Did not have dinner as restaurant closes at 2.30pm Mon to Thursday. This was a deterrent for us as we had to dine elswhere before arriving at the hotel at 8.00p.m. Breakfast was what you would expect with the added bonus of made to order although I always choose Continental. This could be improved if there was additional dried fruits and seeds etc but that is just my opinion.

As far as comfort is concerned nothing really except dificult to use the hair dryer in front of the mirror due to a short lead plus the extension lead to the tea and coffee making facilities was also short and although utilised still did not reach. I have stayed in this room previously and mentioned the same drawback. However should not be a deterrent as the hotel and breakfast dining was still very good.

We recently enjoyed a two night stay in the Steeton Hall Hotel whilst visiting friends in the area. This small family run hotel turned out to be a great find for us. Our four poster room was spacious, very clean, well appointed and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, tasty and well presented. All the staff we met during our stay were very friendly and polite making us feel welcome. A special thank you to the owner of the hotel who despite being in the middle of a very busy lunch service, went out of her way to help us check in earlier than we should have. All in all a very pleasant stay and if we are in the area again in the future, we would definitely return.

We stayed in room 8, which is a huge room containing a massive comfortable bed jacuzzi bath with 2 showers over, one electric and one working off the hot water. The meals we had were brilliant, we arrived on Sunday and had the carvery which was delicious and such good value, we had 2 breakfasts which were fantastic and set us up for the day, not eating again till evening! For our second night, i had fish and chips with mushy peas, and my wife chose the steak. Both were cooked perfectly. Well done, chef! The staff are an amazing team, each and every one deserves praise from the management/owners. We will return without a second thought next time we are in or around the Keighle/Skipton area. Well done all of you, we had a lovely stay.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike, from arriving to departing, everything was spot on.

Clean comfortable accommodation in a convenient location, for transport and the local area. The Hotel is set back from the main road so is generally quiet too. The Restaurant menu offers a good selection too. Staff friendly and attentive.

I was extremely disappointed and surprised to be charged £1 for a small jug of gravy with my meal. I noticed this on my receipt until the following morning ,when sorting out my wallet litter.. By which time I had left. In all the places I've dined , I have never been charged for any accompanying condiments. Probably the most expensive food I have had (pro rata)...£1 for a few gravy granules and some hot water!

Great stay at a hotel with fabulously helpful staff, brilliant location (station 4 mins walk away which could take you to all parts of the Aire Valley - Skipton, Keighley for the KWVR, Saltaire, Bradford and Leeds) and the hotel had an unusually large range of local splendidly kept beers. And the vegetarian breakfast was exceptional.

It is a historic building which inevitably means there are some creaky floorboards - but really all part of the charm. We stayed during a quiet period - hard to judge whether during the summer months the creaking might have been more bothersome!

Room clean, spacious & tastefully decorated, jacuzzi bath was amazing.Staff very helpful & friendly nothing too much trouble for them..Food was first class and the price is very very reasonable for the exceptional quality of the food..

The only small criticism I would make is reception area is quite dull and cluttered with boxes left in this area, which I’m not sure if this is the norm or not but would suggest as it is usually the reception area that is the first impression guests would come across, it could possibly benefit from brightening up and clearing up. However that being said this did not affect our amazing stay whatsoever and we will 100% recommend steeton hall and we would definitely return

This is a very old Hotel and which has bags of character and a great find. Staff were pleasant and breakfast was great. Our room was very big and all that we needed for out stay was included in the price

On first impression I found the reception area to be not very welcoming with cigarette buts outside the main door and a lack of lighting outside the entrance. The area seemed to lack character, luckily this did not deter us from staying.

Convenient location for driving to various attractions. Frequent train services to Leeds, Bradford, Keighley, Skipton from Steeton station 5 minutes walk away. Buses also available. Excellent car parking. The hotel is fairly small at 10 rooms but has a spacious and relaxing feel to it. It is also very old and full of character. The staff were all excellent, welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious with plenty of storage, large comfortable bed, kettle, drinks and biscuits provided. The bathroom was good with decent shower (ours also had a jacuzzi). The cooked breakfast was generous with vegetarian and lighter options and continental breakfast available. Excellent meals were served in the early evening. There is also a bar available until late evening. I'd certainly recommend the hotel for a relaxed stay.

We could only stay 3 nights!

This was reasonably priced. We booked a kingsize room for ourselves and a double for my dad. I think it was the owner who greeted us. It was a warm welcome and we ere shown to our rooms…nice personal touch. Our kingsize room was lovely and big, beautifully decorated, new carpet, four poster bed, comfortable mattress, crisp fresh bed linen…..good sitting area etc…the bathroom had a jacuzzi bath, nice shower..it was new and fresh……lovely view from the window. My dads room was equally as lovely. We had a superb meal in the restaurant, all freshly cooked and beautifully tasty and attractively presented..at a very reasonable price. Breakfast was also a pleasantly good experience. This place is unpretentious and unassuming a beautiful gem and we will definitely be back again.

Absolutely nothing…although everyone should always have improvement points so as not to become complacent…..🤣🤣my husband didn’t like the breakfast coffee…

Exceptional room, very spacious and comfortable with comfortable chairs, writing desk, plenty wardrobe spaces, lovely view of garden; quiet; amazing large bathroom with jacuzzi and separate excellent shower. Wonderful staff and services. Perfect parking. Excellent food choices and quality. Lovely historic building.

One or two tiny niggles. Cold water took a long time coming through cold! No hand rail in or at shower or bath but in fact perfectly safe.
