small - there was one chair provided, but not really anywhere to sit (the chair 'lived' in the bottom of the open shelving/wardrobe and there wasn't much space at one side of the bed. It is stated that it's a four star hotel and that is not the case. The sign for the hotel was only visible when walking along the street from one direction so we walked past it at first.

Great central location. Warm room with comfortable bed & great shower. Space to hang clothes, a few drawers provided, hairdryer provided, ample tea & coffee amenities, great wee bedside lamps. Wide enough space around the bed to walk freely.

Had requested twin beds but instead was a large double. It was still comfortable but my friend who I was travelling with is very restless at night so I felt disturbed by her tossing+turning which wouldn’t have happened if it was a twin room. Also, the toilet flush is very loud & has a whistling noise which lasts for a minute or two after flushing and so we couldn’t flush it during the night for waking each other up as well as the other residents.

Location was absolutely amazing. Smack dab in the middle of town so perfect for everything in town. Room was immaculate and very well stocked, Nice and cozy too after a cold trip out in the town. Check in was very smooth and easy to do too! The cafe below the hotel is owned by different people now but they were still very welcoming and I visited quite a few times!

I don't have much at all that I could really complain about. The only thing if i was to nitpick was that there was only firm pillows available. I'm more of a soft pillow person, so it would be nice to have a soft pillow set just in the wardrobe or something? It wasn't a dealbreaker though!

Very conveniently located, very clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. An ideal overnight stay in the city.

Parking! The “recommended” car park was a complete disaster! Scarily decrepit and max parking time 14 hours which was useless for an overnight stay! We then spent a stupid amount of time trying to find an alternative- which with one way streets; road closures; parking places being for max 2 hours; onsite signage contradictory to online info…. gave rise to great frustration and a v poor initial impression of Aberdeen! A reliable parking recommendation would have avoided this trauma! We ended up at the Station car park which was remarkably reasonable (£10 for 24 hours - but could have been £7 if had known to go up to level 9 or above) - and would have been easy to find. Fortunately we enjoyed the rest of our stay

The location is fantastic! Although we didn't see the staff there was very good communication before and during our stay. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Would highly recommend the Coffee House Hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we are ever in Aberdeen.

Minor issue was that we didn't realise we were above a ?dance/gym studio with a class at just after 6am.

Hotel was well located within the city centre. Hotel is very small with a total of 7 rooms which means you hardly hear anyone going about. The check in process was made easy as explained prior to visiting due to there not being any staff there through out the day.

Due to the hotel being located near bars with live music playing until 3am in the morning, this could be heard from the hotel room. The room could be doing with a new touch of paint as walls were scuffed and looking a bit tired.

lovely room! loved the mattress! very firm & comfy. bed was made daily which we didn’t expect - absolute plus! tea & coffee corner was filled up every day, too! several hangers for clothes. bathroom wasn’t big but had everything you needed. perfectly located! easy to get to from the train/bus station. many buses close by (we took one to the Highlands). only a few minutes walk to many shops, bars, restaurants. we even walked to the beach. surprisingly silent at night even though there are many bars around! we got there early and were able to leave our stuff until check in! shout out to the cleaning lady who was so very lovely!

there was some mold in the shower which should be taken care of. other than that, it was great!

It was clean with a modern shower, which worked well. There was a cafe right underneath the hotel. Very good instructions on how to get into the hotel. It is right in the centre of the town.

There were stairs to go to the room. This is not easy when you have bad knees. There was no parking so had to walk 10 minutes to the car park. Ended up paying a £60 fine because the ticket machine wasn't working properly. No ticket was issued to display on the windscreen of the car.

Location was excellent. Staff answered all questions quickly and with an aim to be helpful and welcoming. We felt taken care of and watched out for.

1)Don’t laugh but…. The shower was confusing. Once I figured out how NOT to turn on the jets(?), it was an awesome bathing experience. 2)Didn’t realize how close we were to a nightclub. It was loud and the happy screaming voices went late into the night. I was young and loud once upon a time so perhaps it was karma? 😉
