Helpful pleasant staff. Plenty of room. We had a handicapped room and it was very good

Both days breakfasts - £13 each! - we asked for Butter because there was none on display. The Sunday they only had Flora spread and blamed a large club that were there. They should have catered for them.......... On Monday when asked the waitress said there was non of either. After complaining some butter was found - frozen solid and placed in a bowel of ice cubes! it was unusable. After complaining when we checked out we were told there were problems with their suppliers. For the price we paid there problems were not our problem..............We received an apology and were told it would be discussed at the next management meeting. Not good enough I feel.

The hotel is beautiful the staff so friendly. Overall a great stay. And a refreshment table was set out for everyone returning from the grand prix which was very lovely to have set out. I would recommend this hotel to people and I would stay again.

The price was only so expensive because it was the weekend of the British GP so I expected to pay alot more for a hotel that weekend. But it was one of the better priced hotels avaliable. I think if I wasn't going to the grand prix and I was visiting the area I probably would have arranged my trip for a different weekend.

Pleasant room not too far from reception (always a bonus if you don't have to walk miles down corridors!). Ticked all the boxes for us. Loved the pool (which is why we chose the hotel) - very warm!

Horrified to arrive in the car park and find dozens of notices telling us we had to pay to park (£10 per day for residents). I could understand it in a city centre but not out of town Daventry! I arrived in reception in a foul mood having not expected this additional expense only to discover we didn't have to pay by putting our car reg into a pad! I only hope my husband put the correct number in otherwise you face a £100 fine. Hardly a warm welcome, so unnecessary and also an unnecessary expense for the hotel.

Wonderful spacious rooms with a luxurious & comfortable bed. There was real thought in knowing their clientele would be wedding guests as they provided free parking, free shuttle at night & the 12PM checkout was fantastic! We loved not having to rush after breakfast.

The staff weren’t the most friendly - when we arrived four different receptionists were standing at the desk, and not a single one greeted us and only spoke to us after we had entered our vehicle on the tablet registration.

Arrived late in the evening and really wanted a cup of tea but no tea making facilities in the room. Tv volume felt muted. Difficult to hear clearly even with volume up. I'm assuming this was done intentionally so as not to disturb people in other rooms but felt it was too quiet. My hearing is adequate.

Good sized room with everything you needed - but no drawers for small clothing which was a surprise. Breakfast was buffet style with an excellent choice of foods. Dinner was very good with superb attention from the head waitress

We were surprised to be told that after booking dinner for 7pm, when we entered the restaurant, the staff were busy serving a coach party and we were told the next available sitting would be 8.30pm. After explaining to the head waitress that we had pre-booked, she accommodated us immediately - good for her ! I found it odd that a lower payment for a tour group took precedence over the full paying guests!

We had several issues with our room. When we informed Lydia at reception, she immediately, and without any fuss, offered a change of room, which we accepted and were happy with. Thank you Lydia.

Is this hotel starting to show its age with regard to the rooms? Hair dryer not working; one of the two light bulbs above the wash basin not working; toilet flush only working intermittently; wash basin waste pipe leaking at the 'U' bend trap on to the floor below and causing a slip hazard; telephone missing; desk lamp missing. Thankfully, our replacement room didn't have any of these issues.

Room was a lovely size, overlooking the garden. Bed was comfy, bathroom clean. Hotel reception and pool staff were very helpful and polite. Plenty of parking on site. Pool was a great size, with sauna and steam room available for use.

We wanted an evening drink (about 9.30pm) in the bar after a day of travelling and tea out however there was a wedding event in the function room and as that bar was clearly busy, they were spilling into the hotel main bar. There was only 1 member of staff on this bar, we were queued for a while, gave up, and had an early night as we were up early for an event the following day. Other hotel guests were doing the same. The only other small thing was the soaps/body wash dispensers in the bathroom in the room were empty.

Liked location, parking, staff, lovely breakfast, lots of space, warm welcome by reception who put are car registration in the booking in system which gave us the free parking. Good pool for the kids.

Although sign's are up in abundance. They are still confuseing, maybe if you have to add your car registration to your booking, It could go through automatically. Some outdoor play for the kids.

Spacious room, good wifi, good reading spotlight, comfortable beds, luggage trolly available, good size safe, good bar staff, large car park.

Didn't prebook breakfast and was quoted £16.50 so went downtown. Lacklustre evening meal. Couldn't find room temperature controller. Towel rail positioned abve the toilet so potential for towel to fall into toilet.
