The room was clean and comfortable and had beautiful features from the castle. The view was incredible and the garden and restaurant were also comfortable and beautiful. The food was superb and the staff were very polite and friendly.
Our only slight complaint is that the shower pressure was extremely weak and unpleasant to shower in. This let down the bathroom which looked great. The parking was very awkward, there are 2 car parks, one was clearly filled up by staff cars which meant there were no spaces available when we arrived and we had to park along the road, and move the car later. I think it would be better to have the cooked breakfast included in the room rate with every stay as the continual bits and bobs in the room didn't really work. The croissants were not fresh by the morning and fridge in the room was very noisy, so we eventually had to turn it off for the night.

Really unusual property. Restaurant and pub attached. Amazing views.
The details were incorrect in the listing. When I booked, the room was advertised on Booking dot com as having one double bed, one sofa bed and one single futon bed. There was only one double bed and one sofa bed. No futon. I discussed this with the staff and they gave me a camp bed for the last of 3 nights but my daughter slept on cushions on the floor for the other two nights. The listing should be updated. It was an expensive place to stay which is alright as a treat for the family but it was a shame about the beds not being as described.

The stay was one of the most outstanding experiences we have had traveling bc it was so much more than what we expected from the moment we arrived. The room was stunning but what made it so memorable was the hospitality of the staff particularly Sue and Ryan who made every moment feel like we were actual royalty to fit our surroundings. And to top it off the food was beyond expectations and matched any Michelin starred experience without the stuffiness! Special thanks to Ryan for recommending the prawns! Wait, did I mention they have dog friendly rooms! 10/10

We loved the experience of our visit, where the staff were brilliant. They were attentive, approachable and personable. Our small dog Reggie was welcomed well catered for which was great as you can get a bit anxious when taking your dog on your travels. The surroundings were stunning and well worth the visit, and if dining you get to sit and enjoy the views with their viewing gallery style windows. We left the dog in the room and went for breakfast so we could experience this and the breakfast was beautiful. There was plenty of option and the morning staff were attentive and welcoming. The food was exceptional - I had the lamb rump and husband had the ribs which were on the specials. Meat is sourced locally which I like, and and the prices were reasonable. We stayed in a dog friendly room which was clean and well laid out. The features of the castle were highlighted in the décor which was cool.
The mattress for our bed was springy and you could feel the big springs when moving in the night. The room was hot in the night too which is understandable when staying in the bottom floor of a castle, but a fan provided as standard would have made it better. I know we could have asked for one, but it was to late by the time we needed one to ask.

Our stay was absolutely beautiful! We stayed here for our wedding at Primrose Hill Farm which is just down the road. The groom and best man stayed the night before in the room where they were able to set up the sofa bed for him. It’s a stunning room with beautiful natural light and details. We had a minor issue where the groom left the room key in a car at the venue but the night porter came out to us within 15 minutes to open the door and help pick up our friends who had decided to walk back to the venue… Thank you so much for your hospitality! The continental breakfast was beautiful and the little sign for us was lovely
The bed dips in the middle so it’s a little uncomfortable and the fridge in the room is very very noisy so wakes you up. If possible it should be in the lounge area to avoid this

The building looks stunning, the staff friendly and helpful. Even though we booked the small double room, the way it was laid out turned a small space into a quirky, cosy, comfortable room. With all the amenities you could want. I booked for 2 nights so we could do the gin tasting tour at the Pinnock Distillery in the tower above the castle, which was great, and we could have stayed longer. The food from the restaurant was excellent and they have a good selection of wine and beers, I was there for the gin, which did not disappoint. Although a little more synergy between the two businesses would enhance both experiences. All in all, it was a great trip.
We weren't aware before arriving that there was additional parking across the road, added a bit of jeopardy, and tested my reversing skills. Even that seemed to add a little something to our trip.

The whole facility was delightful. The staff was helpful, the food was good. The continental breakfast was a surprise, but delicious. The rooms were very nice, clean, and relatively roomy for a historic site. Would definitely come back if in the area, and maybe stay longer.
TV had some problems, kept losing reception and had to search for channels each time I turned it on, but it didn't cause much trouble, and I believe the owners were aware of the problem and trying to fix it. Only thing I can think of that might seem a negative.

I stayed at the Castle Inn Edgehill on my own, the night before my wedding. The following night, I stayed there with my new wife, so two nights in all. I stayed in their smallest room, which would have been too small for some, but for a couple travelling light, it was perfect in that it was so cosy and bijoux. Breakfast was included as well. The surroundings and the view over the lower ground below the Castle Inn were spectacular. Quite surreal.
The skirting looked worn, as do many bed and breakfast rooms. Could do with some TLC.

Our room in The Castle was really quite magical and a real delve back into history. Beautifully restored and tastefully decorated we felt like we were in Repunzel's Tower and the views out across the lovely Warwickshire countryside were lovely. The 'breakfast in the room' pack was great + if you wanted the full English you could have that down in the pub restaurant. Evening meal on site was of a great quality/range and the staff were 'spot on'.
