The location of the hotel was top-notch - absolutely next to the beach and in the quieter part of the town too. However, supermarkets and restaurants were just a 5-minute walk away. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room had all the facilities needed for a short weekend stay.

I had opted for the Free Breakfast option. There were 4 choices - but the portions of food in one varied quite a bit from the other. They should look into this so that guests can get a proper value for their deal.

A lovely b&b, with very friendly staff. The seaview room was cosy and characterful, and kept us warm in chilly January. We really enjoyed the views from the enclosed balcony, absolutely stunning. The owners (from September 2024) were open and kind and attentive (as were all the staff we encountered). The owners are clearly committed to providing a great experience for guests and are dedicated to bringing the hotel up to their high standards, such as through updating bathrooms and rooms when they can. This will understandably take time, but we cannot recommend Navigator enough as it currently is (and it will only get better). We enjoyed good food (so wonderful to have such a nice onsite restaurant, and open fire), the lovely atmosphere, the thoughtful attention to needs and the generous sized room with beautiful views. We recommend a walk down the seaside promenade outside. We are very much looking forward to coming back for food and a further stay!

Anything that needs updating in rooms is already known and acknowledged by the owners, so nothing needs to be mentioned and they are evidently very dedicated. The downstairs which has been updated and sorted out, is great, as are hallways and cleanliness, so I can't wait to see what future renovation holds.

The staff was lovely and friendly and helpful. The locals who were having a drink in there was all really nice as well. Very welcoming x The bed was made up beautifully and very cosy. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room as well. There was a fridge in the hallway with water that u could take and put 50p in a jar which was a nice touch. The TV was set at a good height to watch comfortably.

Just a bit dated but they were having it painted whilst I was there. The on suite was really cold, the light pull was hard to get working also just cut and high. The toilet was seriously close to big plastic toilet roll holder and the seat didn't fit well. The shower cubicle was very small and you couldn't adjust the shower spray it just came out like a mist. Also the taps on the shower were broken and hard to adjust.

Food good comfortable bed . WiFi not good strength very weak. The bedroom door difficult to open loose lock . Stair were very steep difficult to get case up the stairs. Very, Friendly staff and a great atmosphere within the hotel, rooms kept very clean each day. Extra tea, coffee and milk, provided on request. Meals in the restaurant including breakfast perfect, very well presented, the view the closeness of the sea was amazing. The seafront and beach were just across the road from the navigator hotel close to everything. We stayed 04 days there will book again for a holiday David and Kate Simpson.

The view and closeness of the sea and beach . The friendly staff and great food.

Laid-back, old-fashioned style of hotel that doubles up as pub & cafe for residents and locals. Location is brilliant - on the seafront (with great sea views from the bedroom) and close to the town centre & all its amenities.

Our room had a leaking window with a sign saying 'please do not open'. This meant we could only open a small side window which did not give sufficient ventilation (for us at least - but then we do like fresh air!) nor enable us to hear the crashing waves (which is one of the appeals of a seafront hotel!). So we were too hot at night, despite it being mid-October.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. There were no problems with finding the address. We were met by a very friendly lady who gave us the key and informed us of all the necessary points. The room with a sea view was incredible. A small room with all the necessary amenities. Comfortable bed, nice pillows. We had a wonderful dream. Parking opposite the hotel, only for coins. On the first floor of the hotel there is a restaurant with delicious food and wonderful staff. Ice cream deserves special attention, it is very tasty. Thank you, we will definitely come back with our friends!

A very comfortable bed. Though no view from the bedroom, there was a beautiful sea view from the front windows of the pleasant breakfast room and a lovely colourful garden next door out the side windows. A choice of about 4 set meals for breakfast (included in price) seemed to cater for all tastes and the one evening meal I had was well cooked and presented.

I was a bit surprised to see the shower box near the bed but once I got used to the idea of that it didn’t seem to matter.

Excellent main meals and breakfast and very nice staff

Big disappointment on arrival to be told that they no longer sell my favourite drink which is Kronenburg. I tried the other drinks which were so inferior and had to make do with Fosters which is not too bad and 2 small bottles of Peroni lager which is a premium lager but costs £7.80 which is very expensive for the 3 nights. Such a pity that hotel/brewery get rid of the best beers to sell inferior ones with little taste which brings in more profit for them but leaves many customers feeling let down. Lovely hotel but not nice to sit down for a lovely meal with not very nice tasting inferior lagers/beers. well worth spending extra on Peroni which just about saved the holiday.

I loved that everything was clean and organized.

Everything was very good, I loved the room, they are well located, and it is quite comfortable to spend a quiet vacation as a couple, the last day of our stay was not so pleasant The staff was great, except the last day where the girl who was there was rude to us, the way she treated us made us feel a little uncomfortable, we were going to extend one more night, but because of the attitude that girl had We decided to leave and go back home😅😅, when I had previously extended two more nights, the restaurant is great to have a drink, but if it is to eat, the food is not very good and not in line with the price, the truth is it is quite expensive for the quality of the food

Fantastic location, literally on the sea front. Kathleen and Anthony have recently taken over and are very pleasant and accommodating. But if you are after a modern clinical hotel with a lot of staff in uniform, this is not the place for you. This is rather like a cosy pub with rooms upstairs. The restaurant has huge windows which look out to sea. Great food. Thoroughly recommended.

Nothing at all. Apart from leaving.
