Denata, Rachel and Ailsa (the evening crew) were very very nice and were a real pleasure to chat to. It made me / us feel not so lonely in a new city. Denata especially helped me when I originally wanted to cancel the booking due to the LNER Rail strike (we were afraid that we would not be able to return to the USA on time). She went out of her way to fix it and it took alot of stress off of us (i.e that we would lose 808 Brit Pounds). We finally made it to Edinburg as we learnt that the Strike date was fixed and would not affect us. While at the hotel we were treated warmly - like friends and family. We LOVE all that they did. Much Blessings to your business and all the other staff.

Room is a bit small for 2 grown men but we managed!

Great location within easy walking distance of Haymarket, Princess Street/Grassmarket and my son's Uni accommodation. Well designed comfortable and clean room that had everything I needed. Informal yet professional vibe and I liked the buffet style continentel breakfast. Best bit - the staff were really helpful, attentive and smiley!

There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the hotel room, however, there is a bar in the reception area open 24/7 where you can get good coffee and tea with real milk (also soft drinks and alcohol) so this wasn't really a downside for me. Another excellent member of staff serving here who remembered how I liked my tea! (and I'm an invisible middle-aged white woman)

Breakfast had variety, fresh breads, fresh fruit, cereal, fresh pastries, savoury and sweet, Juices, it was really excellent Value for money. In short A very healthy breakfast. The Breakfast Staff were certainly on top of their game, friendly and nothing was a problem. A big shout out to Christine on reception a very professional & friendly member of Staff...In addition to this the Staff are a big addition to this hotel..just so helpful, considerate and with a sense of humour..A gerat pint of locally brewed IPA always served with a smile....All day free Coffees & Teas available in the Hotel lounge area..Best of luck for the rest of the holiday season...Keep up the great work...seriously, I hope your management appreciate the lengths ye guys go to..

Double Rooms are very Small..really they are single rooms at best..But rooms were comfortable,,and Shower/toilet en-suite was perfect. All Electrics are touch button with mood lighting interesting feature..

For a quick trip, basic hotel, this is perfect. It's smart and well positioned. 5 minute walk from the tram stop and about 10 minutes from the castle. Staff were very nice and let us drop our bags off before and after we checked in. Breakfast was basic but tasty, really good pastries. The rooms are basic and small but clean and comfortable. Aircon is very effective. Noise seems to travel from the closing and opening of other doors. Not the ideal type of room for a longer stay or if you intend to spend a lot of time in it but for a quick trip, it's perfectly fine.

Nothing significant at all. Not great rooms for a long trip due to the size.

We stayed in this hotel for the Beyonce concert. Prices were high because of this however, we didn't need to spend money on travel/transport into the city! Everything was in walking distance! We got a bus from the airport which dropped us to a bus stop 5 minutes away from the hotel. There is a tram also available. The bus was less that 10 pounds each return. The hotel is situated in a great location. Check in was easy and they had our room ready for us early that morning! Staff were so welcoming and kind and extremely helpful with everything. Our room was big and spacious. There was no hot buffet for breakfast but it was only 9 pounds for a buffet of continental breakfast. There was a nice selection to eat.

Just an overnight stay and we did not have breakfast. Rooms were comfortable and clean and staff friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a good location for Haymarket and Edinburgh and within easy walking distance to explore. Nice reception area with tea and coffee and other drinks available.

Kettle and coffee/ tea making facilities in room would have been a great addition as although available in reception we like a morning coffee in our room. Price for room was high but as it was the first weekend of the Festival prices were much higher than usual.

The room we booked was perfect for our one-night stay. The room is small but it's all we needed, if you're booking a longer stay you may be disappointed. The location was perfect for us and close to everything. The staff were so lovely and more than accommodating. The TV had Chromecast which was great so we could watch Netflix or listen to Spotify as we got ready. The room had air-con which was also great! Overall, a great stay in Edinburgh and the price was great!

It's not a negative but just bear in mind, the rooms are quite small.

i had to rush for a tour trip and left the hotel before 7a.m. on Sunday and the staff members offered me to take a bag of goodies with me as i had paid for breakfast.. this was much appreciated

i had my sleep disrupted during one of the nights by a throbbing sound, which i believe is the ventilation system.. turns out if you don't switch on the AC/fan in your room, the sound of the whole ventilation system dominates.. and that is a little disturbing.. i reported the issue and the staff members promised to look into it

The hotel was very clean with friendly staff always available on reception. They let us leave our bags both before check-in and after when waiting for our flights home. They also helped book us taxis into the centre of town and helped direct us to tram stops. The room was very nice and functional with a nicely fitted out bathroom and shower which worked well.

The only criticism was the lack of tea or coffee making facilities in the room or a fridge to keep snacks/drinks. another slight criticism was trying to work out how to change the air con temperature which took a little while to figure out.

Location - great! About 15-20mins from the castle and about 7 mins from all the shops, cafés and bars Comfort - the beds were amazing, clean sheets, clean bathrooms - very very little space to put your things away as there was only one bedside table and one pull-out chair for two people, only one "shelf" that was overflowing with our things even though we only packed very lightly. If you are someone that travels with a suitcase, I would recommend not to get the most affordable room but something bigger. The bathroom was very clean, but again, very very cramped - cannot imagine if I was twice my size, don´t think I would fit. Staff - very friendly on day one, but for the other times they saw us coming in and out of the reception, only half of them said hello, they just talked amongst each other half the time :) Breakfast - did not have any but it looked and smelled delicious! Overall - would recommend for a 2-3 night stay if you spend most of your time outside the hotel :)
