Staff very helpful. Location good. Food in restaurant good, although if we had arrived later the service would have been very slow.

Cleanliness of room. Waste bin had not been emptied, however staff rectified immediately it was mentioned. Sanitizer stations were all empty and none in the room. Very little vegetarian options on restaurant menu and no vegan options.

Location was great for us . Arrived much later than we anticipated due to lorry fire on M6 . Phoned to cancel dinner reservation and staff kindly offered to read us menu over phone so we could have something when we arrived which was very kind . Breakfast was luvly and plenty on offer . Gentleman clearing up was very efficient clearing tables quickly . Room was nice and clean and very comfy bed .

Only small point reception staff we’re in uniform , staff on bar at night and lady who booked us in at breki were in jeans which spoiled image of hotel . ( I don’t mind jeans but it didn’t tie in with hotel . )

The staff were competent and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were more than satisfying. The entire hotel was beyond average and in accordance with the additional price that we paid.

The location was quiet, but the tourist hotspots were situated elsewhere, that is to say, in Oxford. However, when making use of public transportation, the train to Bath, Bristol and even London leaves from Didcot Parkway station that can easily be reached by a bus that runs regularly.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Very nice atmosphere in the hotel. Limited food choice, but of good quality.

Doors slamming in the very early hours interrupted sleep. Attention needs to be paid to the door closing mechanisms. Considerable variation in the room charge from one night to the next in the same room.

I don't usually leave reviews but I will make an exception because I had such a great experience there! Check-in: I only stayed at the Courtyard for 1 night for a friend's wedding, and I checked-in at around 7 pm that day. The check-in was extremely smooth done by Rebecca who worked at the front desk. Rebecca was very personable and hospitable. She asked how was my trip to the hotel, and we made small talks about how I haven't seen some of the people at the wedding for more than 10 years. She also patiently explained me what facilities there were in the hotel, the various breakfast options, as well as transportations to the wedding venue. Moreover, that day was also my birthday, and they were nice enough to give me a complimentary drink at the bar! Cheers! The room: It's quiet, clean, and tidy with blackout curtains. The beautiful view is a plus! Facilities: I only got to use the pool table, bar, and restaurant at the lobby. The drinks were great (although I hope they can also serve more complicated drinks like Old Fashion), and the food was great too. Check-out: Check out was smooth as well. I put my luggage in the baggage room before I left for the wedding. However, it was impossible to call a taxi due to the weekend, and taxis are very limited in the small town. Please also note that all the car service apps don't work there. We spent more than 30 minutes trying to get a cab but with no luck. As I thought I was going to have to miss the last train back to London, Dan who was working in the lobby was able to hook me up with a car! Dan the man. Courtyard hotel is nice, but what makes customers come back are the amazing staff they hired like Rebecca and Dan, which made my trip unforgettable and awesome. I hope Marriott could put them into higher management positions so that they can train more people to be as passionate as them. I would DEFINITELY stay with Courtyard Oxford South by Marriott again! Overall, super great experience.

Excellent staff, really friendly and professional. Especially Ellie and Kathy on reception and the duty manager Cipriano. Restuarnt staff friendly and responsive too. Room larger than I expected with comfortable bed, desk, iron and proper wardrobe. Definitely felt a notch or two above the standard business type hotels.

Would have been nice to have had a Nespresso machine rather than sachests of Nescafe.

Modern and large rooms, all tastefully decorated. Nice bar area. Good size carpark and lots of EV charging available nearby. Nice breakfast. Lovely hotel

Stains on carpet in 2 of rooms. Not great pastry selection at breakfast. One lift out of order so long wait for the other one often. Could do with a magnifying mirror in the bathroom.

Clean, good location, friendly staff.

Check your bill carefully as we only had breakfast once during our stay but they added breakfast taken for 3 mornings to the bill. Also we were quoted 3 different prices for breakfast and given a finish time of 9am 9.30 and 10 am by staff.

Very clean and excellent location as it was only 5 mins drive from Asda and it was super quite & view was also fab. All staff were friendly but i would like to mention Charlotte as she was in contact with me prior to our stay and make sure our stay was special & memorable. We got a surprise gift & our room was upgraded without any extra cost and also breakfast was added to the booking without any cost. The lady at the reception was also extra nice but I just can not remember her name.

The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful. We enjoyed that there was a fitness centre. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and the food was amazing for both meals, lots of choice and really well cooked and flavourful food.

The location wouldn't be ideal without a car, if wanting to visit Oxford there are more conveniently located options.
