The Old Mill is a beautiful building, full of character, very tastefully furnished and with lots of interesting artwork and other items to look at. Yvonne and Alan were the perfect hosts, making us feel very welcome in their home and giving us the feeling nothing would have been too much trouble. We loved looking out on to their wonderful garden and the mill stream before enjoying a lovely breakfast, which more than set us up for the day. And watching the puppies play fighting in the garden was an added bonus!

Beautiful house in the country side, at night we could hear the water flow from the stream near the house and It made It wonderful to sleep there. The room was very nice, with a lot of space to move around and equipped with all we needed. Yvonne and Alan made us feel at home, they were helpful in every aspect of our stay, from info to get there to restaurants suggestions. Breakfast was really delicious.

We liked everything. We felt welcome.

The room was beautiful. Very peaceful and quiet. The bed was comfortable with a heated blanket on offer. Lovely bathroom with plenty of hot water. Usual drinks on offer plus kettle. Excellent breakfast. I was made to feel very welcome and safe.

I found WiFi difficult to connect with and the TV too had limited options. However this lack of connectivity helped me to kick back and relax on the sofa with a book !

Lovely old watermill in a beautifully tranquil setting. We stayed a couple of nights when attending a family wedding. Yvonne & Alan were extremely welcoming, offering suggestions & contact details for places we might eat. Super comfortable beds, great showers, and a really good selection of teas, coffee, etc. in the room. Highlight of our stay was the breakfast, so much choice and all beautifully cooked and presented - we loved it!

Our hosts were super friendly and made us feel very welcome throughout whole stay! Even treated us to a lovely bottle of bubbly as was our anniversary. We couldn't fault anything about our stay. The room was lovely and spacious and decorated well. Breakfast was cooked amazing .. well done chef :) also had fruit salad which you could taste how fresh the fruit was! The location was lovely and quiet too but loved coming out and seeing a swan and baby ducklings in the river outside. We would deffo visit again and highly recommend to our friends and family to stay here.

That we had to leave after only 2 nights.. we wanted to stay longer!

The country setting added to the impression of solidity in the Old Mill, a former industrial building beautifully restored and updated. Formerly being run as an art gallery, there was an interesting collection of art works throughout the house. From arrival, the friendliness of Alan and Yvonne was shown in their welcome. Nothing was any trouble. The room was spacious, with a large bed, a couple of armchairs, wardrobe etc. Plenty of room for personal items. Breakfast was very generous each day, taking account of dietary needs; both vegetarian. We will certainly want to return. The stay exceeded our expectations.

Forethought and planning ensured that there was nothing that we could fault.

The hosts were very lovely & looked after us really well. The breakfast was yummy. We felt we were staying with a relative of ours. Felt very much at home. The room was very good size and well kept. The village location was very quiet and easily accessible to various attractions we wanted to visit. The host were very knowledgeable about the tourist attraction and guided accordingly.

A warm welcome from Yvonne and Alan was experienced. The large room was so comfortable and 'homely'. Furnishings were of a high standard and the en suite was very clean. I note previous comments about breakfast and can only support those (absolutely lovely). Talking cricket with Alan was also a great pleasure !

Yvonne and Alan were an absolute joy and made us feel so welcome. We would definitely choose to stay at The Old Mill in the future. The Room was spacious and spotlessly clean. We could not have asked for a more pleasant stay.

Owners were very friendly. The room was very large and spacious. Nice bathroom and shower. The breakfast was excellent with the Full English being plentiful and very tasty.

The bed was not uncomfortable but a little on the shallow side. Everything else was great.
