The beds were extremely comfortable and we liked having two decent chairs in the room. The breakfast was exceptional with only the best ingredients used and perfectly cooked. Choice of menu really good and we could customise if we had wanted. Service brilliant. The proprietors were extremely welcoming and efficient. The location was perfect for our visit to nearby Ham Wall.

Only slight disappointment was that we hadn't realised that it wasn't set in it's own grounds as we had imagined but the parking was separated from the road by a good thick high hedge so it negated this a little.

Excellent breakfast - both in quality and choice Room was clean and comfortable although there was not much of a view - a driveway and buildings. Staff welcoming and friendly Very convenient for places such as Glastonbury, Wells and Burnham on Sea. There was also a wonderful circular walk across fields to the next village where there was a welcoming pub.

Although drinks were available there was not an actual bar. The weekend we stayed the guest lounge was being used by family of the proprietor and we felt we should not intrude. Fortunately we were able to spend time at a farm in Panborough, where our son was staying.

Property is a lovely old Manor House with lots of character. So if you are expecting a purpose built modern hotel with no soul, this is not for you. It is set in a peaceful village 5 mins from Glastonbury. Lovely view from our room at the back of the property. Slept really well as no traffic noise. Hosts were friendly and professional. Breakfast choice was very good and would recommend mushrooms on toast if you are vegetarian. Husband had bacon toastie with bacon good perfectly. Parking on site out the front makes carrying bags in easy.

Lovely house throughout and really nice couple welcoming. Shared lounge which was lovely to sit in there and relax a little while, u can order a drink to have in there if u wish. Bedrooms lovely and spacious. Lovely breakfast menu, hot cooked full English breakfast.

Can't say there was anything i didn't like. If u want to eat in the evening there is a variety of places short drive to Street and Glastonbury so not walking distance but lovely and quiet.

The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. Graham and Sue helped us with any questions we had and explained any history or curiosities we had about the property. It is a nice and quiet place to stay.

The Wi-Fi could probably use some updating. We were primarily there for Glastonbury and with no rental car, so it was a bit far to find taxi drivers for going into town and reserving them ahead of time, but it was still possible to get around.

Very friendly hosts, breakfast was lovely they accommodated my sons Gluten Free needs with ease. This is the second time I have stayed this year. They gave us a twin room at short notice. Lovely people, lovely place, I would definitely stay here again. Thankyou

It was in a heatwave so it was very hot, we had one fan for which we were very grateful, it would have been useful to have had a fan each as we had to keep the window open and lots of bugs but came in during the night.

The property was situated in a quiet residential area, a short drive from the centre of Glastonbury. The decor was a bit dated but it was clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly, pleasant and helpful. The bedroom was warm and cosy and the bed was very comfortable, and there were generous supplies of both teas and coffees and shower gels, etc.

There was no evening meal available and nowhere local to walk to, which meant driving into Glastonbury in the evening, which did offer a variety of pubs and cafes, so ok as long as you’re not bothered about alcohol.

Graham and Sue were the best hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was perfect and service impeccable. It's been a long time since I received a perfect meal on a heated plate. Delicious. We were very pleasantly surprised that housekeeping cleaned our room even on Sunday. Thank-you. The views over the Mendip hills from the balcony are beautiful. I will be back.

Cleanliness, views, hospitality, food quality, great service.

Lovely place full of character whilst feeling homely and cosy. Very welcoming and friendly hosts. Our room had a balcony which was a nice touch and had great views. The breakfast was outstanding, a fantastic choice of food with plenty of options, something for everyone. Being celiac I find it hard eating out and trusting places so we normally go self catering. It was lovely to be able to relax and enjoy breakfast as it was obvious the owners were fully aware of allergies, and had lots of gluten free options, I was even advised they used a separate toaster for the GF bread leaving me feel confident I could enjoy my breakfast.

Nothing to not like

Quiet location within easy reach of Glastonbury. We are vegan but they easily catered for us, and the cooked breakfast was one of the best we’ve had at a hotel / B&B! They even gave us a pot of soya milk for our room, so we could have a hot drink in the morning. Hosts were thoughtful and attentive, and we had an incredibly warm welcome.

Shame about the water pressure in the shower in the en-suite (which may need to be fixed or replaced). But overall, the corner twin bedroom was spacious and comfortable.
