The bed, location, in room facilities etc were superb. Can't ask for more, in that regard.

The man on the front desk was defensive, incredibly unwilling to help and solve an issue with check in that could've been easily resolved - he waved his hands around and spoke to myself and my wife like we were stupid and was insulting. When I asked if we could discuss the issue with the manager he slammed a piece of paper down with a generic email address on it and email. Whenever I tried to ask a question he just shouted "Email!" Appalling customer service that threatened to ruin the mood of our stay.

Room was good. Exceeded my expectation. Appreciated staff support.

It was poorly signposted on the door outside. Guests need to press the otherwise unlabelled "ring doorbell" button which was not obvious to me but perhaps that's my fault.

Great location in London. Easy to walk to Paddington and other tube stations. The hotel is situation on a very quiet road. Communication with the hotel prior to arrival was good. Walking distance to Lord’s Cricket ground and lots of other attractions. The kitchenette area was well stocked with crockery and pans etc.

The duvet was too small for the duvet cover and only just reached the edges of the bed without anyone under it. Once two people were under it (one who was 6foot 3) it definitely wasn’t long enough a not comfortably wide enough. We asked if we could have a second duvet so that we could have one each explaining that it was too small but were told that only one could be issued. It wasn’t a huge deal as we were only there for two nights.

A really lovely experience. The room and bathroom were a nice size, modern, decorated well, spotlessly clean and had a comfy bed. The kitchen part was well equipped including a coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fridge, etc. The shower was fab and I loved the small things like the bathroom mirror not fogging up. I hadn't expected room service but my bed was made up and toiletries replaced during my stay.. The staff were friendly and happily offered a safe space for my bag when checking out if I needed it. Great location, close to Queenswsy and Paddington stations for exploring London on the tube. Overall, I found it to be a real gem and will happily return again.

Price is good for London - great spa tub, handy basic kitchenette. This is more an apartment building than hotel although there is a reception between 9am-9pm. Nice and clean. Lovely to have the little courtyard to be outside if you wish. Nice shower, nice decor, secure building in a nice area of London convenient for Paddington. Staff are good - friendly and helpful.

A few things which I'm sure reception could have resolved if contacted. (Would be nice to have hand towels and kitchen towel) Not a problem for me but be aware of reception times as there's no late check in. You can hear the underground clearly, and noise from other rooms - bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper :)

The location is great. So close to underground options, over ground options, buses, and on the doorstep of Kensington park. The hotel is beautiful from the outside and inside. Very good value for the location and facilities. Spacious bathroom with lovely long bath for a nice soak after lots of sightseeing. Well equipped kitchenette for basic cooking.

The shower head and bath mats need a good bleach and mildew growing on them. No liquid hand soap just a small bar of soap to wash hands (personal preference). Not very soundproof... I can clearly hear people going into the surrounding rooms. Can also hear all the water running from the room upstairs (toilet flushes, showered, baths). This wasn't much of a problem for us as I am a hearing aid user so at bed time I can't hear anything and my husband is a heavy sleeper but I would say to be aware if you are a light sleeper or easily annoyed by sounds.

The hotel is very nice, in the perfect location.

The hotel has no socket adapters. When I asked for it, the girl at the reception suggested to buy it for myself. I think it would not be that difficult to have few adapters for the guests.

I was a little nervous booking because the price was so cheap for the location and compared to other hotels around. I thought that this might be one of those hotels that looks great in the picture but when you get there they put you in a room hasn’t been touched since the 70’s. But I was gladly mistaken, the hotel is gorgeous, very well decorated and really friendly and professional staff. It is a little hidden gem and will definitely be staying there again (next week in fact!)

The shower tray had been damaged and repaired with a big silicone patch which worked fine but felt like you were going to fall through the floor at any minute. There was also a terrible smell coming from the bathroom which usually I would have complained about but for the price we were being charged I thought ‘I’ll just get a bottle of bleach!’ I put some in the toilet, some in the water trap / plug hole of the shower and by the next day, the problem was solved. And despite these two issues, I still think this hotel was incredible value for money!!

Location. The room is clean and large enough. The TV was good, and they probably had Netflix too. I could stay in my bed for hours watching TV and not get bored.

- They told me I cannot check in after 9 pm unless it is an emergency. Therefore I had to cancel a plan with my friend to check in before 9 pm. This seems like a basic problem, but it was a huge problem for me. - The floor was not carpeted. It was solid, and there were no slippers. - There was no towel to put under your feet after the shower. - They asked me to sign a paper and asked for 100 pounds for deposit. Since I was a bit shocked about this, he told he will take only 1 pounds for me. The next day noone mentioned about the deposit. Maybe because it was only one pound they did not pay me back.

Excellent location that is centrally located in the Kensington area within walking distance to the Kensington Park, Museums, Tube staton and Paddington rail station. Great place to stay and explore London with easy access to all key areas of London with plenty of restaurants, shops and public transport options within walking distance. Quiet corner of a small residential street, felt like living in the suburbs. The room was quite spacious with modern features such as a coffee pod machine, usb ports at the bedside, kitchenette, etc. The reception check-in process was super smooth and friendly, as we arrived early in the morning after a flight, they allowed us to leave our luggage and gave us our room key beforehand even though we didn't check in until later that evening (just weren't able to access the room until after 3pm). We were then able to freely explore London without the worry of luggage and having to come back to check-in before 9pm reception closing time.

The GPS location is not accurate when navigating, best to just follow the actual street signs for Craven Hill Gardens to find #1.
