lovely conversion of old Fenwick shop. Very welcoming entrance area which is also a bar. Breakfast delicious and great value. Very spacious room.

On the third floor as you come out of the lift and turn right, then left, the carpeted corridor floor has a sudden small slope which I didn’t see and fell over. I got bad grazing from the carpet and went to reception to ask for a dressing and bandage which they helpfully gave me. I was surprised they didn’t ask me to fill in an accident report as the graze was quite bad. Maybe they need training on accident reporting. Also this part of the corridor should definitely have a warning about the uneven floor. I wasn’t hurt seriously (ie no permanent damage) but it could have been worse especially for an older person.

We stayed in the apartments located the side of the hotel. Private entrance to the apartment, apartments was very clean, provided with the basic essentials. Location of this hotel is perfect, with parking only 5mins.

Lacking one whole double bed, we got two singles stuck together and held with a clamp. I do understand that most apartments have this, but the wife and I kept sinking down the middle. But overall it is not a massive problem.

The place is right into the city centre. The apartment is good and all freshly renewed and everything up to the standard you would expect.

The windows were locked or anyway it was impossible to open and this does not help when the room is hot. Overnight the room was very hot and it was difficult to sleep with the heavy duvet they provide. Second think but also important, the checkout is at 10am!!!!! After a proper Saturday night it is very difficult to be ready for that time and the staff is there knocking on the door at 10:30!!

Great location, a well maintained, highly frequented establishment. The apartment was spacious, well decorated, bed very comfortable and room/kitchen/bath well stocked. The place was extremely clean, sheets too. The towels and pillows were aplenty and a large common/seating space. The gym was a surprise which I didn't manage to visit but sure if must be equally good considering everything else at the hotel. The restaurant seemed popular, brimming with activity at all times. However, the apartment albeit on the 3rd floor was well insulated and quite. I liked that apartment hard very large windows overlooking the street which meant lots of sunlight making the room bright and lively. The kitchen had needed utensils and crockery and the WIFI was very strong in all areas of the establishment. The hosts manning reception desk were very polite and accommodating. They generously allowed me to sit in the lobby and use the space/internet for meetings before checking-in and after checking-out. Special mention to the cleaning staff (a lady with blonde hair - cant recall her name) who was very helpful with answering some questions and helping out.

Nothing as important, however it would've been nice to get room slippers and a bath robe.

this is the 4th time at this property and not one thing can I fault the staff are amazing especially Dominique !!!

Excellent service and location.

The hotel was very clean, including the room. 100% worth the price and the location was perfect if you’re wanting to explore the town often, the hotel was closed to basically everything. Staff were so friendly and helpful, even helped us when we were stranded and had to book another night due to the trains not running. Reception even got us a deal!

They had offered us a late checkout at 4.00 (due to our train times) but came knocking on our room at 14.00 saying we were supposed to have left hours ago and need to leave NOW. We even confirmed this in the morning as we had to get our keycard renewed to enter our room… Staff just said we misheard them.

Great central location, you can get in 10min walk to train and bus stations. Very friendly staff, ready to help. Cozy lobby bar and breakfast room.

We stayed 4 nights and trash bin was not removed from our room during our stay.
