The property was very clean. Easy to access & proximity to city centre & beach

One of the gentleman at the check in desk didn't come across as very welcoming at the time of check in. He did improve his conduct on later interactions. Vegetarian choice is not very good. Was offered Veg sausages, but they were not cooked well & felt very dry too.

Location Superb , for us anyway, 2 mins walk down the back of the Station.Minutes from the North Laines.Sainsbury's Store very near for refreshments, snack etc etc, OR Meals cooked in your Room with this Hotel ! We normally stay down the Seafront end but this was nice and different for a change.ROOM was great PLUS a Kitchen with Fridge etc etc, great concept here.Don't believe the reviews about Breakfast, its basic but actually very good, all you need to start the day, you could be quite greedy if you wanted to be, see my piccies.They do either sausages Or Bacon on different days and the extras/other options you can see, if something has run out just ask and they bring more. OH and again a Great Room,Bathroom,TV,Space was really good.Nice quality feel to the whole place, Posh Suites feel to it. Superb Staff with great attitude and ready to do all they can for you, are they on shares or Commission ?? ha ha.It's VERY nearly a 10/10 place.

Not much to dislike really, try it out. They need to buy another Coffee Machine !!!! One is not enough for all Guests at Breakfast time, and maybe another Toaster. Also inform Guests that Breakfast runs later (Longer ? ) at weekends, we did not need to rush, had we known. PLEASE explain to visitors they can just walk down the back of the Station to the Hotel reception, if travelling fairly light it's much quicker.Literally don't walk out the Station, go left and out the back, Lift and Stairs there.

First impression of the area was that it was quite run down but it was actually a very lively neighbourhood with 2 excellent pubs (The Basketmakers and The Foundry) just a few minutes walk away.

Because my wife had made the reservation on Booking.com the check-in agent did not credit my IHG Gold Elite points or allow me to benefit from the advertised rate reduction at the London Road car park which was mentioned on the web page. They need to make it clear that this does. Or apply to Booking.com customers.

The Queen Studio Suite was a good size, bed very comfy, little kitchen area surprisingly well-equipped. Nice toiletries (incl. conditioner). Such friendly reception staff. Best plus point is the location: handy for station (exit station from the rear near taxi rank, go down steps/take lift, and there you are), and easy reach of everything. And yet quiet! Have stayed a number of times elsewhere in Brighton and noise has been the downside if central. Will stay here again for sure.

nothing - all was great for its price point. Only because we're board-gamers I'd say a bigger table in the room would have been welcome (there was room). However we took our games down to the communal eating area tables after breakfast hours.

Everything exceeded expectation and value was excellent Location ideal and easy to reach Close to the centre but none of the noise. Supremely quiet Room size large, bed comfortable and king size Bathroom large, walk-in shower and a standalone, large bath. Excellent. Kitchenette looked very well equipped but did not use Breakfast very decent and the breakfast room was very pleasant. No crowding or queuing. Staff very friendly at all times. The breakfast staff could not have been more helpful or pleasant. Clean in all areas. Even enabled early check-in (with a smile) as the room was ready. Such a bonus

Accessibility to the room facilities (hob, sink, fridge etc.) were great, even when using my electric wheelchair. The wet room was also great, the only comment I would have is that the chair in the shower was unstable and not safe. Both the ‘wet-room and kitchen were very clean and mostly usable by wheelchair. Our room was spacious too, the bed was lovely, large and very comfortable.

If I was an unaccompanied wheelchair user, then it would be very difficult to get out of the room as it is difficult with an inward opening door to hold it open while maneuvering the wheelchair. The same applies to the double doors between reception and the lift lobby.

Great location with easy access to the train station, supermarket and the laines. Room was spotless, nice linen, comfortable bed, breakfast good and free access to the coffee machine during the day was also welcomed. Paid parking also very close to the hotel but make sure you use the Hotel QR code to book as it will give the option of 12pm-12pm on departure day. if you book direct with the car park the day charge expires at 4am.

Everything was good but if i had to find fault, I'd just say that small sofa or armchair in the room would have been good. I was there for 4 days/3 nights so the only option to sit and relax was on a dining chair or on the bed. The window in the room did not open so whilst the room is heated/air-conditioned it would have been nice to get some fresh air into the room as otherwise can get a but stuffy.

Location was great. Right next to train station and supermarket/ north lane shops nearby. There is a grubby lift from the station right down to the entrance of the hotel. Looks like the hotel was newly renovated . The kitchenette which was well stocked was very helpful to have. We had the hotel breakfast which had good hot/ cold options. Lots of yummy croissants/ pain au chocolate. The common area/ lounge/ games room / gym were all great. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel breakfast on weekdays closed at 9:30am which we found to be too early to get up on holiday. Wish it closed at 10:30am. Breakfast room was also busy right as it was closing. We found the hotel room stuffy. Wish we had the option to open a window. We also wanted an armchair to sit and relax in. Only place to relax was the bed. There was only one chair and one stool as a seating option. When we checked in there was still rubbish from the previous occupant in the bin. We had to call the reception to get it removed. The room cleaning is lax maybe due to cost cutting measures. The location is not great if you want to be near the beach which is a 15 minute walk.

Great facilities in the room - Loved that there was a full size fridge, pots, hob, microwave etc. It's really kitted out for people who are staying for a few days. The staff were lovely. Location was great near the lanes and was a 2 minute walk from the train station which was incredibly helpful. Brilliant air con. Great, comfy bed. Quiet too so no getting woken in the middle of the night. Overall a really great experience for both mine and my partner's birthdays - Would really recommend this hotel

It's in a great location, just a short distance from the station. The French lady at reception was extremely helpful. I even got invited to a social evening held once a week for quests. The breakfast was good.

The lift outside to get to the hotel from the station sometimes did not work, so you had to use the steps down. This was not the hotel's fault, as it was outside to get to the hotel. The steps were very slippery on a cold night, and it would be reasonably tricky with a buggy or less abled person. There were limited channels on TV.
