The hotel is in lovely quiet grounds, check in was easy and the lady on check was incredibly helpful, we found our room easily. Lots of lovely extras in the room such as drinks and popcorn and snacks which were replenished the next day. The room was incredibly clean and comfortable with robes and a good shower. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. we would definitely return here as overall we had a nice stay.

Hearing doors slamming and you can hear quite clearly when some is chatting next door or has their tv on. The drinks are a little expensive at the bar but it’s to be expected at a hotel like this. Apart from the lady on check in, the staff we found the staff not particularly friendly and a little aloof but we didn’t have a great deal of interaction with them.

Breakfast had plenty of variety but needs to be restocked more quickly. Serviettes should be placed next to hot plates at the serving area. Staff are efficient and friendly. Facilities are good, sitting areas in lounge are excellent. Staff are friendly and efficient.

No towel hook in the bathroom next to the sink for handtowel. A small fridge in the room would be good idea. Bedrooms for people with dogs should be in one area. Our bedroom seemed to be surrounded by dog owners the hallway did smell of dogs.

We stayed here for three nights. The property itself is spacious, modern and has beautiful decor. Lovely beautiful and relaxing outdoors. We had our meal at the restaurant, the food was good cooked and served to perfection. The breakfast in the morning was tasty, you can tell that there was a lot of thought on the ingredients and quality of products used.

Our room 274 was the last room of the hotel and it made it difficult to access the fitness centre because of the distance. It felt like we walked a mile just to go to the lobby, the lifts were a distance to access coming from the second floor at the last end of the corridor were we were.

Amazing hotel, beautiful spacious room & a comfy bed. The hotel staff couldn't of been more accommodating, shout out to the restaurant staff who were so friendly, caring and welcoming. The evening meals were beautiful and so much choice on the buffet breakfast, we found it very peaceful place with beautiful grounds. we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and again!

The only things we can find as a negative which is minor is the games room needs a bit of tlc snooker table /pool table need refelting and markings on the tables but still greatful that we could use the room. I would recommend if you have mobility issues try and ask for a room near the reception as its a long walk but not really a negative.

Nice large bed, very comfy. Large smart TV in the room. Game room was a great addition, every major hotel should have one. Staff were lovely.

Bar didn't have menu or prices displayed anywhere. Breakfast was tasty but lacked variety, we stayed there for few days and by the end we didn't even bother eating it. Would be nice to have water fountains somewhere, we had our water bottle refilled by one of the staff and it tasted and smelled like it was refilled from the swimming pool. We had to buy water. Water pressure was very weak in the shower.

The room was lovely, spacious and very clean the housekeeping take pride in their work and it shows. Having a car park right near the entrance to where the rooms are also made life so much easier, there is a tonne of parking so never had to worry about finding a good space too. Because we had booked this room to stay in during Download festival it was nice knowing we didn't have to worry about bothering any reception staff when we would come back quite late, overall I genuinely couldn't have been any happier with everything - I wish we had more time to use the facilities in the hotel as they all looked so good so will definitely have to come back to do so.

Room service is a little bit pricey and the water pressure in the day isn't as good.

Breakfast had a good variety of choices. We arrived at 9:15 am and majority of items have been cleared. Suggest Buffet should remain open until 10 am for tired travelers. In room 168, felt like miles to the pool using inside halls. Room was good size, wifi worked.staff very friendly, especially Danny in the lounge.

We are used to ac. I understand that this is not usual however they need to screen the windows to allow for a bug free room so we can open the windows to allow air circulation.Pillows are very hard and bed is extremely firm. Streets in town difficult at night for American drivers.

Rooms were lovely Facilities are fabulous Food was good, breakfast was delicious Dinner was nice, good menu Staff were great, friendly and attentive. Swimming pool nice, games room is great for kids and adults, pool table, snooker table, table tennis and Xbox Nice toiletries in the room, lovely drinks/snacks tray and even the dog had his own bowl, blanket and treats 😀 Good sized tv and modern room. Grounds are vast and wonderful I will definitely stay here again 💯%

Our room was quite a walk from the restaurant/reception/bar area but I was fine with that but some people, especially elderly might prefer to be nearer to facilities.

The facility for our family group of 16 was great! Lots of areas of couches for us to find our own corner to visit and have coffee (& birthday cake!). Even the toddlers had space to play and wander inside and out. The teens enjoyed the games room & tennis court (when it finally stopped raining!) Very friendly and accommodating staff. Everything very clean. Great coffee machines!

Our one complaint is that there was no family swimming at all during our weekday arrival! If you welcome families in July to a hotel with such facilities, most would expect at least a couple of hours a day allowing family pool time! (Some of us came over from other countries so we had no idea school holidays began so late in the UK!)
