The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A special mention must go to one of the cleaners, Donna, who very kindly helped us down the stairs with our luggage when we were leaving. Thank you Donna! Breakfasts were nice and filling and the dining room spacious. Our room was nicely decorated and we liked the fact you got a couple of chairs in the room too, which saved us having to sit or lie on the bed most of the time. It was also central to the local bus stop and local amenities. All in all, a lovely place to stay.

Just a couple of little things. One, we were in the attic room and the final flight of stairs up there is very narrow and the handrail is very low to reach so we struggled a bit with that, but that's really down more to our mobility, which isn't the best, than the place itself. The only other thing was, being in the attic, the roof sloped down one side quite steeply and I banged my head on it a few times getting to my side of the bed, and I'm not tall! Again however, there isn't really anything they can do about this, it is what it is.

We were welcomed by a lovely, friendly lady. Our room (The Lilac Room) was grand...clean...attractive & with panoramic views from the dormer window. Tea & coffee facilities & biscuits were supplied. Hairdryer & iron too. Breakfast was included...beautifully cooked & presented. The breakfast menu was super & the buffet table (a bonus...not on the menu) had a lovely choice of cereals, fruits & fruit juice. We decided to eat there, quite late in the day (on a very busy 1940s weekend)...nothing was too much trouble & the pizzas were blummin' gorgeous (the chips were great too :)) All the staff are super. Hospitality appears to come very naturally. Reception staff, waiting staff, bar staff, chef...all approachable, professional & efficient. We hope to come back soon. Thank you all so very much. What a team! xx

Not one single thing, other than they're already booked for next years 1940s weekend :(

Love the style and feel of the place. So welcoming. Beautiful setting. Staff were super, efficient and friendly. Breakfasts were delicious and all cooked to order, really appreciated the good coffee. Parking arrangements with the local pub are really convenient and simple.

Some of the decor seemed a bit rushed, and the finish wasn't quite right, which is a shame because the style and decor choices were great. The layout of the bathroom in the Cherub room is really odd, and there is a lot of wasted space. Would have been lovely with a bath in the eaves. Room door lock wasn't very substantial, but the whole place felt very secure and safe.

We stayed in the pears room which is an attic room, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with the bonus of a great view over the park. Leanne, her partner and all of the staff were very friendly, creating a really nice atmosphere for a drink and food, the Yorkshire breakfast is really good as are the sharing boards. Great value for the price too. We will definitely be returning to the Old Registry and would thoroughly recommend a stay. Very comfortable bed, very clean and well equipped. The biggest bonus is that everything is on the doorstep. You can come and go as you please stepping straight onto the lovely main Street and a stones throw from gorgeous walks across the moors. We saw the most spectacular rainbow 🌈 We will be back!!! Thanks

Nothing!

The moment you walk into the property it was like stepping back to the 1940s It was warm and very welcoming and I was blown away by our room the Secret garden it was just amazing especially the bed it was so comfortable We were met by a lovely lady called Jan who was ever so helpful and chatty. I discovered jan has been a part of Howarth hospitality for many years and was part of our early Howarth memories going back over 25 years

There was nothing not to like The old Registry is what it it and part of Howarth old country so if any one is looking for mod cons I would advise you stick to the town

In the heart of Haworth at the bottom of the main cobbled street with easy access to shops and a variety of places to eat and drink. The Staff were pleasant and attentive, even if overly busy with there being a private function taking place as we arrived! Breakfast service was much the same with the young hostess proving service with a welcoming smile, where nothing was too much trouble.

Nothing to dislike, thoroughly enjoyed our visit, we originally thought the road noise from the high street adjacent, where our room overlooked the park and views across the valley might be noisy, but we needn’t have worried, the property was very quiet.

The hotel is beautifully decorated with quirky touches. It's right on the main street in Haworth so perfect location, with off road parking round the corner. The staff were friendly and really helpful.

Our bedding looked to have stains on and where we sat for breakfast there was a piece of black pudding under the table (from a previous day as we were first to sit there that morning) which was still there the next morning as well (as we stayed for 2 nights) but other than that it was quite clean.

The room and bathroom decor was lovely and traditional and was warm and cosy after a day out in the cold. It had a hairdryer and tea and coffee with biscuits so that's always appreciated. There was plenty of choice for breakfast, cereals, fruit, yogurts and a choice of cooked breakfasts, I had the eggs benedict and the eggs were cooked to perfection, my husband had the full English and said it was lovely too. The dining area was gorgeous, I loved the decor, it was very traditional and gave a warm feeling.

As we were in the loft room I couldn't see out of the window as it was a skylight window, but I'm only 5 foot tall and it wasn't much of a problem as we'd been out all day and seen enough scenery. Plus I couldn't complain at the price we paid.
