A well presented spacious pub/restaurant. Lovely garden and plenty of parking. Staff were extremely welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and the service provided throughout our stay was excellent and consistent. Room was furnished and presented to an extremely high standard and certainly exceeded our expectations. Good selection of food and drink. All meals taken (breakfast, lunch and dinner) were also well presented and produced to a high standard using quality products. Overall, we enjoyed a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable stay and will definitely return.

Pretty, spacious room on the first floor. Spotless clean room and bathroom. Large double bed. Kettle for Coffee and Tea making placed in the room. Small sitting area with two relax chairs. A good and complete a la carte English breakfast is served in the restaurant which also caters for diner. The restaurant is popular with local customers. Evening diner was excellent and affordable (reservation is recommended). Free parking.

WIFI was patchy, but worked reliably in the restaurant. Some noise was heard from the road while sleeping with open windows. We had only small luggage and were not concerned that there is no elevator.

Absolutely everything else. The room was beautiful, comfortable and excellent value for money. It's a little pricey for some but given the area and the value of the items in the room, it does make sense. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but it was well laid out and bustling. The staff were very helpful on arrival and gave us a charging block when we forgot ours! Just a few things to note: The bed in Myrtle needs investigating, it's making an interesting noise on the side closest to the window and the hallway was far too warm!

Lovely room, beautifully decorated, new bathroom with great shower. Mattress felt like it had seen better days (saggy). Staff were lovely and attentive. The breakfast menu was huge and looked lovely but breakfast didn't start until 8am and I had an early appointment to get to so wasn't able to make use of it.

Ordered fish & chips for dinner and the skin was left on the battered fish which was a tad disappointing and I'm a huge fan of Pinot Grigio and it wasn't a good one unfortunately. However, lovely atmosphere and staff in the pub so enjoyed my evening.

It was a beautiful place set deep in rural Norfolk. The staff were warm, friendly and very welcoming and the accommodation was very comfortable with a very comfortable bed. The food was great, especially the little detailed additions to each dish - the lemon gel with my cured salmon starter and the pickled celery and apricot chutney with the cheese board. The wine recommended by the land lady was delicious, and the breakfast was generous and really tasty.

I loved everything from the moment I walked in. The staff were attentive, greeted me by name, and made sure I was booked in for dinner. The room was a great standard and the bed was really cosy. There was lots of space for me and my daughter, and we both enjoyed the quiet location. The food was delicious and well worth every penny. Again the staff were fab. We had dinner and breakfast and both were great. We were sad to leave as we could easily have stayed another night.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

I arrived early evening but didn't want to eat a huge meal so asked if i could have a little something up in my room. They made a snack for me which was from their lunch menu and although they said i could eat the snack in the room, the restaurant looked so nice and cosy we actually ended up eating downstairs and they could not have been more helpful or polite. I felt like i was being a nuisance asking about taking it up to my room initially but they didn't make me feel like i was at all. The stay was so comfortable and cosy and the room was so clean. I had a lovely view of the sheep in the field opposite. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! I had the eggs royale and my partner had the full english and it was amazing! The young guy who served us at breakfast could not have been more helpful. We normally stay in Sheringham for our anniversary but they were fully booked so booked the three horseshoes and we both said we would gladly go again and again. Excellent stay! Thank you.

Nothing. Honestly, an absolutely brilliant stay.

Super comfortable room. Stayed in Thyme, large room with spacious bathroom. Immaculate in all respects. Not a criticism but the pub is situated right on the road as you leave/enter the village. Our room was on top of the road, you could not realisticly have the window open as the traffic seem to view this part of the road as a race track! It is just something that you need to be aware of when choosing a room. The grounds are lovely, huge car park. Food was amazing. Service and help 100%. We stayed for two nights, one breakfast was disappointing but the next day excellent. Lovely place to stay and unwind.

This place is a find, very comfortable room, the bed was huge and lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful, beer garden huge and well presented. Breakfast is great value and good quality. Very close to the north Norfolk coast and the lovely town of Holt.

We had a mushroom starter and a crab timbale. The crab lacked flavour as did the seafood linguine. The lamb was good but also needed seasoning and I never season food.

Room excellent. Large comfortable bed. Very roomy. Food of a good standard. The lady in charge was very efficient and coped with a busy evening service.

Cold water tap in bathroom not working. Milk at breakfast was on the buffet table which meant several trips when you have more than one cup of tea. Suggest some small jugs could be put on buffet table so individuals could take a jug of milk back to their own table.
