Clean, spacious, brilliant views & so easy to get into town & the airport. It was a corner flat , so had views of the sea, The Royal Yacht Britannia & Edinburgh Castle in the distance which was lit up, but I don’t know if this was because the Christmas market was on. There is a bus stop about 5 minutes away & a lovely harbour with places to eat about 10 minutes away. We walked to the dock to see Britannia which also has a shopping centre & this probably took 25 minutes. There is also a large Asda & the tram about 15 minutes away. We found the transport links very good & there is a choice of bus tours in the city. It’s in ideal position if you want to stay slightly out of Edinburgh itself which we did , but also able to get there within 15 minutes. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing, to us it was perfect & had everything we needed.

Apartment was warm and comfortable with mainly good facilities and easy check in and out. Bus stop to city right outside and good car parking facilities.

Had stayed there before and that time was given a great bag with lots of Scottish treats. Very disappointed that this was not a feature this time as the accommodation is not cheap and it was a feature that encouraged me to re-book. Could do with a chest of drawers within the wardrobes in the bedrooms as nowhere to put clothes that don't need hanging up. Also could do with a small table somewhere in the hallway for keys etc. A floor lamp in the lounge would be nice.

A nice Xmas chocolate welcome pack was very appreciated. The apartment was very clean and spacious. It had a decent kitchen with accessories. Heaters worked well and gave instant heat. Great showers. All round very nice. Would definitely stay here again if in Edinburgh again. Also 24 hour Asda within 10 minute walk or less. Very good store. I must say the bus service was exemplary and ran like clockwork. We used the buses and they were always on time. £2 for a one way and £5 for a daily pass is very good.

Initial access wasn’t easy but we met a lovely family who showed us what to do as we arrived after 6pm and although I had been emailed I hadn’t seen it yet with all the key jcodes on.

The apartment was amazing! We stayed on the 7th floor and enjoyed a beautiful view. It was very spacious and located in a new, modern area. We rented a car, and the property provided safe and secure parking in a garage, which was a big plus. To visit the city center, we took bus number 11, that pass every 12 minutes which conveniently takes you straight to the heart of Edinburgh. Driving into the center isn’t worth it, as parking fees are very high—ranging from £7.50 to £12 per hour.

The only thing we didn’t like was being asked to take out the rubbish ourselves, which we’ve never experienced before, especially when paying for a stay. While it wasn’t a pleasant part of our experience, it’s a minor issue, and overall, the stay was very good. I’m sharing this feedback as a suggestion for improvement.

The Ocean Service Apartment we rented was immaculately clean when we arrived and was cleaned once more during our 10 day stay. The kitchen was well fitted out with essentials for cooking and cleaning. The washer/dryer was a lifesaver ( we did have to buy det/softener) Staff responded quickly to a request for an extra duvet. It was quiet and peaceful. While the location is a little further out from the city center, bus service ( we got rida cards) is very reliable and so clean and courteous. Travel time to city center was never more than 30 min and sometimes less. And the rides were a welcome rest for the feet and gave us a good idea of the city layout and streets we wanted to explore. Proximity (walking distance) to the local grocery was convenient. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 to stretch out and relax and eat meals together.

The doors Thst do not stay open was a minor annoyance. It was bothersome to have to buy a big box of laundry detergent and fabric softener since we knew we’d only do a couple of loads. Access to complementary laundry detergent sheets or on site purchase of those in a smaller size would have been nice. A mixing bowl would have come in handy.

Beautiful apartment with stunning views over the city and the harbour, with excellent public transport into the city. Everything was provided to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. There is a local supermarket nearby, and Ocean Serviced Apartments will arrange deliveries if required. When it came to dining out, we were spoilt for choice. There is a huge range of local restaurants catering for all tastes

It would have been helpful to know local transport provision to/from the airport/city in advance. The tram was easy - start at airport and finish at Newhaven, but we were delighted to discover the local bus into the city was so close to the apartment.

Rooms only. Clean all through with tea,coffee and milk sachets in the fridge and dish soap and dish washer tablets provided . Location good and near the bus terminus so easy transport into centre of Edinburgh. Secure parking garage and lift made things easy .

The decor was chipped in a few places so could do with a freshen up . The glass in the wardrobe doors in one bedroom was cracked . Only a usb point in one bedroom so for two couples was awkward to share .

The location was great. easy access to the bus and city, shops and walks. The apartment was easy to access once we worked out where it was, and having somewhere safe to park the car was great. Everything we needed was there. Very comfortable.

Accessing the keys and the right block. Was an hour trying to find the right block and finding keys then finding where to go from there. Others trying at the same time had just as much confusion and difficulty as us. Not well signed or put in communications on phone. Hard to locate anyone for help after hours. Very stressful. You need to simplify your system of collecting the keys.

The entire process was so streamlined and easy. This had to be rebooked for a later time due to exceptional circumstances and the company/staff couldn't have been more helpful. Apartment had everything and more that we required and secure parking. Easy transport in and out of the city. Property was peaceful and I could not find anything I didn't like. Full instructions to help use various appliances around the apartment and even a nightlight that converted to a torch was so helpful in the hallway between the rooms. Everything we needed was there and all the little extras. This property was more expensive than I would usually look at as we are usually happy with a clean cheap as possible bed with shower but although I paid a bit more it was completely justified as you don't just get a clean bed and bathroom here. All those extra things and so much space and the peacefulness of the accommodation and ease of the booking and checking in and out etc etc does justify it completely. I could write so much more about what was good but I try to keep it brief as possible. We will absolutely stay here again when visiting Edinburgh. It was brilliant.

The bedroom windows didn't have some sort of catch so we could leave them ajar at night and would be helpful but there was nothing that I didn't like. Was all great in my opinion

Very clean and tidy in a brilliant location, with parking. Within easy reach of the Newhaven tram stop for car-free access into Edinburgh. Staff were very helpful and actually let us check in to the apartment early as we were busting for the loo after a long drive! Apartment was clean and tidy in a nice quiet location with a great view overlooking the harbour with huge cruise liners visible through our living room window. Great stuff! Bed were soft and comfy. Tea/coffee facilities were present along with pots and pans for cooking a meal if you felt so inclined (we didn't!). I can highly recommend it. It's great for easy access into Edinburgh, and Newhaven itself is lovely.
