Great rooms, great staff on reception, a young lady very helpful. Breakfast is also a halal option. No complaints.

Have stayed before, but not for a few Years and have always thought the hotel is nice and conveniently located, the complimentary breakfast has always been a nice touch and of good quality. Hotel is clean and good in room facilities.

I booked through booking.com - for which my default payment card is Amex, which the hotel doesn't accept, I only found this out in the hours leading up to my check in after a couple of missed calls from the hotel. I was a bit concerned that I was no longer going to be able to stay and might have to change my plans, so if this can be mitigated for future guests, then I think this would be a plus - I wasn't in a position to take the calls initially and had to call back and was also checking in late.

I love the downstairs decor, they hold FABULOUS weddings and events here and I was able to witness a wonderful Nigerian Wedding and all its pomp and glory and the wonderful decorations the hotel provided for the nuptials The rooms are clean and adequate for me but perhaps a bit small for couples. The bathrooms are small but functional if a little “tired” looking. There was an automatic light in there so you had to keep the door closed or it would pop on and off! They provide a buffet breakfast (included) which for me was perfect but maybe if you want a full English you’d need to get up early as by 9am there’s very little left! There is also on site parking which is very safe. All in all I like it here for what I need and it’s my second year using it

Ok, it’s not in an exactly “nice” area, it’s a bit seedy set among industrial type businesses and buildings. As for the rooms they need a bit of an update and the beds are like a rock! Great if you don’t have bone/back issues but a nightmare if you do. The shower tray in my room (103) was positively dangerous as it was very very slippery and I had to hold on for dear life or I’d have fallen, I didn’t ask for a mat etc as I was only there 2 nights but would have if I had been there longer. There wasn’t a towel bath mat and the housekeeper just told me to use a regular towel to stand on outside the shower!

Staff was very friendly Parking was a bonus

Breakfast was bad Not even fresh coffee but sachets like in the rooms. OK for the room but not for breakfast.

I liked everything about the hotel. It was conducive for myself and my family, and the comfort was exceptional. We had a great time, and the staff was all welcoming. The environment was calm and perfect. I would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a nice, affordable, and conducive hotel to stay. Thank you so much Grand Sapphire Hotel.

I liked how it looks very modern with a beautiful marble floor and the receptionist is very welcoming. Also having a complimentary cold/ hot breakfast is nice not a Huge variety though.

I didn’t like how it was very hard to use my key for my door and to open the handle and then it wouldn’t work. You almost have to listen to the rhythm of the beep and push down hard on the handle.

The location was perfect and the free parking with manned security was fab, also there is free parking on the roads outside as it’s like an industrial estate. Clean room, lots of free toiletries and plenty of coffee and tea, plus a fridge and hairdryer. Although it’s on a builders industrial estate, there’s a few retail parks about with Costa, KFC, Nando’s etc, and a Morrisons a 10 min walk away. But as I was in for the night, I had no problem ordering food to the hotel. It was a pleasant stay, lovely staff - I left before the complimentary breakfast but I’m sure that would’ve been sufficient anyway :)

There was a wedding going on which meant around midnight there was a lot of noise running up and down the corridor outside my room, but I suppose that couldn’t be helped.

Rooms are clean, free parking on site, and breakfast was average but had everything you need. It's a complimentary breakfast. The lady at reception Louisiana, checked us out, she was very polite and understanding of our complaint regarding the noise outside. Overall, my stay was great, if only we weren't woken up by outsiders arguing!

People were arguing outside on the street loudly which woke us up. So, I'm not too happy about that.

Nice good but can improve with breakfast time for airport travellers

Could be cheaper because it £20 to travel from Croydon which added to the cost if knew I would have stat in croydon centre. Nice place but was 4 milles from Croydon which add to cost the stay. A little more discount will encourage people to travel that far to the hotel it nice bur far so a cheaper price will attract more people. Because distance thanks

Loved the decor, beautiful and felt v. Special. The breakfast was more than I thought I expected pastries and coffee but got a hot breakfast so thank you.

At first the bell hop I had to do myself, so I had to pull along the corridor at first and got a sore back. But at checkout I asked for help and all was well. Unfortunately, the tap wasn't working very well took me a while to figure out how to get the cold water. But other than that all was well.
