Excellent cooked full English breakfast, tasty and beautifully presented. The bed and breakfast was fairly fully booked, so we had to wait for a second sitting, but knew that in advance. It meant we could linger a little.

Caroline was lovely, and very responsive to our need to drop our bags and head out for dinner. Everything was just as advertised and we were very comfortable. The only negative was that we could not easily access wifi, probably because there is not good reception in the village anyway and the accommodation was full.

This place is fantastic. It's in a little village 2 miles away from Andover. Easy to find with plenty of parking. The room was spacious with a well equipped hospitality tray and TV. There is WiFi and a hairdryer if you need one. The bathroom had toiletries and a very large fluffy towel. Even though it faces the main road into the village but it is very quiet. Breakfast was plentiful, and I had a full English on both mornings. I'm booking again for next month.

My room was not en-suite, just a private bathroom that required stepping into the passage and back into the bathroom next door. I was expecting this and it was fine but some may not like it. Most rooms appear to be en-suite though so be careful when you book if this is important to you.

My second stay at Cleaver Cottage and just as relaxing and enjoyable as the first. Although the purpose of my visits is to visit my mother in Basingstoke, I would rather travel the extra few miles to stay at Cleaver Cottage here I know I will be comfortable. I will definitely be staying again when I next visit.

Comfy bed, fantastic cooked breakfast, with a nice strong pot of coffee, no better way to start the day.

Would have liked an on suite room, especially when having to get up in the middle of the night to use the facilities ( worried that unlocking and re locking the bedroom door would wake other people) knowing that not all rooms have an un suite bathroom in future I will request this on booking. it will not put me off staying again.

Was only staying 1 night on route from relatives but very pleasant overnighter Spacious & comfortable room. Breakfast was plentiful & delicious.

Sadly I was staying during the bad weather of rain & high winds & that affected their router so I couldn't take advantage of the free wifi.

Good seating in room and helpful hosts. Easy off road parking. Shared table at breakfast was a definite icebreaker.

Not much storage space and country lane outside was surprisingly busy and noisy. A soap shelf in shower would be a useful and cheap addition. Pity that nearest pub doesnt serve food on some nights but The Lion [1.2 miles] was good. Comfortable but narrow bed.

The room was perfect for one night stay. Very cosy, clean, with this special rural cottage atmosphere. Very good value for money. Full English breakfast with very tasty sausages. The host was very friendly and welcoming.

We believe that a small bench outside the house will be beneficial for guests wanting to spend few minutes in the fresh air.

Cleaver Cottage retains a sense of history whilst having been renovated with modern facilities & decor. Very comfortable accommodation . Private parking. Great English breakfast. Appleshaw is a very beautiful part of rural Hampshire.

Dining options in close proximity to Cleaver Cottage are limited but not unexpected being in a country environment. Not a deal breaker.

Quaint cottage, comfy rooms with countryside views. the owners were extremely friendly and helpful and able to accommodate my late arrival and last minute breakfast. Great location for my work appointments and would be ideal place to stay for exploring the area.
