I loved this place. From the eclectic ornaments, to the comfort and peaceful sleep I had…I couldn’t fault staying here. The accomodation is rural, so you can guarantee a peaceful night’s sleep. My room had everything I needed, with even some room to spare. Fresh berries were provided each day with other continental breakfast foods(if that’s what you’re into). The restaurant downstairs has a great menu, with food that is cooked and prepared with fresh local produce. I ate here for each of the 3 nights I stayed here The food was exceptional.

Due to this property being out of town, I would recommend only staying here if you have a car. Fortunately for me I was able to catch a lift from one of the employers on one of my days.

The room overall was very comfortable. We liked the comfy bed and the free standing bath. The room is very unique and tastefully decorated. Having the fridge with fresh fruit, juice, milk, and cereal was really appreciated. The area was remote and peaceful, and the pub lovely which served really good food. The pub has live music which unfortunately, we didn’t get to experience. In the summer months this place seems like an excellent place to spend time while visiting the area.

The property was in a remote location and it was nice as a countryside getaway, especially being from London. The room was very nicely decorated and spacious. I especially love the small details the owners provided, e.g. the complimentary cereals, orange juice, milk, yoghurt, books and board games in the room.

There’s not much to not like, if at all. One thing I would say is that the door to the entry of the building was unlocked and could not be locked. Thankfully we could lock the door to our room so that wasn’t an issue.

The location was midway to Glastonbury and Wells and sat in the heart of the Somerset Levels. The room was quirky as is the pub itself. The room was comfortable and more importantly warm as we were there for The Frost Fair. Although we didn't eat there ..the food looked good. The breakfast offering was of good quality and left in a small fridge, being cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt and plenty of fresh milk and orange juice. Also plenty of variety in drinks sachets. Good experience all round. Although there was no window view to speak of, the windows facing the road had a special reflective coating so the blinds could be raised and no one could see in but one could see out fully.

Parking was a little tricky when pub was busy.

Loved the quiet location and short drive to Glastonbury town. The Sheppey is a friendly place with a warm welcome. Overall the rooms are comfortable (stayed in 2 of the 3 now), the staff are great, as is the food. Bedroom is stocked with muesli, milk, yogurt, fruit juice and water daily - along with tea and coffee. We really enjoyed our stay (again).

It is difficult to say anything really. We have stayed before, eat there whenever we stay in Glastonbury, says it all I guess.

Our room was lovely, quirky. Knew we weren't having breakfast as they don't do cooked food in mornings. So was pleasantly surprised to find they supply the room with milk, orange juice, Yoghurt and Cereal! They do lunch and dinner. We ate there both evenings, the food was lovely. Staff friendly./professional.

Preferred to eat nearer the bar area as other room is large and not so warm. Obviously summer months wouldn't be an issue.

Lovely quirky pub with huge luxury rooms. Welcoming hosts. Nice meal, good choice of beer, live music some nights. Breakfast included (cereal, fruit, yoghurt). Beautiful country setting. Central location for Glastonbury, Wells.

Nothing. But be aware the pub is closed some days so your experience can be different. Saturday night was lively, all lit up with people drinking outside underneath the balcony, Sunday night quiet, dark and peaceful.

The pub decor was very quirky, plenty to look at whilst enjoying a pint before having dinner in the vary spacious restaurant area. Room decor was unusual but nice. Bathroom was very spacious with a lovely shower. Fresh fruit for breakfast was lovely

Room was quite dark, even though it had two windows felt this was due to decoration and lighting. In room breakfast was replaced every morning with fresh fruit , juice ,muesli and milk but no choice ,both yogurt the same only muesli as cereal option. Found it strange that bed was not made up or no other normal maid services were provided .Not really a problem but worth a mention in case it is for others

Friendly owners and staff, excellent food and lovely, quirky surroundings in the Inn. Fabulous to sit in the sunshine by the river with a coconut rum and the ‘electrifying buzz button’ dessert is a must.

The Inn and accommodation were perfect - the lanes nearby though are very narrow and as a nervous passenger I didn’t enjoy. This is purely a personal comment and my own fault for loving this area so much!

Lovely room tastefully decorated and furnished with all needs provided including lovely toiletries in spacious bathroom, large smart TV, books, games, poofs and cushions, cute little wardrobe, comfortable bed. Very welcoming hosts. Breakfast provided in the room which suited us very well. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and we loved the vibe of the pub and all the staff.

Bathroom sink was blocked so didn’t drain well. This wasn’t a big problem though and we didn’t report it while we were there so our bad for that. Only a tiny mirror in the bathroom, a larger one on the wall would have been welcome. Bed a little too close to TV stand so I frequently banged my thigh on it when walking past. This probably could have been easily rectified by moving the bed. We were promised apples which didn’t come, but rest of breakfast provided was spot on.
