Quiet and peaceful hotel with spacious rooms, big windows and some nice views. Polite and helpful staff in reception and easy check in. Good breakfast with staff made you welcome and served quickly so you will be ready to go and enjoy your day. Clean room, great sleep, hot shower, good tv, coffee all worked well. This booking met our expectations and we would return and stay again for couple nights, no problem.

One of on budget and dated hotels as you would expect and it's clear from Booking advert and reviews so I don't complain as I'm used to this from all over UK and seen much worse. Eat, sleep, shower and go. We were lucky with a good weather otherwise I don't know what we would do there:) Quite walk from Fort William if you don't have car or 10£ by taxi from train station, bus only couple of times a day ,not a big issue though.

Breakfast was basic but tasty check in staff very helpful comfy bed lovely view from the lounge plenty of parking

No shampoo and showergel in shower. Breakfast fast waitress a bit grumpy as I waited to be assigned a table

Staff were brilliant, very welcoming and friendly. Hotel was immaculate through out and our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We arrived a bit later than expected and after settling down at the bar in the hotel we could not be bothered heading into fort william that night for a bite to eat and night out as planned, dinner service was full at the hotel so no space for us but we had not booked in advance. The reception staff recommended take away places that delivered, provided us with plates and cutlery and let us eat in the bar where most other places would confine you to your room. We had a good laugh with the friendly staff and other guests in the hotel, unplanned but brilliant night. Your staff are a credit to you, hotel is lovely and in a beautiful setting, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Nothing, everything was to our liking, had no complaints what so ever.

Room was a nice size, staff were very nice, car park is large, view from room and restaurant is lovely. Bed was large and reasonably comfortable.

Old and run down, with a bit of a smell, it reminded me of a nursing home. Very 80’s decor. Restaurant is not la carte, it is a fixed 3 course menu. Caters very much to coach tours, to the point where I asked for a window seat at breakfast and was told they were only for tour groups, but no one turned up to sit there the whole time I was at breakfast. Very noisy floor boards and noise from adjoining rooms and rooms above you.

The room was large and very nice. The breakfast was waiter served and politely done. For the price, the food was good.

The room was close to the main road so potentially noisy once traffic got going in the morning. But actually not too noisy in the end, that morning. Also, the Hotel was really difficult to find in the dark. I missed the turn in for it, after my dinner in Fort William and then struggled to find a place to turn my car round. It needs a well lit up sign, a little in advance. The weather was very poor that night.

It was a comfortable hotel in an older building, our room was good, had the basics of everything you'd need pretty much, plus a bar and restaurant downstairs, very spacious down there. Staff were nice, location was excellent in relation to fort William.

Well the room was up 3 flights of stairs and my mom had a bit of trouble with that, I'm sure it's expensive to install a lift in an old building like that. It seemed like parking might be somewhat limited for the number of rooms, although we did manage to secure the last spot upon our arrival.

The room was a good size with a.nice mordern bathroom. The shower was very good. Good views over looking the Loch. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu was ok with quite a good choice of cereal, fruit, and full English.

Our room was on the 2nd floor. There was not a lift in the building and we had to lug heavy suit cases up two flights of stairs. The hotel is located quite a way out from Fort William and we either had to drive or take a taxi into town. It takes about 1 hr to walk into town We found the staff in the restaurant particularly for breakfast quite abrupt and not very friendly. The toast was always burnt and milk for cereal was empty

Adjacent to Ben Nevis, close to town, Sarah the employee who checked us in and looked after us during our stay. Sarah is very professional, is courteous, respectful and accommodating. She solved issues smoothly, efficiently and with a smile. My wife and I were very impressed with Sarah throughout our stay. We would stay here again.

At the time upgrades from copper to optic fibre affected wifi. This was sorted quickly and professionally by Sarah.

Room comfortable and a good size. Nice view from the hotel rooms.
