Amazing location and staff. The price is unbeatable and the area is full of amazing spots to eat and explore. The breakfast is a nice way to start the day, and front desk staff are super helpful with any request.

No real complaints. For US travelers, just remember these are smaller rooms compared to what we see in the US. I spent a week at this property was able to stash my things and have space to move about.

Everything was great The rooms were so clean The staff was welcoming I'm satisfied with the service and if I'm visiting Glasgow again I know where I can stay😁💕 Such a good place

Just one thing to say In my opinion the staff could have put a little smile to the face because it's always charming if someone puts a smile on the face while welcoming Not complaining but she did a very good job and she knew what she was doing but a little smile could have made a lot big difference. Other than that she was the best

The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of choice - cooked breakfast was cooked to order. Location was very good and nice choice of restaurants and cafes. Staff very friendly and efficient throughout Sandyford Lodge and the breakfast team at Sandyford Hotel were excellent too. The stay was excellent value for money.

Breakfast room a little cramped.

The staff were welcoming , friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location close to the city centre and venues such as the SSE Hydro, Kelvingrove Park etc. A quiet area despite being close to Sauchiehall Street. Breakfast is available at an extra cost at the sister property just round the corner. The food was excellent and the choice is extensive if you want the full works. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Tea making facilities, shampoo provided. Room size was good. I would recommend this property and would stay here again.

The shower door didn't close completely and the toilet seat fixing needed tightening. I told the person at the reception desk who said that the room was due for a refurbishment soon. It was a basement room so the view wasn't great but for the price it was a minor consideration.

Very conveniently located in quiet street, a graceful crescent of Victorian townhomes. A short walk from Charring Cross station and only a block from the extensive Kelvingardens and Kelvinghouse Museum (free !) Many dinning options in area Kash and Ham were helpful and pleasant at the front desk

Very basic conditions, bathroom/shower were one flight down in basement It was all fine for an inexpensive night stay in Glasgow

Lovely hot breakfast served quickly

Breakfast is served at the cafeteria of a nearby property, and it is very nice! Lovely ladies work there, and the breakfast itself was big enough for me not to think about food for the next few hours. The staff at the reception were very polite and helpful - I accidentally locked myself out of my room once, and I got help immediately after coming to the reception. The surrounding area is very nice, with a park and a train station nearby, the property is not far from the city center - a 15 to 30-minute walk depending on whether you are in a hurry. The shower can be quite powerful and hot - perfect in this kind of weather.

With a separate shower room, it's very easy to forget the key on the table and lock yourself out when going, for example, to fill the kettle with water.

Located near great restaurants and pubs, museums and a lovely park in the best part of Glasgow. Our room was on the first floor and looked out on a nice street. We were lucky to have a front row seat for the UCI World Cycling Championships.

Some parts seemed a bit run down and you had to leave the lodge for breakfast.
