Location is not too bad, 9 mins walk from the train station and easily accessible to the town centre and shops. There is a convenient store right across the street from the hotel which comes in handy. Room and shared spaces were clean, enough clean towels provided in the rooms, air-condition works and not noisy. Lucky enough to have been given a room not facing the street but there was still some noise from what I believe staff working downstairs in the back. Will stay again for a night for the convenience, not too sure if I will stay for longer periods due to noise level from the second floor, perhaps a higher floor room will resolve that but you've got to pay a extra for that!

The rooms are comfortable, clean and fairly big. The staff are lovely and helpful.

The breakfast is passable but quite greasy. The food in the evening is pretty horrendous. The first night I had pie and my partner had salmon. The pie was dry and tasted like a frozen one that had been warmed through, the salmon was a bit watery which again seemed like it had been frozen and heated through. The second night I had the blandest Mac and cheese I have ever tasted and the sauce was very thick and gloomy. My partner had pizza and we are pretty sure this was a Chicago town tomato stuffed crust frozen pizza. My recommendation would definitely be to eat elsewhere.

Room clean, airy, and comfortable. Staff were nice, pleasant and helpful.

It wasn’t easy to get to as we had to drive around the block to get on the right side of the road. There was a lay-by outside but a large white van was parked taking most of the room. We had one window open due to it being hot so it was noisy. We also found it difficult to get to the underground parking! At the lights it’s “no left turn” but we had to ignore that, then there were two roller doors so wasn’t sure which was the right one! The drink prices are rather on the high side too!!

The location is pretty much in the city center, which is super convenient for both local and long-distance buses and coaches or trains. The reception staff was friendly and helpful on arrival, the room was clean and comfortable; no issues at all! The breakfast was perfectly adequate for the price and pretty varied, absolutely nothing wrong to point out during my stay.

The almost daily emails I received asking me if I want to upgrade my room; they emailed a lot. And I mean a lot. Please, Marketing Team- tone down on the comms frequency ;)

On Sunday the Breakfast was lovely, the chef did not overload the buffet so the food was spot on. Runny egg, gorgeous sausages, perfect mushrooms! The restaurant on the Saturday evening had a lovely selection of food. I went for the salmon which was perfect. The staff were wonderful and I made sure to thank the kitchen staff too. They do a great job and often don’t get any off the love! As you can tell I do like my food! The room was a family room with a pull out couch and a big double bed. Lots of pillows, a lovely warm duvet and plenty of space to relax. A tiny bit of noise from the street, but that’s what earplugs are for!

Greeted upon arrival by very smiley & friendly reception staff who made check-in very fast & effortless. My room was extremely clean, and I also liked the fact there was an abundance of bath towels, complimentary toiletries & coffee making facilities too. For the price I paid it was extremely good value for money. I was also very impressed with the breakfast buffet selection, it was absolutely delicious & very warm! If I was to visit Leicester again, 100% I would choose the Encore hotel again.....my visit was to see a theatre show at The Curve theatre. The hotel location was the perfect choice, as the theatre is literally next door.

My only dislike was the bed pillows'. I found them too hard which made it difficult to become comfortable & fall asleep!

The receptionist was pleasant and efficient. She was extremely knowledgeable and made our short stay all the more pleasant. The layout of the dining area made access for my wife in a wheelchair easy and the service in the restaurant was enjoyable albeit a glass of wine was a little on the dear side. Breakfast was equally pleasant albeit the bacon was a little tough, probably because it was left under warmers for a while. The connection with the NCP car park a short distance away was exemplary.

I was concerned bearing in mind our restricted mobility for fire safety reasons we were given a room on the 7th floor. What would the evacuation procedure be in event of fire or other emergency. I appreciate from my past occupational experience not every fire service has a ladder that extends beyond 4 stories and lifts are out of use during an emergency evacuation.

Quiet, clean, central location, comfortable bed and pillows.

Bathroom was clean, it was cleaned everyday but it had a smell that I didn't quite like. No rack inside the shower area to put your shampoo and bath gel. I had to put them on the floor. Also, no hook in the bathroom except 2 in the shower area, meaning if you hook your towel or clothes there, they will get wet.

Location was good, convenient for city centre and if you arrive by train (which I did). Staff at reception friendly and attentive. Room a good size, heard a bit of noise but nothing to keep me awake. Room seemed clean except for a long blonde hair on the hanger (hard to miss really). It was a good size, and bathroom was decent. Plenty of towels. A little annoying that the only plug at the desk was behind the TV. Breakfast was ok. Food was hot, staff attentive/helpful. Would have been good to see a cow milk alternative. Overall happy with my stay!

. Good location, 10 minute walk from station but staying central is good for location but noisier at weekends. Rooms were large and clean.

Breakfast one day had strange tasting baked beans. Another day, had to wait for orange juice and one of the coffee machines wasn't working. Rooms on a Saturday night were very noisy due to nearby nightclubs and idiots driving round the city roads like they're at Silverstone. Hotel could do with better soundproofing.
