Very clean room and comfortable bed

Everything was fine, but there was a nasty smell on the ground floor near the lifts.

Cedar court hotel is a very nice hotel. We were greeted at the reception desk by very helpful staff. They were friendly and helpful. Our room was nice apart from a couple of long cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. We had to ask for help from reception as we couldn’t get the lights/lamps working, the housekeeper came up to our room and showed us the master switch which was near the entrance to the room. We asked for a fan as the room was extremely hot and the window only opened about 3 inches, the housekeeper brought us a very small, noisy, inadequate fan ( note to oneself to bring a fan from home). We were allocated a standard double room on the 3rd floor with a bath and shower over. The shower head was fixed to the wall making it virtually impossible to get to certain places to rinse the soap off. There were no shower rails to hold on to and no non slip mat for inside the bath. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and the staff were most helpful. We slept quite well despite the room being hot. After waking and going down for a lovely breakfast we returned to our room, it was then that I rechecked the status of our booking to find we had originally booked a standard double ACCESSIBLE room. On raising this issue with the receptionist on checking out, she didn’t really comment much on this fact apart from observing how very hot I was and offered me a cold drink. I said to her that maybe when people book certain rooms, ie accessible rooms, that reception staff should ensure that people are allocated the room that they have booked. It’s a lesson to be learned on my part, to ensure I get the room that I have booked and paid for!

Staff were great, the lady at reception through the day went above and beyond, unfortunately, I don't have her name but she was on duty throughout our stay from the 1st to the 6th of January, also, Nigel, the Cook, was very helpful brushing the snow from my car and helping to clear my path as it was difficult leaving the Car Park after the Snow Fall. My only criticsms are that we miss the Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi Facilities and I think the food prices are a little high, edpecially when there are other resturaunts close by.

The room was comfortable. Staff were polite and friendly and were very helpful.

The attention to detail on all rims in the bathroom was a little alarming for germs etc The bath wasn't clean and hairs were along the rim so I didn't want a bath and could only have a shower. The drilling from the room next door was not appropriate and for the first couple of hours I actually expected the worst but thankfully it stopped. I found the restaurant menu however very pretentious for the price. The pork ribs for instance wasn't even local and tasted like it came pre cooked warmed up from frozen and for the price I'm sorry but it just wasn't good enough or big enough!

Soon as we walked in it was like we were the most important guests they had and managed to achieve this with all guests. My husband is disabled/wheelchair user, they made sure we stayed in same room as before and nothing was too much trouble. Food was lovey and plentyfull. There isn't enough room to say how fantastic all staff were, going to extremely lengths to accommodate my husbands needs including helping him with parking despite the 4 PARTIES they were hosting.

The room was fine and clean, the bed comfortable, more than enough snacks and drinks. It was nicely cleaned every day. The cleaning staff were very pleasant. Breakfast fare was more than adequate and actually warm on the plate. Staff as helpful as they could be.

The computer billing system is chaotic. We had specified beforehand that we would be notifying the hotel about breakfasts ad hoc but the computer showed three breakfasts added on regardless. When we explained that we would be leaving before breakfast on checkout day, this seemed very difficult for staff to input. When we tried to pay for accommodation and breakfasts consumed the night before checkout to save time this too proved too difficult for the computer system to comprehend. We were told at checkout just before leaving that we still owed a balance for breakfasts... Frustrating

From the 1st walk in, being greeted we with smile, wonderful welcome, the staff could not do enough, from managers to domestic. A first for us as disabled, a very unique and excellent risk assessment catered to meet my husbands needs in an emergency. Never done across this, ever, a real ly well thought out policy. Food was lovely and plentiful , a brand new menu exceeded our expectations. Will definitely be coming back. Only critique is the wet room needed upgrading with more grip rails, new floor, different toilet and detachable shower hose, bedside grip rail and more accessable bedside light switches would also have been useful, but did not spoil our stay, well done to all the staff

Couldn't stay longer

It was nearby from Coach drop off point. Reception staff was pleasant.

1. I didn’t like that there was no net curtains in the room. My room was on the ground floor and I had to have the curtains closed at all times, so no natural light. My room was facing a back car park and although no cars were parked, I didn’t feel comfortable leaving the curtains open. Pls invest in net curtains, at least for ground floor rooms. 2. The hotel charge £10 per hour for a late check out. Stayed in many hotels around the world and have never paid for a late check out!

From the minute I arrived I felt welcomed and relaxed. Uzma on reception was super friendly, engaging and really helpful. Mo was fantastic! Training a group of new employees on Saturday and still made the time to have a chat with us and a laugh. Lovely guy! The entire team were so friendly, helpful and happy. It was so nice to see a hotel where every member of staff had a smile on their face. Such a rare thing these days! I would definitely go back! 10/10

Thought there was a pool at the hotel, it would have been nice to have but not the end of the world.

Daily housekeeping, comfortable room

Staff uneducated about car park fees . I have been told on check in that car park for full stay is £4 and been asked to pay for it but when I check out I find out it’s per night not per stay. Gentleman who did check in for me answered clearly 3 times that price for car park is £4 per stay. Another disappointing situation happened at the hotel bar when I asked for bucket with ice( I said that fridge in the room would be great) but lady asked me where am I from , when I answered that I am from Poland she was disrespectful and said that that kind of standards are in Dubai but we are in Bradford . Very shocking behaviour
