Location and setting. Even though pods are relatively close you still manage your own privacy.

The girl Lauren at reception shouldn’t be in the service industry . Very poor representative of what in essence is a great business. Must say though… girl Rebecca was a breath of fresh air.

The lodges are beautiful, clean and cosy and in a perfect location! It was so cosy and the comfiest beds. The leaflet with information was great also.

The few interactions we had with the reception staff weren’t great. They weren’t very helpful and very dismissive one in particular was quite rude. There are many similar lodges in the area so when we next visit we will book somewhere else instead however no regrets as the lodges were perfect. We paid £50 for the smores kit which had things missing and by this time reception was closed so we couldn’t ask about it. Bad customer service can really ruin an experience.

Great location, beautiful sounds of the river all night. Breakfast was lovely.

The mattresses need to be flipped/rotated more often as there was an uncomfortable hole in mine. I would also like an option to turn off the spa bath at night as the intermittent heating can be annoying noise-wise. Also a 4pm in check in and 10am check out for the price you are paying is a bit unsatisfactory.

Superb location. Plenty of pre-arrival information including the location, eating places and taxi information. Nothing too much trouble for the staff (who managed to do everything without really being 'seen'). The pod is fabulous and like a little TARDIS - two grown adults spent 4 days/nights with luggage and didn't fall over each other! Kettle, toaster, microwave, power shower, hair dryer, tv, coffee pod machine, Denby crockery, storage space inc hangers, linen, towels, bath robes and fabulous underfloor heating. The hot tub was amazing 😍

The location was beautiful and peaceful. Rolling munros and a running river were an amazing backdrop to the rental. The breakfast basket had fresh, delicious goods with a good choice. Staff were friendly.

When we arrived at the reception, nobody was there and we waited 15 minutes to be seen to. When we got the keys, the cabin that we rented was a little dirty. It also wasnt as private as one would have hoped. Some marks and dust here and there (nothing terrible). Also, I had ordered extras such as double Prosecco and late checkout, we received a single Prosecco and checkout time still feels too early. Value for money didnt seem right in this case.

Romantic and cute. Beautiful location. Friendly helpful staff. Everything you need all on one compact space. Reviews on here had me a little worried when people said it was tired and not worth the money however you have to look at it in a different way. You are on holiday and there is a lot of maintenance and work involved in keeping these wee pods in good working order. It is luxury for an outdoor bolt hole by the river and you have a hot tub that gets cleaned and checked throughout the stay… it’s a very special memorable place and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Expensive yes but definitely worth it. …

A Mat to wipe feet and keep the floor clean would have been great.

The breakfast is amazing , feels remote, very relaxing. Beautiful surroundings.

We have stayed a riverbeds a few times but not this lodge before. Our lodge didn’t have the sitting area inside and the person who stayed before had left their shoes in a storage area so it hasn’t been cleaned out properly. This lodge felt a little older than the ones we had previously stayed at and the bathroom sink was blocked. I told the girl at reception and she was very apologetic. She came to get the shoes and I said it was fine we would just wash hands and brush teeth in kitchen sink. The shower unit smelt of damp and there was some mould inside. This didn’t stop us from enjoying our stay, it just didn’t feel as 5 star as it had done previously. Next time we would ask for a different lodge as we have always had a fantastic experience here before⭐️

The location was amazing, facilities were great too, sink in hot tub was great, it was also on for the whole time we were there and we could take a dip at any time. Bed was super comfy and breakfast was really good too but only cold (toast with choice of jams and choc spread & granola with yoghurt and baked goods - croissant or pain au chocolat) Choice of walks around are good too and activities offered if looking to be busy. People at the reception were absolutely lovely too and very helpful.

Bathroom was a walk in shower so you were showering with the sink and the toilet which can be quite tight but manageable for a short stay. The cabins are very close together so when youre sitting on the decking you can clearly see the other cabins and people sitting on their own decking. Really good thing about is that the hot tub was a sink in so couldnt see anyone then. I think the bbq or fireplace should be included in the price with one pack od consumables, additional consumables at an extra cost.

I think there should be some kind of cover oner the Hot tub and then you would not have rain drops hitting your head. There was mould around the toilet roll holder. should be removed. The bed should have been the other way round so you don't disturbed your partner when there sleeping. We cut our trip short due to my disability which meant the hut we no suitable however the member of staff said we should go back in May and they would give us a discount to go in a different lodge. so thank you to them, as they could not move us due to the other loges being full.

Loved the views all around the cabin. Great location for walks and climbs. Felt incredibly spoiled and pampered with the anniversary packet. They even left midge spray to make people more comfortable. They also let us bring our kitten, and she loved it and felt quite safe as well. They even left her some treats and a bowl. They had a lovely coffee machine and delicious goodies for us. Great hairdryer and robes as well. It was wonderful to get toast in the morning, and breakfast was quite delicious!

The amenities could use some tweeking. In the kitchenette, a place to actually store some food in the fridge or a stovetop and a sharp knife or scissors would be appreciated. Other than that, the only real inconvenience was the shower situation. I know there isn't a lot of wiggle room in the cabin, but its quite awkward to shower over the toilet and get your feet wet each time you go to use the toilet despite trying to squeegee the floor ever so often.
