Loved my stay here. The location is perfect. The hotel lounge is cozy and a great alternative if you’re uncomfortable with rowdy/crowded pubs. I liked the in-room tablet, which makes orders and cleaning schedules seamless. Amenities-wise, it had more enough of what we need for our stay. The staff are nice and were very accommodating especially on our first day since guests have to be reminded of so many things. I also want to give particular emphasis on the ironing room, which has a sort of high-grade iron steamer that made flat ironing a breeze. Because of this, I didn’t have to pay for someone else to do it (was wary cos it was piña/silk, so was happy to do it myself). I wish more hotels did this. Glad they had perfect air conditioning as well, since many other hotels had bad aircon units during the summer.

The fridge is too tinyyy. I don’t think we had hair conditioner. Explore wider drink selection, particularly beer and cider!

We had a good 3-night stay. The room was a bit small but it was well designed and the bed, pillows were very comfortable. Good water pressure for the shower was a bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful…a shoutout to Sergio! I like the living room/canteen concept in the common area…it was large, comfortable with lots of light and power plugs for laptops etc. Daily breakfast buffet was great value at £16.95 with full English breakfast, lots of fresh fruit, tasty bread and there was also gluten free option for my husband who is intolerant to gluten. Room is digitally operated thru in-room tablet or app from your phone. Very efficient, comfortable, friendly and great value for money. Highly recommended!!

Decor in common area is very eclectic and a little strange so may not be to everyone’s taste.

We came back to this hotel after traveling for a few days in and around Amsterdam, and it was just as good as the first leg of our trip. I really appreciate the staff working here, and the facilities are clean and well-kept. We had a connection issue in our room with the television, but it was quickly fixed when we were out to dinner on our first night, and there were no other issues during our stay. I really appreciated that, when we asked about the fix, the staff member reconfirmed that it was OK to enter our room while we were out. The location is so close to a lot of wonderful restaurants, pubs, and boutique shopping, and it's extremely easy to get to anywhere you may want to visit in central London. In particular, the bus connections are great for getting around.

This property is in a great location. Close to buses and underground. Also close to the Elizabeth Line that goes directly to Heathrow. The staff was warm and friendly, especially during the morning for breakfast. The room was well laid out and the perfect size for me as a solo traveler. It would also work for a couple. At first I was skeptical about the bathroom since it was different from what I was used to but I ended up loving it. The coolest thing was how you could control everything from an iPad. It took a little while to get familiar with the setup but once I got the hang of it I had fun setting up the lights to fit my mood. If possible get a room on a high floor for the view. Let the staff at check-in know your preference and they'll help you.

The breakfast was good but I was hoping for a bit of variety. It was the same items each time. I think that's my only real complaint.

The folks who work at this hotel are extremely helpful, friendly without be intrusive, and pleasant to interact with overall. They got our stay off to a great start by helping me out with the touchscreen check-in because my eyes are acting up from allergies and flight dryness, making it more difficult to see than usual. I really appreciated how attentive the staff are, paying attention to who is coming and going, which made me feel very safe. The rooms are well-appointed and make great use of space. I like that there's the ability to control the ventilation system because it helps wick out damp air after showering. I was also impressed by the size of the bed, which is much bigger than I expected and was very comfortable for my friend and I to share without disturbing each other during sleep. One hugely helpful and convenient amenity is the free, refillable bottles of water at the restaurant/bar downstairs throughout the stay. This was a lifesaver, especially traveling in the summer.

Great location, and a good quirky/ Modern vibe to the place which I enjoyed very much. Bijou room but functional and comfortable bed/ great view/ good shower perfect for a 5feet tall Solo traveler ( would be small for a couple if you wished to stay more than a night or 2) . The staff was very helpful and felt comfortable dining in and sitting at the Bar Loved the little robots and the self-check-in / Check out, for a business trip it was perfect no hassle Breakfast was OK

The hairdryer had an EU plug for some bizarre reasons and the positioning of the socket was rather far from the mirror so tricky getting ready in the morning Quite expensive for what you get ( a box room for 300£ a night ut it IS Shoreditch)

Myself and my 16 year old daughter loved our whole experience at CitizenM in Shoreditch. The check in/holding bags facility before check in was available/room and facilities and communal space were all fantastic. Staff couldn't have been more smiley and friendly and helpful. The water still+sparkling on tap went down a treat and was so grateful to be able to get coffee and juice to bring to room the next am as we were checking out and going for a late breakfast elsewhere. The room had everything we needed and more and was spotless with great views. My daughter loved the lighting choices!

An earlier check in would have been great but we worked around the 2pm check in.

I loved the location and proximity to Boxpark, Tesco and a variety of cafes. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Inside the hotel, the living room area was nice as well and we spent time there every evening to wind down. I really liked that we had a mini fridge in the room and the long counter outside the bathroom area came in handy.

I thought the size of the rooms was a bit small for the price we paid but we still had everything we needed in the room. It would have been nice to have a bit more room on the other side of the bed because you have to be on the bed to fully appreciate the views of the city.

The Shoreditch location is awesome. So many bars, pubs, and fun food options around. Local feeling neighborhood without being boring. The room was super fun and really well styled. The service from the staff was fantastic.

The bathroom door doesnt really seal, and when your bathroom is just a shower and toilet, essentially in the middle fo the room with a fogged mirror it takes the low privacy and making it even lower. A real door that seals so you can privately go to the bathroom would be great. Thicker windows or walls to block that bathroom off would be really appreciated for some privacy. Not all couples will care, but for us it was kinda annoying.
