Great location, 5 minutes from the waterfront and hub of activity, and centrally located for nearby galleries and small, specialist shops, as well as many national chains. Charming room, and well-designed bathroom with gorgeous rustic tiling. The bed was cosy and comfortable (although, being of an age, our backs would have preferred a firmer mattress). Beautifully presented breakfast and every item was delicious. We were met each morning with freshly squeezed orange juice, a beautiful freshly prepared fruit salad with such a variety of fruits and berries - my husband added his to a very nice, creamy porridge - and cooked breakfast items, toast and jams, etc. Lots of helpful advice from our hosts who were very good at keeping in touch to ensure a smooth arrival, as well as being friendly and helpful throughout our short stay.
There is no nearby parking (on street parking not always available, or available on market days) which involves taking the Park & Ride. However, with an app for topping up parking each day, and the frequent bus service to the car park, the only real inconvenience was carrying our luggage to the property, a 5 minute walk from the bus stop, and was more than compensated for by the central location.

Amazing find-one of the best establishments we have stayed at in Dartmouth! Nikki and Mitch were fantastic hosts they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. They kept us fully informed of available options at their B&B prior and during our stay. Nikki signposted us to nearby areas where we could park for the whole duration of our stay for free. Very comfortable, well appointed, exceptionally clean accomodation and the breakfast could only be described as exceptional it far exceeded our expectations. Located on the level and set back in a quiet location, in the central area of Dartmouth we found this establishment to be an absolute gem! We couldn't have wished for better, our hosts ensured service with a smile where nothing was too much trouble! Thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Anzac B and Bistro... we will be back!
Absolutely nothing!

From Trevor Hyland On the day I entered the property Nicky welcomed me and showed me to my beautiful bedroom and shower room where I found everything spotlessly clean and inviting. During my stay the rest of the staff Mitch, Flo and Omar gave excellent service and were always on hand to give me any help or advice I needed. I used the restaurant on 4 of my 5 night stay and the menu gave a great choice and found all the meals to be delicious and beautifully presented and fell in love with the Dartmouth Gin. Will definitely be back not only for the Gin but to enjoy such a welcoming and well run 5 star establishment.
There was nothing that I disliked.

The location is absolutely perfect. Nestled in the heart of Dartmouth, everything easily accessible and with walking distance. The B&B itself has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, our room was spacious with homely touches that made us feel most welcome. Breakfast was another highlight, all beautifully cooked and presented. Nicky and Mitch are friendly and attentive hosts, knowledgeable about the area and happy to offer recommendations for activities and dinning.

We loved everything about the Anzac Bistro and accommodation. We immediately felt welcome as soon as we set foot through the door. The restaurant was in full swing, yet Nicky, Mitch and their staff were gracious and welcoming, and always had time to stop to chat. We really enjoyed and appreciated the personal contact we had with our hosts, which we felt really made our stay special. Their local knowledge and helpful information (re car parking, river taxis, etc!) was invaluable to us and put a whole different light on our first visit to Dartmouth. Our room, with modern ensuite, was very elegantly and attractively decorated, clean, comfortable, spacious and a wee haven, accessible directly from the restaurant below. We ate in the restaurant that evening and for breakfast the next 2 days. We felt we had landed in a little corner of France! Cosy, intimate and tasteful decor and every meal worthy of Michelin stars, in our opinion. We couldn't rate it highly enough and would love to return to stay again! Thank you very much, Nicky and Mitch!
There was nothing we didn't like!

Beautiful property in a side street just off the quay but peaceful, and so stylish and homely. Built in the 1700s, it had a real sense of history alongside excellent modern facilities such as a fantastic bathroom! It was run be a really lovely couple, who work hard to make things just right for guests. The breakfasts were gorgeous….. fresh, clean and well presented.
Absolutely nothing! Really couldn’t find anything that could be improved!

Clearly running hospitality for others to enjoy is a vocation for Nicki and Mich. The location could not be better, a quiet (seagulls excepted) side street just off the centre of town. For a property of its age, they have retained the character and created modern facilities and comfort, a wonderful combination.
As with most properties in Dartmouth, parking needs planning, our hosts soon had that fixed for us, not an issue!

The hotel could not have a better location, just a few minutes walk from everything you need in Dartmouth but without the noise and traffic. Inside there was a calm and peaceful atmosphere and a very warm friendly welcome. The breakfast was exceptional, a fabulous fruit salad to start, cereals and a choice of cooked items. Very good. We used the restaurant for dinner and had a lovely meal. All the staff were good and were knowledgeable about the items on the menu. The food was great.
It would be hard to find something to moan about.

The breakfast was superb, fresh fruit and wonderfully presented cooked breakfast! We had scrambled eggs and smoked salmon....delicious! The room was large and comfortable with plenty of space for our "stuff" the shower was good and powerful, a great night's sleep in site of the seagulls doing their best to spoil it!!!
Nothing to do with the Anzac but parking in Dartmouth is a problem!

The B&B is ideally located, just off the main area, Dartmouth is lovely with some nice restaurants bars and cafes, you can catch the lower ferry, that takes you to the Dartmouth steam railway. Mitchell and Nicky were lovely, and were great hosts.
The church is just across the road, so if you are a light sleeper, just take into account, the clock sounds on the hour.
