Bearing in mind we arrived the Monday after the super busy Gay Pride weekend, the staff were all so friendly (despite the fact they must have been exhausted) . The hotel and our rooms were immaculate and the bed super comfy. We brought along my brother and sister-in-law, niece and her friend who were all over for a visit from Kansas, USA. They loved their rooms too and said it was the highlight of their trip. There was a drag artist on in the bar during the evening which was great fun. Breakfast the next morning was enjoyed by us all. We’ve stayed at a few hotels nearby but this was definitely the best. Can’t wait to come back again.

Nothing.

We had lovely sea views, The room was clean, had a kettle for tea and coffee. Even had a iron and ironing board (why). Breakfast was by menu , not help yourselves which is nice. and was well cooked and plenty of toast and coffee. They had drag queen entertainment each night, which was fine. A nice place to sit out the front with table and chairs, get a drink from the bar and watch the world go by.

My brother in law had a single room and it was very small, more like a cupboard. Our double room was small but we had the sea views and views of the pier, which made up for it. The reception was in a weird place, You had to walk through the bar to get to it and it was quite tatty and dark. But we only stayed for two nights. You couldn't order a coffee in the bar after six o'clock, which is mad, as I don't drink.

My 3rd stay at legends, usually with my partner but this weekend it was with my daughter. We had a lovely stay. The breakfast was amazing and great value. The staff, as always, very pleasant and lovely. Great having the club in the basement and only having to crawl upstairs to bed. Lovely late check out too. Bed lovely band comfy.

just would have loved a bit more bench space for all our girlie makeup and bottles of things, two girls trying to do hair and makeup together was a bit difficult. We found the pillows were a touch too flat, I’ve always had nice fluffy ones in the past. And lastly, what a great shower. The only problem was that there were no shelves to put your shower gels and shampoos on and it was impossible not to get your hair soaked as the rain forest shower was right over head and unable to tilt it.

The rooms are small, but absolutely clean. Have anything you need for a short stay - shower works just fine too. Didn't try the breakfast although reviews say it's great. Easiest check in ever, and same for checkout. Only stayed for one night and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed. Also, I was aware the hotel has a bar and a club in the basement - hence, that it potentially could get loud. Our room was in the top floor, and we had more noise coming from the wind rather than anything else. Ear plugs were supplied too just in case. Can't tell if other rooms had occupants in, we heard the steps in the corridors but not movements within rooms - could be accidental, most buildings in the UK are quite old and hence sound proofing isn't stellar. Would stay again!

Tiny sink - I understand why (bathroom is like a cupboard) but water does get everywhere if you want to wash your face vs hands. price - was decent based on me booking months in advance but if they'd charge anymore I think would be overpriced

Friendly professional staff. Excellent breakfast.

There was noise coming from the air conditioning unit outside our window all night , this could possibly have been sound proofed. It’s a shame because otherwise everything was great and we did appreciate the ear plugs but we thought they were there because of the nightclub but we had no disturbance from that at all.

Lanka, Beau and Jamie tried their best and gave me the room I like. They were extremely friendly and helpful. I will be back in 2 weeks and hope to get room 205 with the view of the pier! Superb location. Three blocks from the main bus stop that takes you everywhere from Brighton. Bus stop across the street to Three Sisters and all the way to Eastbourne. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The waitress was very nice. Took pictures of me and gave excellent service. The linen are fresh and new.

Nothing really. If I have to pick on something, I'd say the rooms are a little small.

Loved the breakfast, proper English breakfast. The chef could accommodate my request for an omelet although it was not in the menu. The location is excellent. I booked a double room and it was very clean. Every thing was thoughtfully provided in the room like hair drier, Iron box for dress pressing, earplugs, toiletries, etc. The rooms are cleaned everyday, thoroughly.

The windows were not completely sound proof, although they provided some insulation from the noise. I can't blame the hotel completely as it was located on the main road, right infant of the beach. I suggest the hotel to get the windows sound proofed and then there would be no flaw to the hotel.

Drunk-upgraded and ended up with a HUGE, comfortable bed and a wonderful view! Staff were nice, online communication excellent, liked that dogs were allowed in the bar. Big towels, good toileteries, work desk was very handy, radiators worked very well. Earplugs were a welcome gift, very comfortable and worked well!

The music and vibrations coming from the basement club went on until after 6am. I was on the third floor! Glad earplugs were provided ;-) The hairdryer in my room was a very retro, wall-mounted offering, but they ones in my friends' rooms were standard hairdryers. I was only there for two nights anyway, so it didn't really matter. The shower was fixed into the wall very high up (I'm short and spent most of my time in the shower fending off the shower curtain!)

Receptionist really helpful on arrival ..she said she was new but you’d never guess .. Room had just been refurbished so was perfect - cleanliness was amazing, fresh towels/linen daily (thanks to Sue the lovely hardworking cleaning lady 😊) Breakfast was amazing - £9.50 for continental with a full cooked breakfast (many options such as Eggs Benedict etc) Nightly entertainment (mainly drag queens, but free and a great laugh) Bar open to 3am (4am at weekends) so bear this in mind if you book a seaview room it can be noisy if you sleep with windows open. Nice to have 11.30 check out (much later than other hotels we’ve stayed at) Have booked to stay again in a couple of months 😊

The only thing missing was a mini fridge in the room 😐

The room was very clean, very comfy bed. Not a huge room but space used well to ensure this wasn't an issue. We loved the location being right across the street from the beach and very near to the Brighton Centre which we were visiting. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff all very helpful and kind. I had a painful neck whilst there and after asking it was no trouble for them to warm my heat pack to put on my neck to ease it. Will definitely visit again and again.

Nothing, Everything was great. If I had to nit-pick then perhaps breakfast was a little slow coming out but it was super tasty and worth the wait. Plus it was lovely to relax with some toast and a sea-view while it was being cooked. Great staff, great stay!
