Excellent location for OVO arena. Only two drop off bays outside hotel, so best to go straight into the car park which is on the left just before the hotel. Nice pleasant staff. We were there of a concert and only just managed to get into the restaurant so book before hand. No issue with room. King side bed, clean and airy. Also a fridge in the room. Good free WiFi

The welcome message on the tv was a lovely touch. Check in staff made a mistake & I was allocated a room which customers were already in when I entered, this was embarrassing for all involved, however staff added complimentary breakfast for myself and kids. Bed was extremely comfortable too.

I like to strip the beds when leaving a hotel in order to give house keeping a head start, working in the industry, I know how hard this job can be as well as time consuming, however on doing so I discovered we had slept in dirty yellow stained pillows with a clean slip over the top. As someone with chronic pain condition, I n÷d to sit when doing hair and make up etc, this was impossible as there were no mirrors at the desk, and the seat was too large to move infront of a mirror.

- Great location, walking distance to and from Glasgow City Centre, well connected to Glasgow Central station via regular buses. - Reception desk was very helpful in checking us in and out. They even helped us with things to see and do in and around Glasgow with helpful maps with key locations highlighted. - Room service was flawless, and cleaning was spot on. - Restaurant was fairly good with good service and nice selection of food and drinks. - Lounge area was spacious yet cozy to spend some time in. Well laid out and inviting.

- My Ceasar Salad was just too salty regrettably and I had to send the dish back. I also passed along the feedback to the chef

Lovely clean, great looking rooms, beds were so soft and comfortable. Breakfast was really nice and had a really good selection available. Bar, breakfast and cleaning staff were all lovely.

Staff at the front desk were rather abrupt, as if they didn't want to be there and seemed annoyed when we asked if they could help us book taxis for the evening - several hours in advance - which in the end never turned up and they were apparently unable to ring to help find out where they were. So we ended up an hour late for our booked table. Also when checking in with the same staff, we asked for breakfast to be added to our stay, which we were told was fine, they'd add us on, only to find the next morning we hadn't been added. Thankfully the man running the breakfast service was lovely, sorted it, and was very helpful.

Got a discounted, spacious room with a view! Very clean, and the staff were so nice as well especially when they agreed to keep our luggage for a whole day and let us hang around the lobby. The screencast “connect your device” option on the tvs is awesome!

Our travel got disrupted and we ended up missing our first night in the hotel. We weren’t compensated. Could be booking.com’s fault though. The room should have had some crockery and cutlery and perhaps a bigger trash can. The housekeeping staff knocked on our door, early morning, for three days straight, very annoying.

The staff were superb - especially Kopi who was always on hand with a welcoming smile and a can do attitude with helpful advice whenever asked - all of the staff were brilliant but Kopi stood out as exceptional. The room was comfortable and the location was perfect for our trip to the Ovo. The breakfast was possibly the best I've had (although no marmite for toast)

Very little to be negative about, but if I had to point out negatives they would be - the room only had 1 chair so not great for relaxing for 2 friends and No Marmite at breakfast! But these didn't detract from the quality of the hotel

Good rooms, proximity to OVO makes this an ideal location. Midday checkout also great allowing time to have a relaxed breakfast before heading home.

At check-in the receptionist was not helpful. As there were 3 of us I had booked 2 rooms well in advance of stay. Over time I forgot I had booked one of the rooms in my friends name and not my own. Despite showing booking confirmation receptionist was very unhelpful and not interested. However, her colleague stepped and straightaway recognised the problem and sorted it within a couple of minutes. The fire alarm going off at 1am wasn't great but at least it works

comfy bed, quiet well sound proofed. location is relatively quiet but no event was on at the ovo when i visited. i used the little gym and was really nice and well kept. good basic equipment. View of the room over the cran was cool.

small room, not enough places to hang towels for 2 people, they ended up staying damp. didn't like the bathroom having glass partition as if you have to go to bed in the night you'll light up the room for the person still in bed. i'm sensitive to light. don't understand why a bible was provided still in 2024. coffee in room is instant coffee which is not a suitable replacement for coffee if you ask me. service at the hotel bar was so slow and there was a shortage of draught beer when we visited.

I was very impressed by this hotel. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Everywhere I looked was spotlessly clean. Excellent hospitality and facilities, and I was especially impressed by their offering of simple food choices after hours. We arrived after midnight a little hungry and were pleased to find that they had a selection of sandwich packets, pot noodles, crisps, and other similar food that could be purchased beside the front desk and taken up to the room. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, with great pillows. Excellent plug access, with the exception that some are too low to the surface beneath them, meaning that many plugs with a cord wired to the base of the plug won't fit, but their sockets also have USB ports which helps in many cases, and there are other sockets in the room which don't have this block so it's only a minor inconvenience. Shower, toilet and sink facilities were excellent. Pleasantly large windows.

The breakfast option was too expensive

The hotel was in a convenient location, with a nice modern and relaxed decor, easy access to a point for guests with mobility issues, room was well appointed and spacious, staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Limited selection on some bar/restaurant items but your super staff i.e Ellie and other staff tried their best to accommodate us and gave myself a free drink due to no white wine/prosecco available. Which was a lovely gesture from your bar/restaurant staff. Reception staff were welcoming and accommodating and upgraded our room to a larger accessable room which was a lovely gesture.

The only negatives were limited variety of drinks available at the bar/restaurant, and at the vending area with snacks and drinks too. I am aware that if the hotel is busy that items can become unavailable but a busy hotel should keep spare stock of water, drinks, alcoholic drinks, snacks for guests.
