Room was nice with a sea view. Bed was very good size - more like a small double than single. Decent shower in the bathroom. Breakfast was very good - plenty of choice. Lunch and evening meal were also very tasty. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast staff.

The only negative was that I asked for a decaf coffee after my evening meal and I learned the next day that the waitress had used a decaf coffee bag but put it through the machine, which is why I had a sleepless night. I was told by another member of staff when I checked out that they usually give decaf coffee in a cafetière - that would have been fine. As it was I was it ruined my night and left me shattered the next day, but hopefully they won't make the same mistake in future. My room was lovely and peaceful in the night but if there's entertainment in the bar you can hear it all as well as clattering about downstairs, so take ear plugs if you want or need to sleep before midnight.

Had a late check in and caught the bus from Inverness airport - Brilliant connection to the hotel and only a short walk away from the bus station at Nairn. Arrived at the hotel around 10.30pm. Room was lovely and very well equipment for what we needed. Bar had live music when we arrived which was fantastic. Staff were friendly and the bar was well stocked. Breakfast was great! cooked to order with cereal to choose from. Good choice for Vegetarians and Vegan from the breakfast menu and they will take requests that you might have for breakfast. Views are amazing looking right over the sea - even our room had a sea view! Will be staying again

Everything was great, I think the only thing I found was a little daunting when we arrived late as you could hear the music from outside and people were gathered drinking and smoking right by the entrance door. Would be be good to be told Live music was happening ahead of our stay.

Central location: excellent for beaches and shops. Dinner menu excellent; recommend the venison or the duck. Breakfast very good: waited on at table with a great choice of food; such a nice change to buffet style breakfasts. Again food excellent. Lively bar with plenty of music. Our room had a lovely sea view and was quite a distance from the bar beyond a heavy fire door; so no disturbance with loud music. Hot water piping hot for showers. Plenty of tea/coffee provided in room.

Because of waitress service, thinge got a bit hectic when busy in the morning.Double bed was comfortable but a little small. TV rather small.

Rooms were comfy, plenty of power sockets to charge devices. Good quality evening meal with a range of local ales available. There was a live band playing on the night of my stay - I was worried that they may be a bit loud, but not the case, they were very enjoyable. Great views out over to the beach and the Moray Firth. It's only 20 minutes to Inverness and much better value than accommodation located in the city.

Breakfast was tasty, but service was very erratic and disfunctional - things like the cereal packets are on a table of their own with bowls available. But no milk / juice beside them - when asked for milk, server supplied a silly little jug of milk - barely enough for a large spoonful! We'd finished cereals before order was taken for cooked breakfast. Only other niggle is that there are a lot of stairs to the bedrooms upstairs with my room also having some steps down into it which you had to be careful about. Car parking is limited outside the property. Overall, nothing major though.

The location is a very short walk to the beach. There are no lifts; check in as at the restaurant. I booked the seaview room, and given the low price I paid, I was not expecting much. But I was pleasantly surprised. You can see the sea and the park from your window, and I loved waking up to such a lovely view. The area is quiet. There is complementary biscuit, coffee, tea, milk and a water kettle in the room. The toilet and shower are clean; the towels are fluffy. Water pressure from the shower is acceptable but can be improved. They sometimes have a live band/singer performing at night at the restaurant and you can hear the music from your room, but this did not bother me at all. Excellent breakfast (cook to order, and plenty of choices) is served at the restaurant, which has a great seaview. The restaurant staff were very pleasant and attentive. Will book here again next time I’m in Nairn.

Bedroom though small had an excellent view of the links and sea. Food was really good, well prepared, tasty and nicely presented. Drinks menu was also excellent with a good variety of beers, lagers, ciders and wine.

The room we were in was small but nicely furnished and decorated, as was the corridor. Better quality pillows would have been nice and if I was to complain it would be about the quality of workmanship in the bathroom and bedroom where skirting boards, would have been better replaced when the rooms were renovated. These features detracted from was otherwise a small but pleasant room.

Tha Bandstand is a hotel on top of a pub / restaurant in Nairn, very close to the sea. The pub and the restaurant are actually separated, so that if you don't like the live music in the pub section, it will not bother you while you're having dinner in the restaurant. The restaurant is very good and reasonably priced also. That's where breakfast is served and it's good. The position is priceless, close to the sea and enjoying a very nice view.

The hotel has no private parking space, but you can fairly easily find a space nearby. Since bands play in the pub, the garden outside tends to be quite lively, with people chatting, smoking and drinking. It can be a bit noisy, I suppose.

Nice sunny room. Convenient location. Lovely breakfast with friendly staff member.

My rubbish bin wasn’t emptied for 3 days. The initial 2 tiny bottles of shampoo and body wash were not replaced for the next 3 days. There was no soap provided for the hand basin at all. The TV remote was missing, I needed to request one. The TV rarely worked, with few channel options and then those would freeze. Very noisy room above bar but that had been mentioned in the booking.

The breakfast was brilliant, like a 3 course meal. Set in a really nice location, it was dark when we dined but the view would have been incredible. The homemade pie was incredible! Very filling.

I had been given the room that was above the entrance to the property. There was quite a lot of noise from the rowdy patrons and unfortunately a lot of chairs being dragged over the floor.

The view, the bar, the restaurant, the staff, the room. It was all awesome The food was excellent and portions were huge. The staff were just fantastic especially Katie, (including the owner Paul). The room was immaculate and the bathroom looked newly renovated so no complaints there! Honestly just amazing.

I honestly can't think of anything. I guess if your not a fan of good music, good food/ drink and friendly people. Then it's not for you?
