Loved the fact that my room had an attached washroom. It was a clean and warm room. Mattress was amazing and very comfortable to sleep.

No kitchen for heating food/drinking water or having a coffee with the room mates and chill in the hostel..would recommend to provide atleast a microwave and coffee/tea bags and some disposable utensils for residents in the sitting area.

I really loved the bedroom with bathroom inside of the room. The whole place is very nice.

Just missed shared kitchen, because Scotland is quite expensive for me and I would love to make my own food.

The en-suite bathroom was appreciated

Non-Courtesy of other guests ((( but that's not the hostels fault . Wish other guests could just be a bit more considerate to other guests in the room. I experienced 1 guest who had a bad cold (may have been flu or covid for all I know) and snored heavily. Unfortunately this person was on the bunkbed above me and kept me awake most of the night and another guest kept using the main room light instead of the bed lamp provided. Guests should also realise other people in the room also need to use the bathroom, why and how does it take anyone to be in there for 1 hour is beyond me, and totally unacceptable. Stay in proper hotel if you need this. Totally inconsiderate.!

The the staff was great when we arrived. He made us very welcome. Answered all the questions I needed answered. Unfortunately I never asked his name. Then Harry the guy on during the night. Again was welcoming when we arrived back. In all very good great stay. Have stayed before and will continue to stay again and again

There wasn't really anything I didn't like. But it would of been good if we could of had another chair to use in the room while there as there was 3 of us. I know there was a communal hall. But we wanted to be in our room. I'm not saying you have to add another chair. But just a chair we could of used while there.

Very hospitable & responsive staff. Great location just a few minutes walk from Charing Cross Station, & a few more minutes (with a hill) to Central Station. Walking distance from Kelvingrove Gallery/Museum, Kelvingrove Park, Coop supermarket and many bars, restaurants (Baby Grand is great!) Beds are comfortable and private, with curtains & lockers (BYO lock). High ceilings & clean decor lines make the space feel big. The room I was in only had 6 people, with an ensuite, & there wasn’t even a wait to use the bathroom. If there was: there are extra toilets near Reception. Nice sized lounge with tables and chairs utilised by many people. Luggage storage was easy & secure.

There’s no kitchen, but you can use a kettle, cup & cutlery which the staff will wash for you.

Room was great, really large but still with lots of charm and nice view of the beautiful building opposite. We only had one night here on the way back to London, got in late and checked out early but the whole experience was great. Guy on the front desk was super nice and welcoming despite our very late check in. Was close enough to Glasgow central that we are able to walk. Bed was super comfy too so had a great sleep after a long travel day!

Shower was a little small and would be tricky to get into if you're a bigger person, and there was a bit of mildew in the grout etc. but everything else was super clean.

Very nice place to stay if you are just looking for a place to sleep! Good walking distance into the city centre with amazing views along the way! Easy to get Ubers from! Considering so many people come and go from this place, the room was spotless, very clean and tidy!

I get it’s very cheap to stay so they have to add all the other costs on by making you purchase everything in there but a hand towel to dry my hands would be good lol other then that, nothing I didn’t like!

I like the way they do the cleaning everyday the bathrooms and the carpet , little station for charging the phone and the light can be volume up and down so it was perfect

Some of the guesses were too noisy very late and very early times of the days I know the hostel has nothing to do about it it’s just my personal opinion when you go somewhere and share the room with people you don’t know about I expect bit of respect that the other people might be too tired and doesn’t need to wake up early or don’t wanna be up very late

It is very spacious on the inside. The room was very big, bathroom too. The beds had privacy curtains, they were also very comfortable. The place is close to all the important things in the city center and conveniently close to train stop to make you transfers more easy

The property doesn't have any tourist city maps available for visitors but instead uses a poor quality overly enlarged image of one. The staff did it's best to help but I would have been easier if they just took a pad with maps from the tourist info and had it available

As usual, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The common room also allowed for some quiet work. The bed was comfortable and provided some privacy.

My only somewhat negative remark during this stay (there have never been any during previous stays) is that on this occasion I was in a different 10-bed dormitory, which is fine, but in this room downstairs (room 101, I think) my bed was very close to the door, and unfortunately, the hallway light was on all night long, and as the door had a glass window in it, there was more light around my bed (despite the curtains) whilst sleeping than I would have liked. It might be a good suggestion to perhaps cover that window to prevent light during the night. Thanks.
