The hotel rooms overlook the ocean and a small beach that was wonderful to wander up and down on. At night, we could hear the waves rushing ashore. Breakfast and dinner, we ate at the restaurant that is part of the hotel and it was AMAZING. Staff was friendly, took a moment to chat when possible and took care of us wonderfully. When parking proved a bit difficult (small parking lot shared between hotel guests and restaurant patrons as well as staff with no street parking permitted by law), the owner moved her own car to create space for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at this location (we were traveling all across the UK for a 4 week honeymoon).

This is nothing the hotel owner has any control over but as mentioned above, parking is very limited in the area and street parking is not permitted by law.

Seafront with nice sea views. Comfortable room. Nice food in the restaurant. Pleasant staff

There were a couple of miscommunications. They hadn't responded to my advance booking request and therefore we didn't have a table reservation.they said they don't always receive messages through b.com, although we'd receive an automated response. Luckily they were able to fit us in, as the restaurant was very busy The service in the restaurant was also a bit hit and miss. For example our food order arrived before our drinks and a dessert was left waiting on the counter for a long time before it was delivered.

Right by a lovely beach and all rooms have a sea view. Everything you need is there. I’d love to just get in the car again and roll up for a relaxing break - with food being served and toiletries provided, you can actually just come as you are

A little bit of mould I the shower. It would have been great to have a hose by the Dog Bar to wash the sand off the dogs. The shower down by the beach is really difficult to use with dogs as you need an arm to keep it pressed on, and another to hold the dogs, so you can’t really get them clean.

The location of the pub is amazing!! we actually watched dolphins from the terrace dining area. All the staff were so friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. The room we had looked straight onto the bay and had a small balcony. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was always hot water.

We didn’t really find anything to dislike except perhaps for the guest entrance which was a steep staircase outside the building but it was always possible to go in and out through the pub which is easy.

Beautiful location right by the beach. Hayley was the perfect host. Lovely breakfast and reasonable food menu for an evening meal.

We were lucky to park. When you book a table for food you have to vacate so then struggle to be able to have a drink seated elsewhere. Expensive drinks. No simple lunchtime menue with sandwitches for example, we arrived but didn't want a big meal at 1.30pm when we were booked for food at 6.30pm. I wouldn't attempt to stay in peak season. Also, hospitality tray very poor, two teabags for two people for two nights not enough!!

The warm welcome from all the staff that we immediately received, The whole ambience was just a friendly happy atmosphere, Lovely open fire that was constantly maintained, Shown to our room which was lovely, Neve (I’m sorry if that’s spelt wrong),even helped us with our luggage, Room was spotless and had a lovely tea tray too, All the meals we had were lovely and served with a smile and super friendly. We went away for my birthday and one of the bar tenders (I’m so sorry I didn’t get your name), brought us a drink for my birthday, literally made my day, what a lovely thoughtful gesture, You can’t beat the customer service we received throughout our stay, made even better by the lovely conversations we had with them, Such a lovely team and it’s clear to see how much work you all put in to making our stay the absolute pleasure it was. Keep being your wonderful selves and concentrate on all the positive feedback you receive because positivity is all you all deserve, massive thank you 🙂

Well unfortunately there was a huge negative that we couldn’t really ignore, And that was that we had to check out and go home 🤣🤣🤣

Fabulous location, a minutes walk from the beautiful beach. Very friendly service received throughout (a special thanks to the lovely Hayley!) and really dog friendly. Food and service in the restaurant was fab. Lovely big room with a great sea view!

A minor niggle but the whole hotel is in need of an upgrade decor wise as it’s all a bit dated. For the price paid, think this needs upgrading.

Great location for a hideaway trip to chill out. Friendly and helpful staff - even handling a flood! Good range of drinks (only 1 real ale though) and food was popular for a quiet midweek. It’s a Marstons house, which has been refurbed, so room was better than expected for an old inn. I could latch the window and hear the waves crashing on the beach!

There is very limited parking space, because of the location. There are 2 sets of stairs to the rooms, which are both quite steep, so quite awkward when carrying bags.

Hotel clean, very comfortable and in a lovely location right on the beach. Rooms are well decorated and stylish and the bed was really comfy. We had a fabulous sea view from our balconyvroom. Food at the hotel was really good and reasonably priced. All that could be said of loads of hotels.. what sets this one apart is the staff. From the moment we arrived we felt genuinely welcome, the team were warm, friendly and professional and went out of their way to give fantastic service. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back. Thank you.

Nothing. Parking is tight, just a few spaces, but priority is given to hotel residents and the staff team made sure we got a space.

Staff were friendly, Service second to none, comfortable clean room with superb views. Food and drink in restaurant excellent. Both Falling asleep and waking to sound and great views of sea.

The rooms are only accessed by steep stairs within the building and also outside metal open sided stairs when the main building is closed. The outside stairs spooked my dog initially but he did get used to them thankfully.
