Pretty much everything about The Old Registry was spot on...... what a thoroughly enjoyable stay we had. The hospitality of the staff here really is second to none, the room was cosy and inviting...... massive bathroom ! From the moment you arrive, it is more like staying with friends rather than paying for a B & B and we were greeted with "you're in the 'Memories Room', the door is open for you, here is the key to the room and here is the key to the front door". The Old Registry is right in the centre, if you're visiting Haworth, you'll almost certainly walk past it, but you will miss out if you're not staying in it ! There is no parking outside The Old Registry, however there is a nice deal with the close-by Howarth Old Hall for a few quid a night...... it's literally two minutes away and is probably the same distance as car parks in large hotel chains. Breakfast is a B & B full fry-up and what's not to like there...... it was great. Thank you...
Adjust the tension on the surface mounted door-close...... that thing could fire you through the wall into the next room if you're not careful !!

We had a room on the top floor which was more than adequate. It was comfortable and with a nicely presented shower room. The full english breakfast was excellent on both mornings. The hotel is perfectly situated at the bottom of the high street close to the local amenities. We managed to park on the main road behind the hotel as there is a small section with no restrictions.
We had no hot water during our two day stay. We didn't say anything to the staff until we left as it wasn't a problem for us as the shower was electric. The staff member was surprised but I have noted similar issues on review sites. The rooms and the hotel in general are looking a little tired in areas but this does not detract from the cleanliness and comfort.

Lovely attic room, not too cramped with the slanted ceiling and a v comfy bed. There was a large bathroom with a big bathtub which was nice. The location was great, right at the bottom of the main street. Breakfast was delicious and the decor of the place was really nice. We arrived early and asked to store our bags but our room was already ready so we got right in, they also kept our luggage after checkout so we could go and enjoy our day. A great place to stay.
The floors in the room were very creaky and made lots of noise, those who are on the top floor can wake each other up in the night by going to the bathroom. But it's an old building so that is to be expected and wasn't a big deal.

The old registry is a lovely place, very quirky in it's style. The staff were very friendly and warming, check in went smoothly generally a lovely place to stay. This is our 2nd time we've booked and won't be our last. Lovely shops, pubs & eating places on the doorstep. Beautiful scenery awaits you ...
We'd booked a double room but it was a attic room. I'd book on another floor next time.. only negative was the bed wasn't overly comfy. And the room wasn't overly warm

Lovely room, bath with jets and separate shower. The building was very old and the internal decor was in keeping with its age. There were lots of delightful touches, interesting pictures on the wall, wonderful aged books. Loved to have stayed longer to spend time looking through the books. Given that Haworth High Street is the very centre of Brontë country the owner should be complimented on her achievements. All I ask is that The Old Registry never falls into the hands of a Hotel chain.
Can’t fault.

Everything was lovely. The room, especially bathroom with separate toilet.loads of hot water.Breakfast (as is the norm in Yorkshire, was huge). Good quality ingredients and served with a smile from the lovely young staff. Perfect location for everything Haworth has to offer. Had dinner on second night and it was superb,salt/pepper squid, seabass and pork fillet, washed down with a lovely bottle of, and fairly priced Merlot.Hopefully will be back soon.
A bit more sunshine.

Quite a quirky place, but we like quirky. Unusual bed, but high quality bedding and pillows. Very comfy sleep. We liked the weight of the throw on the bed and will seek out a similar one. We were in the Secret Garden room. Nice to have a couple of comfy chairs in the room. Shower over the double-ended bath. Had no shampoo, but washed my hair with the hotel's body and hair wash and used the conditioner. Really soft. A good full breakfast with options and fruit / yogurt. We ate there on the second night, and the food choices made a change from the local pub grub.
We didn't have a problem, but parking might be difficult at busier times.

Friendly and helpful staff. Easy car parking in very nearby Manor Inn. situated at the bottom of Howarth High Street so very handy for the Bronte Parsonage visit and the lovely walk up to it past many interesting shops and eateries. sadly the Registry restaurant was not open for our early in the week visit but the breakfast was excellent. Decor throughout was stylish and made clever use of antique artefacts alongside modern comforts. A lovely place to stay.

The location was absolutely perfect. Everything on the doorstep. We were greeted so lovely and everyone went above and beyond for us. Even the chef. I only have the highest recommendation for this wonderful home away from home. The details were incredible, the food outstanding and its one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in. The bed was so comfortable (which I’m hard to please on) One of the servers was just wonderful she always had a smile and what a hard worker. Overall we both had the most amazing stay and 100% will be back very very soon! Location wise it just couldn’t have been better. With the Brontë house within walking distance, bars and pubs, shops and cafes right outside. Don’t think twice about booking here just do it.
Absolutely nothing!
