The location was excellent for what the room was needed for, i.e. attending my graduation ceremony which was only a 12 minute walk away. The food was very tasty at dinner time and we liked the waiter who served us at dinner, as he was so kind with a lovely smile - he made us feel welcome and valued. My family used the car parking facilities and this exceeded our expectations as we were not expecting it to be such a smooth/easy experience in finding parking, as there was ample parking available.

At 2.30am I could hear guests in the room upstairs talking really loudly (even with ear plugs in). As I had to be up in 3 hours time, I started to panic then I wouldn't get back to sleep again so I made the uncomfortable decision to get out of bed, find the room where the noise was coming from and confront the guests. I found the room, knocked the door, and a woman answered. I explained the situation calmly and quietly to her, as was mindful of other guests sleeping. Thankfully, the people in the room agreed to be quiet! I was able to get back to sleep after returning to my room!

The room was very comfortable as was the bed. The en-suite nice and clean. Breakfast was very nice and as a location in the centre of Leicester it was very convenient. Facilities in the room were just as we required. Staff were extremely helpful when I encountered a problem of my own doing.

The room was very warm but it was the hottest day of the year. The window didn't open very far ( I know it is for safety reasons) , but it meant that there was little air movement in the room. We kept the fan on but it eventually just circulated more warm air. Just something to consider looking at a solution for?

Room was clean and comfortable, easy access to the town, parking facilities and reception staff friendly and the the young lady who serves breakfast has exceptional customer service skills.

Breakfast on Saturday was table service, and the lady serving breakfast was excellent and she was on Sunday, however I wouldn’t recommend breakfast on a Sunday absolutely shoddy. Buffet style, served in a poor manner, one of us was served half a breakfast as they had ran out of food and the other had to wait 10 minutes before food was replenished, wouldn’t have been an issue if we were informed however people were kept waiting. Table service is much better. I would recommend the hotel but not Sunday breakfast, Wetherspoons would probably be a better choice if you want to eat breakfast in a timely manner.

The location was actually very good, side street not far from train station leading onto “New Walk”. The bed was comfortable and room well equipped with Iron/ironing board and tea/coffee and a bottle of water. The room 111 was quiet, and helped me have a very good nights sleep. I didn’t use the television or have breakfast there, so can’t comment.

The floor mat was filthy and had not been replaced from previous occupant. Not so much a negative, more a comment: The window & frame in 111 is very old and not very draft proof (was not a problem in summer as I sleep with window slightly open), maybe only a problem in colder months.

Breakfast was very good. We did request a vegan breakfast, which it stated on the website was available. Staff were helpful but it took some to-ing and fro-ing to get the breakfast. Whilst it was very nice there only sermes to be a hot option (sausage, beans, hash brown, mushrooms tomatoes). No vegan yogurt or patries option. Just for the future if offering a vegan option a but more choice might be good. Staff were extremely helpful at all times and happy to allow us to park all day and extend the check out on one room at no extra cost. Rooms very comfortable and clean.

Very minor, but there was a small chink of light coming under the door of room 203 during the nighr. Might be an idea to put something on the bottom of the door ti block this out.

Coming from London it was crazy cheap by comparison. Room was really nice, comfortable And super quiet while also located 3 minutes from train station, great since we were just doing a pit stop overnight here... But wish we were there longer. Service was perfectly friendly and helpful but didn't have enough time to get a full opinion tbh. The whole place is huge with a load of amenities which again we didn't have time to explore, to our regret. The room itself was much bigger than advertised photos Just generally, the vibe was really nice. Oh, and the water pressure in the shower is pretty incredible.

Nothing at all. I think only one plug socket on one side of the bed, if that is really an issue for a phone addict maybe.

The staff at the hotel where / are excellent they have a can do attitude , the interior of the building was very comforting and so much better than the "branded" hotels. When i arrived it had been raining very hard and some water was coming through the windows, i highlighted this to the reception and a plan was put in place to rectify. My room was spacious , the bed comfortable i had a huge bathroom. My breakfast was fantastic and the choice was endless, oh and the staff at breakfast where brilliant. The car park is a great bonus and the location is quite central overall a great stay.

The small tv , the "locked" windows however i did have a 2nd window and a fan.

We arrived early and the hotel kindly upgraded us to a suite. The hotel is superbly located within minutes of New Walk which takes you past the Museum and Art Gallery and several of the grandest buildings in the city and right into the opulent Cultural Quarter in the centre. The breakfast is freshly cooked for you and brought to your table. Fantastic!

We managed to find a space in the car park but even then its a little bit of a squeeze. For some reason the hotel locks the de Montford st entrance at times during the day so you need to go around the back way and past reception.

My prior request for a quiet room was respected. Had a superior double room overlooking a pleasant walkway. The room was well equipped, with tastlefull decor, spacious, spotless and a comfy bed. Had an evening meal in the hotel's restaurant - service was excellent and food well presented. Great value for money as was the breakfast which was equally as good. The hotel was ideally suited for my needs when attending a nearby Photographic Exhbition in the City. The hotel's car park had ample spaces which were not too close to each other.

Nothing comes to mind. I couldn't find any faults. The ongoing nearby roadworks did present a problem with the hotel's access road being closed using my Sat Nav's initial route. However, I quickly found an alternative.

I absolutely love the fact that it's a boutique hotel. The environment was quiet and even the guests were friendly and fun. I was given an upgrade as I was there celebrating my birthday and the room was so cozy and comfortable. Extra heating was also provided along with a fan which came in handy while I do my make-up. Overall, the place is clean and tidy. My husband and I had an amazing time and will sure revisit again.

There really wasn't anything to not like tbh. I have allergies and after after my first night I was sneezing and coughing alot with runny nose as well. Which indicates that the room was a bit dusty (which you won't see with the naked eyes). Anyways I pop in Boots (few minutes away) got some medications and I was good again. My allergies only act up when I was in the room though. Everywhere else I was quite fine. I didn't notify the hotel of my allergies so next time I will. I am sure they will be accommodating.
