The room was well appointed. Bed nice and big and comfortable. Extra pillows available were a good idea. Shower room compact but well fitted. Breakfast was good. Evening meal was good. Free parking. Room very clean. Lots of fluffy towels and robes.Room was quiet. Great cocktails and beer selection in bar.

The carpet up the stairs to the room was really grubby. The room was lovely but the simple black blind could be covered by some nice curtains.it seemed outbof place. Some fixtures in bathroom were rusting. Breakfast was nice but noise of staff in kitchen was distracting - shouting and shrieking

WHAT A FABULOUS PLACE TO STAY..SPOTLESS AND CLEAN, EXCELLENT FACILITIES.NICE LARGE EN-SUITE BEDROOMS. NICE ROSE GARDEN FOR DRINKING IN THE SUMMER. WELL COOKED AND PRESENTED FOOD, BOTH BREAKFAST AND DINNER.WELL CHOSEN MENU TO SUITE A WIDE AUDIENCE. LARGE CAR PARK, AND RIGHT IN THE CENTRE OF TOWN. BUT WHAT REALLY MAKES IT, IS THE FREINDLINESS OF ALL THE TEAM..HAVE STAYED A FEW TIMES NOW, AND ALWAYS CONSISTANLY EXCELLENT CHEERS .CHRIS GOMEZ

NOTHING , THE TEAM MADE SURE EVERTHING WAS PERFECT, BY CONTINUALLY TALKING TO ALL THE GUESTS, TO ENSURE THEY WERE HAPPY.

Staff very friendly and helpful and accoodating to my need for a room with a bath and upgraded me which I was very appreciative of. Breakfast was really delicious and plentiful, and the whole vibe of the place is just lovely. The room was beautiful, unexpectedly boutique and fancy, and I'd stay here again. The duvet was lush too. But I would definitely not stay in room 4.

In room 4 the bed was hideous! I barely slept at all. I checked the next morning and it looks like the mattress had collapsed on one side, or it felt like one of those cheap "yellow and blue shared house in London" type mattresses. Which was very unexpected as everything else was quite fancy. The window also wouldn't seal properly so cars going past all night kept waking me up and because it didn't close 100% cold air was pouring in which was fine as I like it cooler in the room but because I had to sleep on the side of the bed closest to the window I had the cold wind blowing in my face all night past the blind. Pillows were also way too fat and rock hard which made for a very uncomfortable night overall.

The bed was very comfortable and the shower was efficient. The room was clean and warm. Great tea and coffee options to choose from. There's a good choice of breakfast.. the full English breakfast was very tasty. Friend and I had an evening meal at the hotel restaurant, it was a very good dinner, we had the lamb, the fish and the Eynsford Mess. It was beautifully presented and really delicious. We will definitely be eating at the restaurant again.

The room and the bathroom were very small, the toilet was too close to the facing wall.

Fabulous staff, lovely breakfast and lunch. Very comfortable bed and great coffee machine.

Only a minor gripe. The shower room was very small, and due to the shape of the wash basin, there was nowhere to put small items. It is difficult to put contact lenses in if there's nowhere near the basin to put the container or solutions. It is a bit expensive based on stays at other similar properties.

Good, quiet location. The room was clean with a comfy bed. Tea and coffee options were lovely. On this occasion noted there is a coffee machine in the room, and I enjoyed the hot chocolate and coffee options. Fantastic breakfast and friendly staff. I have stayed several times and will be back.

The bathroom is small and awkward to use toilet as it's so close to the wall.

Room number 7 was was amazing with a huge bathroom and bathrobes included ! Overlooked the high street with lots light. Bed was very comfortable. Lots of room.. 3 rooms in total. Very quiet at night. Full English breakfast was amazing. Staff were all very friendly

I smoke … when going outside in the smoking area at night there was no lights at all ( maybe I missed a switch but it was too dark to see ! )

Stayed a few weeks previously. Really comfortable room with nice luxury touched. Bed comfortable. Great bar and restaurant downstairs. Room is quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast is OK. You choose from a menu. Service excellent but Food quality and presentation is average. (Poached eggs over cooked, bacon overcooked hard and crispy. (Different chef from the evening?) Would rather have option to not have breakfast included in price.

Breakfast lovely. Beds sooo comfy!! Decor calming. Homely feel. Downstairs managed to be bar/pub/coffee lounge/restaurant all at once, due to clever styling and decor. Lovely service hours - we arrived at 7.30 and were able to eat as service was til 9pm. The food was really excellent and very well presented.

Only 2 sets of towels, 2 robes and 2 mugs despite being a room for 3 adults (it didn’t matter to us - we shared - but might have to others.) I am certain this would have been rectified immediately had we pointed it out - our broken lightbulb was replaced immediately once we’d mentioned it so can’t fault the customer service :)). We would have liked a fan in the bathroom, but otherwise it was great !

Pub and food was very good. Staff very friendly. Would stay again. Location lovely.

Coffee machine very temperamental. Called a member of staff to look at it as it spilled everywhere. Very prompt at sorting it out. Pillows were so high! Waited over half an hour for breakfast, but very nice food, so worth the wait. Just glad we weren't in a rush. Room very small, although we booked a small room so shouldn't be surprised!
