Anwar house is centrally located it just opposite road of Earl COURT subway station, if coming from Heathrow Airport just take Picadelly line and go down to Earl Court Subway stn and exit from Earl Court Road then cross the road opposite to Earls Court subway stn , then walk straight at Earls Court Garden Street, all the way til the end of the road and cross again to the pedestrian and from there you will see the Colingham place and look for House 37, 5 min walk from Earl court subway stn

The size of the room and location were excellent. The mini Fridge with own bathroom was also great. It's not a fancy stay, but it is definitely a great place to stay as a family of 4 altogether with plenty of space and clean beds. Not far to the Underground and even the Hop on/off bus. Excellent location. Always has fresh soaps and toilet paper daily.

The stairs are never a favourite for my knees after miles of walking through London, but the room is as advertised. We also all shared 1 x teaspoon, which I only mentioned at checkout, and the guy was lovely and wish I'd told him as he has heaps - but people take them - which I do understand, so let him know if that happens to you.

The hotel was very close to the museums, just walking distance. We weren't looking for a luxury hotel etc. We needed a place to stay one night as a family for a good price in Kensington. Hotel was just perfect for our needs on that day. Staff were very polite and helpful. Made us feel welcome. The room was quite big. In our room we had three double bed and they were quite comfortable. We slept all night trough. Also, there were a small kitchen in the room...

The smell, there were some kind of smell in the room. But we left the windows open before we went out, when we came back it was quite late in the evening, then the smell wasn't that strong.

We had a wonderful stay in our room that was located within an easy block walk to the London Underground making all of London available to us. It was a great place to start exploring. Or first walk was to the London Natural History Museum about 5 or 6 blocks away. We were located close to Kensington Palace and The Royal Albert….so we were located on the West End of London. But we caught the Underground to the other side of London and The Tower of London and The Tower Bridge easily.

Our room fit our needs exactly.

The accommodation was within walking distance from the underground. The staff was extremelly helpful and everyday treated my children with lollipops :) When it was too cold in the room they borrowed us the refrigerator. At the day of our arrival due to cold weather we were allowed for earlier check-in which was awesome. We could also left our luggage after checkout (we had our plane late in the evening) In the room there was a small fridge, a microwave and all necessary cutlery,plates and mugs(two).

The bathroom needs to be renovated.

Everything was perfect, location, cleanliness, and services as compared to other hostels like Saint James Backpacker, I also stayed there on 1st Sep 2023. Every day in the morning Staff changed the bedsheets cleaned the room and provided the new towels which was missing in Saint James.

At the time of Check Inn, the receptionist asked me to pay 01 pounds with the same credit card which was not mentioned on either Booking.com nor on the hotel website. whereas the Mattress quality was not good I suggest to the Owner to please change the Mattress.

I was sceptical due to the bad reviews, but our stay was great. The location is excellent close to all attractions, supermarkets,takeaways, and underground. The room was really spacious. The beds were ok. It was great touch the microwave and fridge in the room.The guys in reception were both helpful and friendly,they've stored our luggage after checkout, too. Definitely recommended and good value for money for London.

It was a bit dusty under the bed,table but overall clean.

Location, nice neighbourhood, close to the tube in zone 1. Location was perfect. 5 minute walk from tube in zone 1. Room was small with small kitchen, but everything worked just fine for us. London is beautiful, we enjoyed exploring London all day. we didn't need luxury, but nice room to sleep. Although the room is outdated, it was clean, with daily room cleaning. Anwar house reached our expectations. Great value for money. Recommend.

It is little outdated, but still great value for reasonable price

We need clean, comfy beds and a clean toilet in a good location for a good price and that is what we got! I don't care about the rest, I'm not going to live here! But I would love to because it is a charming, old house in a lovely neighbourhood! Two tube stations near by as well as a bus station! Big Sainsbury's around the corner. Our room was spacious, the street was quiet and the staff were friendly, especially the cleaning lady!

If this place had towels in the room, I would have given a nine, just because they take up so much space in our hand luggage :)

The room was the cleanest I've ever been in. The daily cleaning crew are top notch. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels including 4 and 5 stars and this was the cleanest. The location, absolutely perfect for central London and Heathrow. The manager and staff were very hospitable and helpful. Everything I needed for a lovely stay.

Some of the rooms need a little renovation, but everything works well. I think that's why it has a low rating, but it shouldn't. See past that and you'll have a great stay.
