We got what we paid for and very affordable as a group of 4 sharing room & the cost , right by everything we needed to do & go stone throw away to the beach, owner John very friendly we took his advice for nearest places to visit, we was out all day & most of the evening (late) maybe came back a bit loud lol ooops but John never said anything next day apart from did you all have a good day/ night . Oh and big mirrors everywhere,love them 😁😁😁

The stairs was too many depending which room you get , again John very helpful with carrying cases up😊

The location of The Cowley /The Wallace Hotels (they're attached and you may be accommodated in either) was perfect. It took us 15mins to walk to the Pleasure Beach and 5 to Central Pier: the hotel is right on the front. Our car was parked, cheaply (£10 per night) at the back in view of our window and there were grocery shops within 20m of the property, including a big B&M. The staff are lovely, really welcoming and the dog is very cute and friendly, but kept well away if guests aren't dog fans. The family room we booked was the best we've had. It's an L shape so it felt as if the adult part was in a separate room to the kids so we could watch TV and have a glass of wine in the evening without disturbing our children. The bathroom is small but has everything you need. For a traditional, budget hotel this was absolutely ideal for us and we would certainly stay again and recommend without hesitation. All the moaners clearly have ideals above their willingness to pay more and need to give their heads a wobble. It was clean, spacious, well stocked and everything worked as it should. We were made to feel very welcome and our children were all greeted in a friendly way, which means a lot. We loved our stay here and couldn't fault it.

Not for someone who can't do stairs I bet you could get a lower room if requested and available

Very welcoming host when we booked in , nothing was too much for him very friendly ,big family room and clean and had everything was needed for a family of 4 ,and the added extra what made the kids day was watching baby seagulls out of the window as we was on the top floor which my kids loved will recommend and deffo will be going back xx

John was great with me, my partner and our dog from start to finish. very welcoming and pleasant to us... Excellent loctation and it's really quiet of a night with nice clean rooms with comfy beds👍 Would definitely be staying again and made up how great John was with our dog even lent us a harness for the 2 nights. Everything was great for us

The rooms were comfortable, clean and tidy. The location was perfect, right on the seafront. The staff couldn't do enough for you, very accommodating and pleasant. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Great price, great location and the group all said they would visit this hotel again.

Is there anything I would change?, in one word NO, it was a great hotel on the seafront with great staff and it ticked all the boxes for all in our group.

Spent two nights with my wife and was a good place to stay. It’s very close to every event you desire.

The rug needs a quick dry and maybe some freshener as well. Anyone with a sensitive nose would notice. But every other thing was good.

Can't fault the owner, lovely down to earth man who makes the stay worth it. Very accomadating nothing was too much.made us feel so welcome.even my little girl who is 6 wanted to stay longer and she never wants to do that due to her autism.

Staff were so helpful and made us very welcome. The room was a bit outdated. the location was good for what we wanted as we the dog with us would come back again.

Nothing had a brilliant time for a little break away.
