This is such a lovely B&B. The hosts, Ron and Julie, made us very welcome. Ron showed us to our accommodation which was on the ground floor. Our door led to our own private area with a small lobby, a shower room to one side and to the other, a large bedroom with tea and coffee making facilities. A cold bag with fresh cold water and milk was left in the room for us, which was very much appreciated after travelling. English breakfast was superbly cooked by Ron and Julie made sure we had what we needed. The whole B&B is spotlessly clean and very lovely decorated and furnished. Loved the garden. Will definitely be returning. Thanks Julie & Ron.

Great breakfast, you could have as much or as little as you liked, all cooked to.order. Fresh fruit available too. Room very good, plenty of space, lovely bathroom, towels changed whenever you wanted them. Lots of space for hanging clothes, comfy bed. Chilled water and fresh milk was supplied daily in the room. Area very quiet, but plenty of places to eat within a short drive. Guests can sit in the garden if they like, but it was a bit cold when we were there! Hosts were friendly and helpful, made us feel very welcome.

Very friendly owners..lovely accomodation..very clean, lovely rooms in a quiet location. High quality decor and furnishings in the room. Nothing was too much trouble..Bathroom facilities top class. Breakfast out standing..nothing was too much trouble. Lovely stay thank you.

Could of done with more towel hooks in bathroom. Need bathmat as wooden slat obviously didn't soak up water on floor, which caused it to be slippy. Would of liked a key to room..as do not know other guests and your room is open to all when out..

Lovely balcony from which to read our books and look at their beautiful garden. Peaceful rural location with lots of birdlife to watch/listen to. Room was equipped with all we needed. Spacious bathroom. Quality towels, bed cover and linen. Short walk over the fields to St Tudy Inn. Owner gave really useful description of local eateries, opening hours, need for reservations etc.

My husband is very sensitive to noise and could hear people/TV in other rooms at times but it is an old building with wooden floors.

My husband and I enjoyed a delightful two-night stay at this wonderful B&B. The location was absolutely perfect, offering us easy access to everything we wanted to explore. The bed was supremely comfortable, ensuring that we had restful nights. The breakfast provided was a true delight, with a wide array of delicious options. The hosts were exceptional, displaying warmth and attentiveness that made us feel truly welcome. And let's not forget about the stunning garden that adorned the property; its beauty left us in awe. We're already eagerly anticipating our return to this haven of tranquillity. The quality of sleep I experienced during our stay was unparalleled, making it undoubtedly the best rest I've had in a while. The attention to detail in the interior design didn't go unnoticed – it was evident that an immense amount of care and passion went into crafting every corner of this establishment.

Owletts is in a great location, so quiet and peaceful but easy to get to most places within Cornwall. The garden is absolutely beautiful and our room was so comfortable with lovely garden views, especially from the seats on the balcony. Ron and Julie are great hosts, providing very handy local advice and travelling tips. Breakfast was delicious and bountiful, and included lovely fresh fruit, cereals and juice as well as full English.

The property was in a lovely setting in a beautiful part of the country. It has a pretty walled garden and separate seating area. The back looks out on to open fields and so is very private. The room was pretty and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities and a television and, of course, a en suite bathroom. The bed was very comfortable for me as a single person, being a double. Breakfast was delicious with continental and full English available. Do try he Cornish pudding. Very similar in taste and texture to a sausage. Parking was available, if a little tight. My hosts were friendly and knowledgeable pointing me towards various things which made my stay even easier.

Having only a double bed, the room would have been a problem for a couple. I suggest getting a king.

We loved this B&B,, this is a beautiful barn dating back to Queen Anne. Fantastic hosts, they were warm, welcoming, knowledgeable about the area, and they cooked a fantastic breakfast. The facilities are great, we had a balcony with fabulous views over the very pretty garden. Close to Bodmin, we walked the Camel Trail over our 3 day stay and Owletts Barn was a perfect base.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Superb breakfast tailored to whatever you want. Fresh fruit was especially good. Catered for gluten free & soya milk with no fuss. Everything you need to feel welcome was there. The water & milk provided in a cool bag in the room was a very nice touch. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Lots of wardrobe space & enough hangers. Shower was amazing.

Not sure about not being able to lock the room when you go out and there was quite a bit of noise from creaking floor boards, voices & when the toilet was flushed upstairs.

A recently converted barn that had an excellent room with a balcony where we stayed. Clean and quiet. Cosy breakfast room and great food.

No individual external locks on the rooms , but a locked communal area. No problems while we were there but potentially there could be security issues.
