We stayed in the deluxe apartment- all lovely and clean, had everything we needed. Lovely host, fantastic communication before and during our stay- James even managed to get us a temporary parking spot as we arrived late, we moved the car later on when the streets were less busy -it was the Friday with the rescheduled firework display when we arrived. Could actually see a lot of them just from the end of the street.

Nothing, about the accommodation, it was lovely, clean , comfortable apartment for 2 couples - (Husband said our bed was a bit soft for him, but that is a personal preference!) Got parked a couple of streets away for free- it was a very busy weekend when we visited Blackpool. The outside of some nearby properties look like they could do with some TLC- but the Central Cove Guest house accommodation was lovely.

James was a great host. Room was excellent value for money, we were very impressed. Clean, tidy and bright inside with ample kitchen facilities. Great location and easy parking. Room was spacious, plenty of room for a travel cot which was kindly provided for us upon request. My husband asked for an iron which was provided promptly. Overall great stay!!

Bathroom a little small and no where to put toiletries (we were a family of 4 though) No hair dryer in room, however I didn’t ask to see if one was available so may have been provided if so.

Friendly host central located over the road from central pier down the last side street on left before the bridge,Very quiet stay no noisy guests to put up with banging doors / tv loud / shouting peace & quiet,Ensuite room the shower took a few minutes to get to the right temperature,Modern look room no old fashioned decor like most b n bs,I would stay again.

Only 1 shower and hand towel in the room 2 night stay the owner told me just to ask I did ring the door bell no answer to ask for more,Didn't want to disturb the owner,And only 3 clothes hangers the owner told me guests pinch them,The bed needed a single bed sheet as it was cold at night just the flat sheet and duvet on the bed,Some on the metal bathroom furniture was rusty the towels & sink holders could do with replacing or painting to keep up the modern look of the room,Just a few minor things to improve in the room,,Other than them all good.

November 2024

Have never stayed in Blackpool before, I'd come this November for the Northern Weekender at the Tower and was looking for somewhere that wouldn't break the bank and was also close to everywhere. Arrived about 12 and James (who is lovely) had rang the day before and said I could check in when I got to town which helped massively and was totally unexpected. Cove itself is really well decorated, my room was clean and spacious for a single, had tv etc, water was super powerful, shower was lovely and hot. I genuinely couldn't have asked for more. Cove is also about a five minute walk from town, there's a great pub round the corner, the prom is right on your doorstep, car park down the end of the road that's a tenner a day. I loved it so much I've just booked again for next November, so that should tell you all you need to know.

Nothing, it was genuinely perfect and for 30 pound a night, I'd be genuinely concerned if anyone did have any complaints.

The owner was excellent. He was extremely accommodating from start to finish and gave us a lovely spacious family room for the duration of the trip, but also access to the seating area by the reception next door with free tea and coffee. The room was well equipped, and the beds were very comfortable. The owner even let us leave our bags in the guest house reception for a few hours after check out as our train wasn't until the evening, which was extremely generous and saved us having to carry them around all day.

The ensuite bathroom was a bit tight, with the sink hard to access due to the toilet. The shower could also be a bit problematic, with the water being slow to heat up at times.

James the owner is absolutely lovely. He rang me the day before arrival to touch base which i thought was a nice gesture and he was so helpful throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble. It's not even a 5 minute walk to the beach front and 10 minutes max to the main town area. I stayed in a single room which had plenty of space and somewhere to hang my clothes. The bed was very comfy and it was very quiet, so slept well. Didn't use the TV in the room but the WiFi worked perfectly. The shower was great. There is no breakfast option but at a bargain price for an overnight stay that wasn't an issue. There's a cafe literally 2 minutes walk away called Triggers cafe that does a great breakfast and open at 7am. Will definitely be staying here again next time we're in Blackpool.

The only thing i would say is it would have been nice if the shower was a little bigger in size, but this certainly wasn't an issue.

Lovely hotel, very modern, clean and in a great location. James was lovely and very helpful throughout our stay. He even offered to carry our luggage up the stairs as we were staying on the top top floor. Great communication when we needed to get in touch with him. Best I’ve stayed in in Blackpool and I will most certainly be booking again. Thank you for making our stay so smooth and welcoming.

Lovely, clean, and a wonderful owner, who checked up on me and was ready to assist if we needed so. I was not sure if I could come because the UK visa process was taking way too long, and the owner checked in on me and was in continuous contact to inform me of my options. Luckily, the visa came in at the last moment, and I was able to make it as planned! Loved the comfy soft beds ^_^

James the owner was really lovely. So helpful and friendly and relaxed. The beds were comfy, the rooms were clean, the shower was lovely and powerful. There was a fridge, kettle and microwave available too. Wifi and a big cheap car park at the end of the road - paid £20 to park there there for 3 days.

Would have been good to have a dustpan and brush in the room and also a tea towel. A few more accessible mirrors too but these are minor things. The area around is a little to be desired but you wouldn't know from within.

We were greeted by James, the loveliest host. Our room was spotless, fabulous beds, spacious, very comfortable. Everything we wanted . Will definitely return

The area it is in, possibly let it down, don’t be put off, the other guest houses in area look a bit run down, but behind this door is a completely different experience
