The staff were extremely helpful and very nice. There is a small courtyard to relax in. There is a lovely bar and restaurant. The rooms are small, but very comfortable and the beds are very comfortable. They are soft.

My only complaint is there were several stairs to get to the property. It is also not near the metro station.

Very luxurious hotel at the best location in London (very nice neighbourhood with many interesting places). All staff is very friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to the young brown-haired trainee who sent us to the wrong elevator but immediately followed us in the next elevator and apologised kindly and sent us the correct way (the interaction was funny and sweet). The room was VERY clean, luxurious, and well equipped. Though the windows were not openable (which is of course the case in most hotels) and I am very sensitive to non-fresh air, I got accustomed to the AC quickly and had no problem sleeping (in fact, I slept very well). The cold breakfast buffet is well balanced (cheese, ham, fruits, sweets, yoghurt, cereal, etc.) and the à la carte hot breakfast meals (one per person per day, duh) are very tasty. The ordered enhancement of the room (rose petals) was very nicely executed. We thank every one of the staff for their great work.

We loved the quietness of our location, absolutely NO street noise or noise from other rooms. You wouldn't have known you were in London! We also discovered that we'd been upgraded free of charge to a Junior Suite when we arrived, which was lovely as it was my husband's birthday! We had a BIG, comfortable bed and enjoyed our coffee making facilities in our room, as well as our dressing gowns which were soft & fluffy.

The bath towels could have been a big bigger & fluffier (like the dressing gowns!). But I'm quibbling...they were good enough!

The staff truly made all the difference. Every one of them was helpful, cheerful, and welcoming — not a single grumpy face, even though we probably had more than our share of requests 😄 We were celebrating my wife's birthday and decided to go for the birthday package they offered — and wow, did they deliver. For just £68, we got a beautifully arranged setup in our room with a cake, a birthday banner, a bottle of prosecco, and a helium balloon. A very fair price, if you ask me. But here’s the twist: in addition to what we paid for, they also surprised us with a room upgrade. It left us — especially my wife — feeling genuinely appreciated and cared for. We’ll definitely be coming back to this place the next time we’re in London.

Not that I’m complaining, but if I had to point out one area with room for improvement, it would be the breakfast. Breakfast was included in our stay, and it came with a warm selection that was both tasty and satisfying — definitely better than relying on bread alone. However, I tend to have a hearty appetite in the mornings, so I also went for some bread. That’s where the selection felt a bit limited. As a Muslim, my options for toppings were mostly restricted to cheese. It wasn’t a big issue, and to be fair, I left the table full and happy both days. But if I were to be nit-picky — just to offer a bit of constructive feedback — this is the one area that could be improved.

We had a nice quiet room, at the level of what I would expect from an Apex hotel. The gym facilities were really nice but we didn't have a chance to use it. The staff were very accommodating and attentive.

The room was generally clean, but the tub did have some random uncleaned hair in them which we scrubbed off ourselves before usage. The size of the room is tight -- though it is to be expected for London. The closest restaurants/stations are a bit far, which wasn't a huge issue and had the benefits of being quiet, but it did require us to walk quite a bit with our luggage to get to/from the hotel.

Rooms were large, lots of storage space, large bathroom with bath and shower, good quality toiletries, heated towel rail, huge comfy bed, comfy sofa, big TV with free sky channels, lovely range of snacks in room, nespresso machine, mini fridge, lots of mirrors, sockets next to bed, good lighting, excellent staff, very lovely and clean, nice decor, absolutely brilliant, can’t wait to come back!

Very minor things like no full length mirror and no light in cabinet where the kettle is. Can live without for short stays anyway. Also not right next to an underground station which might not be ideal on cold rainy days

just one little thing - the hair dryer provided by the hotel wasn't fittable the outlet in the bathroom. I used it in the room. it was a bit weird but It was ok.

Stayed one night after a function in Middle Temple church. Friendly, helpful and courteous staff at reception, bar and restaurant. Comfortable bed, good shower, and excellent breakfast.

Stayed here before, some years ago as an excellent location. This time, we gathered the hotel was fully booked, and we seemed to draw the short straw with room 119. A disabled bathroom, a large room but no easy chairs, and a very small window overlooking a pretty grubby alley and air conditioning giving little natural light. Possibly the only room like it at the hotel, but disappointing nevertheless.

Hotel was very clean, Staff friendly and helpful. Our room was excellent, with a balcony, and very quiet. The weather was so good, London is at it’s best at this time of year. Location was easy reach of Blackfriars Station, and a 20 minute walk to Convert Garden. We travel by river using Uber from Bankside to Greenwich,more expensive than l would have like to have paid but its was an experience, as next time I’ll use the tube. Found an excellent cafe in Greenwich, good prices for top quality food, and amazing service, The Cutty Sark, Church Street near to the market, which was a nice find too. The Navy College was a nice visit go in to Chaple which is free of charge, the gallery is not, then walk through the grounds to either the town, to Royal Observatory.

More of a grumble, St Paul’s Cathedral you have to pay to go inside, as l believe all churches including Cathedrals, should be free of charge, to ask for donations of £5, from every visitor, that would help keep the doors open.
