Great location, very comfortable and clean room

You do need to pay a £75 refundable deposit and this wasn’t clear to me on booking dot com. It’s central London, so it’s not the quietest - I was woken a couple of times in the night just from people outside - which can’t be helped being somewhere so very busy - but something of which to be aware

Excellent apartments, great value for money! Very helpful and understanding staff. Great location near all the nightlife in Shoreditch. Facilities in the apartment were great too. Special thanks to the gent on the desk this morning who was very kind and understanding!

The hotel was very centrical so from there it was easy to get around. The guy who works there, was the most helpful person we had all trip. He even download an easy app on our phone on how to get around in London easy and that app has saved us a lot of time and money. Inside the room there was even a washing machine so we could clean our clothes while going on our tours.

I LOVED my stay at Berkley Apartments! I got so much more than I paid for! The staff was helpful, and kind, and went above and beyond to help me with my challenges. I'd recommend Berkley Apartments over even the "trendier" places to stay in London's "hip" Shoreditch, because at the end of the day, it feels like you're coming right home... to your home away from home. The beds are comfortable. The temperature is perfect. The rooms are clean and bright. You're right in the heart of everything: "location, location, location." If you can find a little hidden treasure like this in *the most "hip" area of London*, only a 2-minute walk away from the loud crowded hustle and bustle of fun around the corner, you find yourself walking into a quiet, serene, calm HOME. Highly recommended!

apart from it generally being an amazing place to stay at, I was never at a a place more clean. the cleaners come in every three to four days and on top provided new towels and other things. Above all, I could give them my laundry, which they did very quickly and even put back into my room. It was a great stay and I would recommend it to everyone.

The only thing I could criticise is the noise coming from the street. On weekends I could hear people at night. However, it is something I was prepared for going to London and the area I stayed at, which is one busy with people going out for dinner or drinks. Nonetheless, the area is safe and I never had any bad encounters with anyone. I would say be prepared for lively street noice when going to London generally.

The apartments are ideally located for Shoreditch, in Rivington Street, an attractive location surrounded by trendy bars, pubs and eateries. Our apartment was compact but very clean and well equipped (apart from my comment below about crockery) and competitively priced. It suited my family well for an enjoyable 2 day stay in Shoreditch.

The photographs on Booking.com are misleading - they show all the apartments so it’s unclear what you’re getting and the picture shown on my booking, which had the beds on two levels was not what we got - all 3 beds were on the mezzanine. I consider this miss-selling. Also we booked for 4 people but the apartment only had cups, glasses etc for 3 people.

The apartment was spotless and very spacious with all the required amenities. The bed is very comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent We had no disturbances from other guests. There are plenty of places to eat/ drink if you don't wish to cook. I will definitely be returning next time we come to London

It can get a little noisy at night at weekends, not so much the people but the bin trucks collecting refuse from the local bars but it's a popular area so it's to be expected. I was a little confused about the £75 hold required but we received it back within 48 hours. So it wasn't a problem

The apartments were very clean and well maintained and in a great location. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. There were lots of restaurants and bars in the area and a tube station within a few minutes' walk. The check-in/check-out process was quick and easy, and the staff were helpful and friendly when going through everything with us and explaining how to use the heating, etc. The staff did a quick follow-up phone call to make sure we enjoyed our stay and to make sure there weren't any issues, which there weren't. I'd definitely stay here again!

Excellent location and room facilities are ideal for long stays.

We booked this place last minute after being stood up by another host. The staff were really accommodating ( big thanks to Steve at the reception for putting up with my upset! ). There's also a black kitty at the reception to welcome you in. The apartment is tiny but well organised, very clean and had everything we needed. It's close to the Underground and busses. There's a lovely Italian restaurant just opposite the apartments and many other bars and eateries around.

The apartment is on the second floor with many stairs to climb. It didn't bother us but might be a problem for someone with mobility issues.
